2016 BOOKINGS HAVE ALREADY STARTED COMING IN - please contact me asap - preference will be given to full week rentals, then first come first serve. In August of 2014 we visited Pelee Island for the first time and it was a bonafide case of love at first sight! Fair warning to anyone who's never been there before - you may fall under this magic spell that makes you never want to leave! Two months later we were the proud new owners of what I call our "little slice of heaven". We can't be there every moment, and a place like this needs to be enjoyed, so we decided to share our blessings with others by offering it to rent for your next family vacation!A Place to Enjoy! I'm guessing that we're not much different than most people. We work hard, raise our children, have bills, love our family time and simply want to make good things happen in the world. We love to have a nice vacation that can include our almost grown offspring, but the logistics become a bit tricky when working around those late teen, early 20's work, school, social and travel schedules! If we booked a tropical vacation, they couldn't come at all and YOWZA what a bill that would be! Not to mention the hassle of flights, luggage, transit - makes me want to break out in hives! So here's this island with sandy beaches, sunshine, waves crashing into the shore, a spacious, comfy space to relax in, a nice ferry ride that will have you relaxed and ready to vacation when you arrive, little to no traffic once you do arrive and some of the friendliest, welcoming people on the planet!! This is a place to be savoured and enjoyed - much like the world class wines that you will find at the winery if you so choose. If you are quiet and take your time, you might even be lucky enough to spot some of the many rare flora and fauna - some of which exist only on Pelee Island. Truly a place to be experienced...and once experienced - loved! You may end up becoming a neighbour if you are as lucky as we are!!IMPORTANT NOTE: Pelee Island is like going back in time. Lots of nature and rustic type of setting. Our house was built in 1915 - 100 years old! We love its old world cottage-y and comfy character, but it's not for everyone and we understand that. There are cottage rentals on the island that offer more deluxe accommodations for those who prefer a more luxurious experience. The people of the island are extremely friendly and helpful. Being a small community, most islanders know and look out for each other. Make sure you wave to everyone you pass by!!

An executive, Non-Smoking, country-style home right on the north shore of Lake Erie in a rural setting on Argyle Beach. We limit the number of overnight guests to a maximum of 10 to ensure that our guests will feel comfortable during their precious vacation. As we enjoy having a large family ourselves we know what is important when you spend time together. And that is space. Space where you can be by yourself if you feel like it. And enough space for everyone to get together. Many rental places offer sleeping facilities for 10 guests, but the dining room table inside the house is only large enough to seat four comfortably or six “squashed together”. Our dining table is approx. 110cm wide x 223 cm long (43 in. x 88 in) There are also two extensions for the ends that each add another 50 cm (20 in.) in length. Needless to say that we offer similar seating options outside. We have not only received positive feedback from family reunions, wine tasting clubs and quilting groups. What we like most is when families tell us how much their children enjoyed the beach and the Lake. Discover Southwestern Ontario and its heritage vineyards, National Park sites, and conservation areas. From spring (migration of songbirds) to fall (spectacle of monarch butterflies migrating to Mexico) there is always something to do or see. Keywords: House
