The SpaceI have TWO (2) bedrooms available for you, plus space for 3 more Queen airbeds in other rooms as well, UPON REQUEST, and your own private bathroom. I take pride in making my home a sanctuary away from the hub bub of the public, and ensuring complete privacy and anonymity! It's no mansion, just my home that I've lived in for 30 years and raised my children here. I can interact with you, or give you complete privacy, it is up to you. Let me know what you need and I will do my very best to give it to you and make your stay pleasurable and relaxing. I would be staying in my Master Bedroom with my own bathroom during your stay. I only rent to ONE party at a time, so you will not be sharing space with any strangers like at a B&B. I live alone with only a mountain behind me, overlooking the city, yet only 5 minute drive from downtown. Only traffic on my street are my neighbors... who would not recognize anyone unless they were Bing Crosby. LOL. Be prepared to enjoy your morning coffee to the harmony of the birds chirping their little hearts out. Watch the family of Quail run through the yard, or an occasional deer off the mountain. I am a mom, gramma, daughter, sister, friend, and I don't smoke, have no pets any longer, so it is a peaceful & very quiet & discreet home to stay in. It's not a palace, but it's homey. I live in scenic Klamath Falls located in Southern Oregon. The perfect centrally located place to recharge in between the many adventures available! My home is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 1700 square foot home, and I am renting out up to 2 of the bedrooms that each have queen beds. You’ll have private bath right across hall, yet you also get use my entire home; washer and dryer, fully stocked kitchen that you may cook in, dining & living room, in my quiet and peaceful home. BBQ on my back deck. There is a TV in living room and free Wi-Fi. I also have 3 pillowtop queen airbeds in addition to the 2 real queen beds, if needed- UPON REQUEST. Go ahead and fall asleep on my huge soft leather sectional in living room, it’s as comfortable as a bed, and no one will bother you. Has a view of gorgeous Mt. Shasta from my front deck and a wonderful mountain behind me to hike on. It is in a very private area. I will include snacks, and full use of my kitchen to make whatever you want, and I will provide light continental breakfast as well. Just let me know what your preferences are, such as types/brands/flavors of yogurt/bagels/fruit/cereal, and I will cater to your specific needs and likes. I go to bed early, and then get up early for work, so basically it is truly as if you are renting an entire house all to yourself, for just the cost of a room. Note: this is my home in a quiet, private location on mountainside. It is not a "condo" with paper thin walls. My fully stocked kitchen is FULLY stocked... not just salt and pepper ;) This is the perfect place to stop and rest if you are traveling through Klamath Falls, but it is also the perfect alternative to a motel for Business people, or for Locum Tenums that need a temporary place to stay while working here. It's a very quiet and peaceful place to be. Children grown and gone. It's like having the house to yourselves. I go to bed early and arise early, then I go to work 8-5 Mon-Fri. I have had musicians and actors stay here incognito. I never share information. Besides the numerous hiking opportunities, I do have a treadmill in my "back room" available for your use. ******NOTE! IF YOU NEED MORE SPACE AND WANT TO ALSO HAVE USE OF MY MASTER BEDROOM with King bed and additional bathroom , in which case I would then move out during this stay, you must go to my "OTHER LISTING" titled "PRIVATE HOME GETAWAY W/GREAT VIEW" and book that instead. (cost is higher for that, of course) I only rent to one "party" at a time, whether you only use 1 bedroom or 2, so you will always have your own private bathroom. I do not have any pets due to allergies. I'm looking forward to meeting you! And PLEASE follow my driving instructions for getting to my home, because, everytime someone has used their GPS, for some odd reason, it takes them on the longest routes possible! My directions are the shortest to my house. And when arriving, please park up along the right side of my house up on the flat drive. Like No Place Else On Earth Crater Lake has inspired people for thousands of years. No place else on earth combines a 2000 ft deep, pure lake, so blue in color; sheer surrounding cliffs, almost two thousand feet high; two picturesque islands; and a violent volcanic past. It is a place of immeasurable beauty, and an outstanding outdoor laboratory and classroom. Lava Beds Lava Beds National Monument is a land of turmoil, both geological and historical. Over the last half-million years, volcanic eruptions on the Medicine Lake shield volcano have created a rugged landscape dotted with diverse volcanic features. More than 700 caves, Native American rock art sites, historic battlefields and campsites, and a high desert wilderness experience await you! Guest AccessPeople come from all over the world to take pictures of our unique collection of birds on and around Klamath Lake (10 minutes from my home) and Tulelake Wildlife Refuge. I am only an hour away from world famous Crater Lake. The Oregon Shakespearean Theator (known all over the world) is an hour's drive away, as is the world famous National Lava Beds with it's mysterious underground caves/caverns to explore. The area is well known for it's hiking, fishing, hunting, sailing, and much more. Wonderful photography opportunities! My home is 3 miles from "downtown" and 6 miles from Sky Lakes Medical Center (our hospital) and OIT (Oregon Institute of Technology). The Steens Sports Park is only about 1 mile away from me, too. We also have the Ross Raglund Theater, and a public municipal pool, the Pelican Cinemas movie theater and a multitude of restaurants. Interaction with GuestsInteraction is as much as you desire. I give you use of my entire home (except my master suite). I can stay away, or interact. It is up to you. I want you to enjoy full privacy. I go to bed early and get up early because of my job, so you'll see very little of me. You may cook in my kitchen as well! I will buy your breakfast groceries, just let me know what you want. The NeighborhoodWhat I love about my neighborhood is the quiet and privacy of it. Also the breathtaking view overlooking the city and Mt Shasta, and the calmness of viewing my backyard... an entire mountain, which by the way is great for hiking. People that stay with me USUALLY drive up from or down to San Francisco (same distance away - I'm right in the middle), make a pit stop here and since I am exactly centrally located from alot of sights, take in Crater Lake National Park and/or the Lava Beds National Monument and sometimes Ashland which is a quaint little town that homes the world famous Oregon Shakespeare Festival .. and the Britt Festivals a little bit further... oh and Lake of The Woods is only a 45 min drive from my house, oh heck there are too many hiking and wilderness areas to explore to even list! You drive right by Mt. Shasta to get to me, and I look out at Mt Shasta from my front deck (when there isn't smoke!). It's only an hour drive away from me too. It's the 2nd highest volcano in the USA! And then during the summer months there's the Klamath Falls Farmers' Market which is a 5 minute drive from my house. Wow, I just realized I am right in between the highest volcano in the United States AND the deepest lake in the United States. You can see how you can spend a whole week at my AirBnB home with all these day adventures to experience! Then some just do NOTHING but totally relax in the quietness of my backyard on the mountain side, listening to the birds. Well then there's the occasion business person in town for meeting and is tired of the Shilo ... or the overflow from weddings and class reunions, etc. I even had a Locum Tenen (temporary doctor) stay here for 3 months with me! Getting AroundThere is public transit in Klamath Falls. There are car rentals available at the airport and Enterprise rental is just down on South 6th St, a 5 minute drive from my house. Enterprise is within walking distance from the Train station as well. And plenty of parking at my home. Other Things to NoteMy home is a great central location to many areas of interest. And it is not just an empty condo or cold motel room, it is a home, a CLEAN home, very homey and comfortable and a kitchen filled with everything at your (URL HIDDEN) a very private area, no public traffic, only people that live on the street drive by, yet only 3 miles from city center. Steen's sports park is just about a mile down the road, and Klamath Falls is home to Kiger Stadium!

Besides the multitude of hiking opportunities, I do have a treadmill in my "back room" available for your use. I'm renting my entire home. The SpaceWhat makes your stay at this property unique is the setting - right on Klamath Lake. It is a beautiful setting. Plus, your hosts (Jim & Jane) know all about the area and can/will help you maximize your time in our region. Guest AccessFeel free to use the home as if it were yours. Interaction with GuestsWe are social people. If we are home, we'd love for you to join us for a meal, a BBQ on our back patio, or, just in conversation. The NeighborhoodThe Harbor Isles neighborhood is one of Klamath Falls' premier neighborhoods. With Klamath Lake, several canals, and an 18 hole golf course, all the homes in this area are well situated. We like that within walking distance is the Harbor Isles Golf Club and inside it Biagio's Bar & Grill, serving great food in the evenings and on weekends. Also, the Klamath Falls yacht club is several doors down the street, and there are often parties and other social activities for locals. Getting AroundGetting around Klamath is easy. GPS helps but if you are needing transportation there are several options. BTS (Basin Transit Services) is the public bus and they have an excellent schedule. There are also two taxi cab companies who will come on a dime to get you and move you around. If you wish to travel in luxury, rent a limo from Exquisite Limo Services. Amtrak comes right into Klamath Falls and we will come pick you up if you travel this way. From the South it arrives at 8:30 AM and from the North it arrives at 10:00 PM daily. Or, fly into Crater Lake Airport. Again, we'll come pick you up. We have maps for you if you don't have GPS. Other Things to NoteFirst, your Hosts (Jim & Jane) have been earned the status of "Super Hosts" by AirBnB. We are proud to have that status and it's because we pay attention to the details, so that your trip is better. Second, if you wish to learn about the many recreational and/or cultural things to do in our area, check out the website of our local tourism agency: Discover (URL HIDDEN) For more information on the community and what it's like to live here, check out the official community website: Klamath (URL HIDDEN)

The SpaceLots of space downstairs w/access to laundry room + private exit (French doors). There is a 55 gallon fish tank in the room for your relaxation and therapeutic pleasure. We are fun, easygoing people but we are parents, too and that means we have to use our better judgment when screening reservations. Our growing toddler comes first. Please note we are expecting our second child end of September and will stop taking reservations mid-September. Also, we have moved my Queen sized Tuft & Needle brand mattress to downstairs so that we may benefit from the King mattress. We appreciate your understanding :) Guest AccessLaundry room and full, private bathroom downstairs, kitchen upstairs. Please note that evening/after-hours meals must be taken downstairs as to accommodate our sleeping toddler and allow for our own private space upstairs. To this end, we ask that the kitchen close at 8pm. Thanks! Interaction with GuestsWe like to show our guests around or at least make suggestions and answer questions. We ask that guests check out before 10am or whenever we leave for the day, whichever comes first. I try my best to be flexible and accommodate your schedules as much as possible. The NeighborhoodUp the street is Roosevelt Elementary School and down the street is Kit Carson park. A few blocks away is Portland Street market with a great selection of wine and beer, and downtown is an easy walk. Within one mile of the Amtrak station. Getting AroundSmall enough city to walk, rent bikes at Hutch's or take the bus using BTS (Basin Transit System). Other Things to NoteWill be able to allow a flexible, sometimes late-night check-in time so long as guests are respectful of our sleeping toddler when entering our home after-hours.

The NeighborhoodKlamath Falls has so much to offer visitors: · Hiking · Geocaching · Bike Rentals · Boating · Golfing · Outlet Shopping · Antique Shopping This spectacular 3,600-acre ranch and golf resort is located 2.6 miles away from the magnificent shores of the 143-square-mile Upper Klamath Lake. Home to seven national wildlife refuges and a short drive to the pristine Crater Lake National Park. This is a wonderful place to have family adventures, business trips, or weddings. You can take a walk around the only Arnold Palmer-designed golf course in Oregon. During the winter you can rent some snowshoes, bring your skis, or go inner tubing, or snow boarding on site. There are 12 miles of hiking and biking trails to enjoy. You could sip a hot cocoa after taking a spin around the ice skating arena and warm up by the fire. With the fresh mountain air on the deck looking across the golf course can make for a relaxing afternoon. If you would like to research the area there is a really cool sight I found: discover klamath. It will give you some awesome to do ideas when you come visit. Getting AroundThis is a remote resort far enough from the city center but a 15 minute drive to shopping. If you are seeking rest and relaxation you have found the place. Call ahead and give the front desk a grocery list and you don't even have to leave your room. ($25 fee applied) Plan early for night life though because Klamath Falls is a quiet town that closes shop around 10pm. Once you get down town there is a Main street that you can walk through but I would advise driving. Other Things to NotePlease contact us if only one weekend day is required as there is usually a two night minimum stay on the weekends. Resort requires a $100 credit card hold as a security deposit. The security deposit will be used in the event that any onsite charges, missing items or damages to the unit occur. If no items are missing or damages are found, the hold will be released per standard banking practices. Check with the front desk to obtain information about the onsite wireless access (minimal fee applies) This resort is Business Travel friendly and has all applicable amenities available onsite (minimal fee may apply).

The SpaceFor best rates I am accepting bookings within 60 days of today. (2 months out) Weekends have a 2 nights minimum (If booked last minute 2 days before arrival I can accept 1 night on weekends) Perched on a ridge near the 143-square-mile Upper Klamath Lake, your resort is well-positioned to take advantage of one of the most diverse and pristine wildernesses in North America (there are seven national wildlife refuges here). After several "Oh wow’s" and a few "Look at that’s," you’ll be ready to return to your Running Y accommodations and all the comforts of home. Perched on a ridge near the 143-square-mile Upper Klamath Lake, your resort is well-positioned to take advantage of one of the most diverse and pristine wildernesses in North America (there are seven national wildlife refuges here). In fact, bald eagles by the hundreds winter in the Klamath Basin. Such a backdrop invites exploration. So choose your transport—foot, tire, or wing, and set forth. After several "Oh wow’s" and a few "Look at that’s," you’ll be ready to return to your Running Y accommodations and all the comforts of home.
