This totally private space has reverse cycle heating/cooling, a pillow-top Queen bed with quality 400 TC Egyptian cotton linens, bedside tables with reading lamps, digital clock radio, lounge with 32" flatscreen TV/DVD, in-house movies, books, magazines, Teac Micro-stereo w/iPod/CD, love seat with reading lamp, nesting coffee tables; fully equipped modern kitchen with bar fridge, crisping microwave, toaster, induction cooktop, sandwich press, stick mixer, blender, coffee press/grinder, tea pot, full crockery, glassware and cutlery; Ensuite with modern walk-in shower, quality towels and toiletries, hairdryer; Outdoor and indoor teak dining, teak steamer lounge chairs, gym, gas BBQ, iron/ironing board and washer with indoor and outdoor drying lines. Tennis is available nearby so we've provided rackets and a sleeve of tennis balls if you're up for a game!
Situated 29 km west of Denmark town on the Heritage Rail Trail, it has commanding views over green rolling hills and majestic Karri forest and is ideal for couples looking for a romantic getaway.
A Land for Wildlife registered property, you can enjoy the abundant flora and fauna including the rare red-tailed cockatoos, splendid blue wrens, kangaroos, and beautiful sunrises and sunsets as well as magnificent stargazing. Animals on the farm include Angus cattle, Thoroughbred horses, and Dorper sheep.
Close access to South Coast Highway makes it easy to explore the many local attractions including Parry's Beach, Peaceful Bay, Valley of the Giants and the Tree Top Walk, Toffee Factory, Bartholomew's Meadery, William Bay/Greens Pool, and the many local wine cellar doors, microbreweries and chocolatiers (three!)
Your holiday will start with a welcome basket of fresh baked bread, butter, local preserves or honey, fresh ground coffee, tea, fresh milk, free range farm eggs, and a fruit basket.
We even offer beach items to enjoy your day at the local beaches: beach towels, picnic basket, and camp chairs.
Guests can enjoy access to a 250 acre working farm with 40 acres of Karri forest exhibiting abundant flora and fauna right on the Heritage Rail Trail - a 50km walking trail from Denmark to Nornulup. There is plenty of walking opportunities on the property as well so bring your hiking boots or wellies!
The studio chalet is truly rural so you can enjoy a digital detox and "get away from it all". We do have mobile coverage (Telstra and Optus) so you can still stay in touch and there is wi-fi access in town.
The hosts are always available to provide tips on local attractions and there is tourist information provided in the studio.
The Great Southern region is a world class tourist destination noted for its pristine air and water, producing some of the best regional produce in the country. Guests can enjoy beautiful beaches, nature walks, romantic wining and dining, spectacular sunrises, sunsets and stargazing.
Private access/parking - totally separate from the owner's cottage. A car is necessary for enjoying the region as their is limited public transport.
Check in time is 4 p.m. Check out time is 10 a.m. If possible alternative times can be arranged with the host prior to arrival.

The NeighborhoodWe live in a quiet rural setting so please respect the tranquility this provides. Getting AroundYou will need a car (2WD is fine) to access the chalet and surrounding areas. There are 4WD access areas to some beaches so please adhere to the road signage. Denmark does have a taxi service should you require it.
