The SpaceYour holiday home is located in Marina Court, a hugely popular holiday rental spot in the city centre of Kota Kinabalu. This 3-bedroom apartment unit is furnished with the basic amenities to ensure a comfortable stay.
BEDROOMS - An ensuite master bedroom with a king-sized bed, and two other bedrooms, one with a queen-sized bed and the other with 2 single beds. All rooms are air-conditioned and come with simple room furnishing.
Additional persons beyond 6 will sleep on mattresses on the floor (no bed frames). Enquire on discount for additional person for stays beyond 3 nights.
BATHROOMS - Both bathrooms have hot showers, one instant, and the other the boiler type which takes a bit of warming up before use.
LIVING ROOM - The living room has a comfortable sofa, and comes with a 32" LCD TV with Astro subscribed. Living room opens onto a balcony.
KITCHEN - The kitchen comes with a fridge, microwave, a stove, some basic cookware, crockery and cutlery. Suited to light cooking rather than preparation of full meals. There is also a washing machine for your use.
SWIMMING POOL - You may use the swimming pool, subject to the rules and regulations of the apartment complex.

There is also wifi access in the apartment, provided on best-effort basis. Interaction with GuestsRudy remotely manages the bookings and enquiries on behalf of the host, a Roman Catholic missionary priest ministering around Borneo and SE Asia, and who relies on the proceeds from your stay to fund his missionary projects. Rudy will deal with your booking and all enquiries prior to your arrival in the city, but will not meet you in person as he is a 3 hour flight away!
Ah Lung, will be who guests will meet in person, upon check-in and check-out, or at the airport if you require his taxi services (see below). He is the person to call if you cannot find your way to the apartment, or if there are any problems or questions during your stay. The NeighborhoodThe apartment is located along a waterfront stretch of Kota Kinabalu, and is just a short walk (few hundred metres) to the Filipino Market, the various malls and shopping centres, the waterfront stretch of bars, cafes and restaurants and the buses that depart from or arrive at the front of the High Court building. Getting AroundMost of downtown KK can be covered on foot.
There are buses that go around the city and suburbs. They are a few companies, with varying standards (some aircon and some without), and generally do not operate on a fixed schedule.
Taxis are available to take you to/from the airport or other areas. If you require an airport transfer by taxi, Ah Lung can offer this at an exclusive discounted price, subject to availability. - If there are any issues with the apartment, its amenities or fittings, do let us know so that we can rectify it, instead of keeping quiet and then surprising us with a negative review. Communication is the key!
- The apartment is cleaned every 3-4 days, unless you do not wish to be disturbed. Kindly discuss with Ah Lung at check-in.
- Kindly communicate with us your approximate check-in time, or your arrival details, so that we can make arrangements to check you in, as Ah Lung is not resident in the apartment complex.
