Beach access through a new underpass ( under Highway 101) is conveniently located at the foot of our street, just down the block. The private guest apartment at Casa Makai is a reflection of the rest of the house owned by two working artists. Works of art are everywhere. The large front living room/ kitchenette features a library filled with interesting reading material, a large flat screen TV, and a futon that could be used as a third bed. The kitchenette has all the necessary appliances, utensils, and dishes for a short vacation stay: small fridge, toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker, portable cook-top.The bedroom has a queen size bed and small flat screen. It is next to the private bathroom with shower. The separate apartment entry faces a garden pond. To the side of the apartment is a private meditation garden with a fountain. It's a nice place to have morning coffee or to meet with friends or family livings in the area. Guests also have access to the second floor lanai with a terrific ocean view. The apartment rents to adults only, no children due to liability issues with the pond in front of the apartment. No pets, we often rent to guests with severe allergies.           This tranquil 4BR/3BA Rincon Point house in Carpinteria has expansive ocean views. The living room has large, west-facing windows overlooking your deck, which has a built-in BBQ and views of a world-class beach. The first floor has an impressive living area with breathtaking views through grand windows. In the living room, there is a 32" flat screen TV, stereo equipment, luxurious furniture, a gas fireplace, and vaulted ceilings. A sliding glass door offers ocean views and access to the deck and hot tub.
