The bay is characterized by its diversity of flora and fauna, both marine and terrestrial
Casa Pauline offers three totally independent rooms, two with king size beds and one with a queen size bed. The bedrooms are spacious with high ceilings and all have electricity and fans, a kitchen and hot water. Each bedroom has its own large terrace with views of the Sierra mountains, the beautiful blue ocean and the clear sky; each of the with hammocks sun loungers and the house´s garden has a relaxing hanging bed

With prior reservation, we are happy to offer simple but sophistically homemade dishes,with fresh,organically grown ingredients and of course sea food extracted from the depths of the sea.
We offer homemade continental breakfast (fruit, fresh juices, jams, home-made bread, coffee and tea).
Casa Pauline´s food is based around fruits, vegetables, pastas, fish and a great diversity of sea-food caught freshly each day.

Walking trails, where it is possible to see the passage of migratory birds. You may also be able to see all kinds of tropical creatures like armadillos, skunks, iguanas and several small reptiles
Casa Pauline is located on the Pacific Coast of southeast México, between Huatulco (40min) and Puerto Angel (20min) at La Boquilla Beach Pochutla Oaxaca .
La Boquilla is a private bay that has not been exploited by tourism, despite it being very easy to get to.
Arriving by air :
The Bay is located between two international airports, Puerto Escondido (PXM) and Huatulco (HUX), which offer direct flights from Houston all year round. In winter there are flights from Denver, Chicago, Toronto and Calgary. National flights arrive from Mexico City, Guadalajara and Oaxaca.
Casa Pauline offers airport transportation, to and from Oaxaca, Huatulco and/or Puerto Escondido at an additional cost
Arriving by road:
From Oaxaca it is most advisable to take the 175 highway to San Pedro Pochutla.
Buses and vans also come from Mexico City, Oaxaca, Puerto Escondido, San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas, and Acapulco among other places.
Arriving by sea:
The nearest port is Puerto Angel (15 minutes).A water taxi can be provided with prior reservation.
Casa Pauline is located in a tropical area, therefore the weather is great, maintaining a temperature between 25 and 35 degrees the whole year round. The trees loose their leaves in the dry season and about twenty different tree and cactus species can be found here. The rainy season between june and september sees hotter days with cooling rain afternoon showers.
Activities arranged with prior notice:
Scuba diving and boat rides can be arranged to see whales, dolphins, turtles, rays, whale sharks and other aquatic species, such as tuna, sword fish, marlin, barracuda, puffer fish, lobster, octopus, oysters etc.
Yoga and Relaxing massage on the beach with wonderful view of the bay. Our masseurs use essential oils made by specialist in the area. In addition we offer a prehispanic stone bath treatment (temazcal) using water and aromatic herbs of the region.
