The SpaceHi! Welcome to my country home in La Pine. My home backs up to acres of Ponderosa pine forest. I call it a retreat because it is so peaceful here you can hear a pine needle drop! My guests tell me they get a good night's sleep and love the Starbucks coffee and Belgian waffles with fresh strawberries. I rent out two guest rooms both on the main floor. The Wickiup guest room has a queen Old Hickory bedroom set with a patchwork quilt, and a twin bed with denim comforter as pictured. Just around the corner, the BEARied Treasure guest room has cabin décor with queen log furniture. 5 Person maximum when renting both guest rooms. No deposit or cleaning fee! The guest full-bath has a vintage clawfoot tub and shower. Most of the year the guest bath is private. During busy summer months when both rooms are rented, the guest bath is shared. I do not allow pets in my home other than my own cats. I have a 10' x 6' heated kennel in the garage for people traveling with animals. Guests have found my home a convenient stopover for traveling to or from Crater Lake National Park. You may want to stay an extra night after viewing the online Guide map I have prepared for you below. Zoom out (-) to view. It summarizes my many picks for local sightseeing, entertainment, restaurants, bars, and shopping. Guest AccessThe entire downstairs is shared. Kitchen access is provided for cooking. I provide all utensils and basic spices and oils. One shelf in the fridge and a tray in the freezer are reserved for guest use. Please ask for help when using the washer and dryer. The TV loft is also shared. Services include: Wi-Fi high-speed internet, Dish Network TV, and The Bend Bulletin online. Interaction with GuestsGuests are welcomed into my home, shown their room and bath, and given the Wi-Fi password. I offer restaurant recommendations to guests that arrive before dinner and prefer not to cook. Hot tea is made available to guests in the evening, and ice and water are on the refrigerator door. I enjoy helping tourists with their itineraries, as little or as much as they would like. Typically I offer some sight seeing suggestions to guests before they arrive through airbnb messaging. Once they arrive, I give them more detailed information that evening or after breakfast. The NeighborhoodTwo-and-a-half indoor/outdoor felines share my home. Our country forest neighborhood is an eclectic mix of vacation and full-time residence homes each on 1/2 acre or more with plenty of room for parking.
