Interaction with GuestsI occasionally work from home or the co-working spaces around Yaba, so will often be around to help out or suggest places to go. I've a great network of friends around the tech ecosystem. If your stay is for work or study, then we'll leave you alone to get on with it - the house is generally calm and quiet. The NeighborhoodYaba was recently listed in Metropolis Mag as one of the top 10 most creative neighborhoods in the world ahead of Upper Seung Wan in Hong Kong and Silo District, Cape Town. A once-direlict suburb is fast becoming one of the go-to places for technology renaissance in Africa, quite like Nairobi in Kenya, with Tech Start ups like (URL HIDDEN) Andela, CC-Hub and many others. Institutions of higher learning in the area include Queen's College, the Nigerian Institute of Medical Research, the Yaba College of Technology, Igbobi College, the University of Lagos, the Federal School Science and Technical College, and the Federal College of Education. Yaba has one of the busiest market sites in Lagos, known as Tejuosho Market, Nigeria. Yaba Getting AroundPublic transport is easy as much as it's hectic but If you're into the full experience of hustle and bustle of Lagos: You could take a motorcycle (Okada) or a tricycle (Keke Napep) for short commute around Yaba.
For longer trips, I'd advise to use a taxi or just Uber.
