During the spring and summer, the trees completely block out everything. Even though we live about 5 minutes from Snohomish, Everett and Lake Stevens, you would never know it. Getting AroundNot really. It is possible to catch a ride with one of us at the house to Everett where public transportation can take you anywhere. However, this service cannot be guaranteed.       Come and relax! Enjoy all that Lake Roesiger and the surrounding area has to offer when you stay at this awesome cabin! The cabin location is on a perfect spot on Lake Roesiger. We are what is referred to as either the south part of the lake or the small end of the lake. Outside of the ski course, not on the middle lake (which is full of lily pads and weeds), just in the perfect area for taking the canoe out, going for a swim, or using the paddle boat to check things out! There are two bedrooms plus a sleeping room for you to use. The master bedroom has a queen bed. The second bedroom has a queen bed plus a "twin over full" bunk bed. The sleeping area has a twin trundle bed plus a full mattress set that rests directly on the floor. There is a full bathroom on the second floor with these bedrooms. There is a half bath on the main floor. Great kitchen/dining area with a table that seats 6. Living room is nice and big with plenty of room to stretch out. Enjoy the paddle boat and canoe as you explore the lake. Jump off the dock and go for a swim. Bring your own power boat or jet ski and use the ski area (don't forget your life jackets). Throw in your fishing rod too. Parking at the top of the property for two vehicles maximum. Walk down the path to the cabin and the lake. Looking for kayaks, a 14' aluminum fishing boat to rent (w/ or w/o a motor), or want to go on a captained cruise of the lake - just give our local store, the Lake Roesiger General Store, a call and they can set you up with their rentals. Maximum rental period is 7 nights during the summer months. Taxes do not apply to monthly rental.

The NeighborhoodThe 2 acre property is located along Stitch Lake, a tiny, private access lake with excellent bass and trout fishing. A half mile north along Davies Rd is Wyatt Park, a great swimming beach on Lake Stevens, a large lake with motor boating, jet skiing, etc. Grocery shopping is 2 miles north, and quaint downtown Lake Stevens is a 4 mile trip around to the other side of Lake Stevens. For bicycle enthusiast, the centennial trail is very close by. Getting AroundLake Stevens Transit Center is 1.5 miles away and has a park and ride to use public bus system that connects to Everett train station and bus station that connects to the greater metropilitan area public transportation. From May to October bikes are available for use on nearby Centennial Trail. Plenty of room for parking any size vehicle adjacent to the house. The NeighborhoodOur property is very private and serene thanks to the many trees that surround our 5 acre property. You are likely to see deer and a variety of birds in the yard surrounding the pond. Within walking and biking distance to Centennial Trail, a paved intercommunity trail popular with walkers, joggers and bikers. Don't miss the many unique shops and restaurants in charming downtown Snohomish. Getting AroundThough our country home is not near a bus line. The Everett transit and train station is 20 minutes away by taxi. We highly recommend you use Uber as they arrive faster than a cab which has to come from Everett. We have bikes and helmets available for those who would like to ride the trail to Snohomish. Other Things to NoteThe pond near the house is large and deep. We do not recommend booking with us if you are traveling with children under age 12. If you are bringing children they cannot be left unattended outside.

We have resident eagles and osprey the will fish right in front of you. Lake Roesiger is a chain of three lakes. You can boat all three lakes. There are 2 small local stores within 3 miles. Snohomish is 7 miles, Monroe is 10 miles and Everett is about 15 miles.

Each bedroom has it's own bathroom which makes it perfect for a couples retreat or traveling with teens. There is another half bath off the kitchen handy to the sofa bed. Surrounded by stands of tall cedars and Alders, a large reflection pond with trout is steps from the back deck. beautiful and fun to catch and release, but not recommended for families with young children due to the drowning hazard. There is plenty of room to cook in the well appointed kitchen and seating for 10 at the antique dining table. The home also features a wood stove, brick fireplace, books galore, puzzle and game, DVD library, large back yard, hot tub, canoe, ample parking area and 5 bikes ready to use on the nearby Centennial Trail, a favorite of Washington joggers and bikers. The house is evenly spaced between Everett, Snohomish and Lake Stevens, Washington. The Lake has a public beach and boat ramp. All 3 towns offer a variety of restaurants, shopping and entertainment options for young and old.

Getting AroundDrive or bike 6 miles to Granite Falls and continue the 50-mile scenic Mountain Loop Hwy to Darrington without seeing a single traffic light. Other Things to NoteCell signal is only 1 or 2 bars, but doable. The Flower Bower has a storage closet that is lockable if you wish to bring your own padlock. (Warm summer days has a solar heat effect so plan to keep the doors and windows opened for the fans to circulate the air.)

          This lakefront cabin is perfect for a quiet weekend get-a-way or an extended family vacation stay filled with activity. This cabin offers 2 bedrooms plus additional sleeping in the family room and living room for a total of 8 person accommodations. 1 King bed, 2 Queen beds and 1 futon sofa in living room. There is one full bathroom with washer/dryer available for use, a fully equipped kitchen as well as a wood burning stove to warm up with on those cold winter nights. Outdoors offers many on-site activities. With 90' of waterfront, a dock, boathouse with slip, beach area, fire pit, horseshoe pits, slack-line, an 8 person hot tub, and a large grass area, you will find plenty to do to make your vacation enjoyable. We also have an 8' aluminum row boat for your use so remember your fishing gear as the lake is stocked yearly. In addition we have an optional rental of 2 kayaks. Lake Roesiger offers a ski course with boating and jet ski activities from May 25 through September 25 within the hours of 10:30am to 5:30pm. Outside of these dates and hours, all water activities are to be kept under 8mph. **This is a very family friendly environment and we are delighted to share it with you. We ask that renters be respectful of our great neighbors with quiet time at 10:30pm. Lake Roesiger is located just a short 10 miles outside of the historic and scenic town of Snohomish which is famous for antiques. It also offers many restaurants and pubs, coffee houses, bike trails, hot air balloon rides, parachute jumping, airplane rides, a river walk, shopping and seasonal corn mazes and farmers market. You can visit Historic Downtown Snohomish website for all current events, festivals and "things to do". Other nearby activities include 100's of some of the most beautiful PNW hiking trails located off Mountain Loop Highway. There are numerous golf courses within a 25 mile radius. Day trips can take you to Downtown Seattle, Vancouver B.C., Leavenworth for your Bavarian experience, Woodinville Wineries for your tasting tours and don't forget the Evergreen State Fairgrounds to enjoy the weekend car races as well as the State Fair at the end of August. In the winter months you can take in some of the best downhill skiing Washington has to offer at Stevens Pass Ski Area as well as beautiful cross-country trials and snow-shoe hiking. There is a General Store just 2.5 miles around the lake to take care of most of your immediate needs as well as offer lake rental equipment and information on the surrounding area.

          This inviting lakefront home is a perfect getaway from hectic city life or a scenic retreat while visiting the beautiful northwest and Puget Sound region. With the lake just steps away from the door it is easy to take a swim, kayak, canoe or paddleboard. Or simply relax in the hot tub while enjoying the lake and mountain views while watching the bald eagles that call Lake Stevens home. Wake up to stunning sunrises and enjoy sunsets by the fire pit while roasting marshmallows. The fenced backyard and protected shallow swimming area make supervising little ones easy from the comfortable BBQ patio or dock lounges. The outdoor shower makes it convenient to rinse off after a cool swim in the lake before relaxing in the hot tub. The master bedroom with its covered deck has spectacular views of the lake and Cascade Mountains. A rec room hosts two comfortable sofa beds that sleep up to 4 people. The rec is also a great place to play a game of foosball, Xbox, or watch a movie. It is a pleasant 5-minute walk to a lakefront park with a playground, basketball court, picnic area and beach. Also within a 5 minute walk is an unassuming convenience store with over 50 beers on tap. Grab one of the growlers from the kitchen and fill up! Note: Unfortunately we do not have dock space for you to keep a ski boat overnight. However we do have 2 paddle boards, a kayak and a canoe for your use!! Also we do have a dog and a cat that reside with us, however, our home is professionally cleaned before each guest. A little about the area: Lake Stevens is the largest lake in Snohomish County with easy access to Puget Sound, hiking/biking/snow sports in the Cascade Mountains, Boeing manufacturing plant/museum in Everett, Seattle Outlet Mall and Tulalip Casino (both 20 mins).

Don't miss the 15min drive to the Historic Downtown Snohomish, famous for their many antique stores, scrumptious eateries, bubbling pubs, warm bakeries, and lively fish markets.
