The SpaceWelcome! The place is located 25 minutes off of route 6 just beyond Springfield, ME. The roads are in good condition but for the last stretch, you will need to drive on gravel roads. Located on an 11,000-acre lake. There are fewer people/camps on this lake than most others in the area (across the lake is a Passamaquoddy Land Trust). Fishing is fantastic. There is a gravel boat launch at the other end of the lake. Electricity and water are generator powered. The generator is needed to wash clothes, take a shower, occasionally refill the water tank, and to supplement propane lighting. The water tank holds sufficient water for washing dishes and using the toilet/sink. The generator is turned on and off through a switch on the first floor of the cabin. It will be full of gas when you arrive. There are also two canoes and a kayak at your disposal. You can also rent a motor boat from a friend. The wood adjacent the shed is only for the wood stove. There is a fire pit lakeside next to the dock. Guest Access2 canoes and a kayak. In addition a basic motor boat can be rented. Interaction with GuestsEither myself or a trusted friend will meet you when you arrive to help you get acquainted with the place. The NeighborhoodGrand lake stream is 45 minute drive.

We have a cottage for rent at Skiff Lake between Woodstock and Fredericton. It is located on the north side of the lake. When you reach the lake coming from Canterbury you turn left at the first road (McMullin Drive). The cottage has 3 bedrooms 2 upstairs and 1 down. It has one bathroom, small kitchen and living room downstairs. It has a large deck on the front of the cottage. It has a shed in the back of the cottage which houses a second fridge, washer and dryer (it basically off the back of the bathroom). We have a color tv and we also have satellite dish. The cottage property has a round drive way, large grassy area on the right side of the cottage and 180 feet of lake frontage. We have great swimming there because it is deep right in front of the cottage and shallow on the right end of the lot.

Our love for the great outdoors, the solitude, the miles of undeveloped shoreline, are things that we do not take for granted. The amazing wildlife, moose, deer, loons and eagles are just some of the things you will see while visiting. Whether it is kayaking, boating, canoeing or just finding the perfect cove or island for a picnic, you will find the lack of seeing boat after boat and bustling refreshing. In the evening sit back and relax by our lakeside fire pit on the swing. If this 7x2 mile lake is not enough to keep you busy and entertained you can also reach by boat, kayak or canoe another 11 lakes. Can be seen on Google Earth just type in the address bar Junior Lake Maine and it will take you to Boyce cove. Keywords: Private, cozy lakefront cabin. Relax, fish, swim, kayak, canoe, boat or hike.
