Hale Ho'omaha o Lānai is a Native Hawaiian owned and operated Bed & Breakfast cottage, permitted by Maui County on the island of Lāna'i. The proprietor has an intimate knowledge of the cultural and natural landscape of Lāna'i. In compliance with Maui County rules we can only allow one to two guests at a time since this is a one bedroom cottage, and out of respect to our neighbors. You may contact us for further information. Pursuant to Dept. of Health (DOH) regulations, Hale Ho'omaha o Lāna'i does not provide meals. We invite guests to walk around and explore Lāna'i City. We provide menus/brochures from various places on the island that guests may visit and enjoy. This cool and comfortable one bedroom guest cottage is located on a half acre of land on the island of Lāna'i. It is a short walk to Lāna'i City (2/10ths of a mile) the last historic plantation community in Hawaii. Microwave, small kitchen, 2-burner stove, small refrigerator-freezer, cooking utensils, dishes, linens, air conditioner, ceiling fans, cable television, secure wireless internet (code given upon check-in), outdoor uncovered patio. Inquire about use of a gas barbecue on property. As required by Maui County rules and regulations, Quiet Hours: 9:00 pm - 8:00 am. NO AMPLIFIED SOUND AT ALL TIMES. Designated parking is provided on property. Owner lives in main home on property. Until confirmed, rates are subject to change without notice. Inquire for a one-night stay. Three nights minimum is required on all major holidays and holiday weekends throughout the year, including special event weekends. Bed and Breakfast rental/property rules agreement must be completed, signed and received with payment prior to arrival (refer to rates). Cancellation Policy: No refund for cancellations 13 days or less of check-in date. 50% refund for cancellations made between 14 to 29 days before check-in date. 100% refund for cancellations 30 days or more before check-in date. Early Departures: While we sympathize with unforeseen circumstances, once you have checked in, the guest cottage is no longer available to rent therefore no refunds will be given.
