Lou. Guest AccessLou's Place is one of sixteen apartments in the complex.
It is situated on the ground floor. So limited mobility is no issue, nor is the safety of children - you do not have to access the apartment by any stairs inside or outside the apartment.
It is private accommodation and fully self contained.
There is a shared outdoor area just beside my apartment and shared clothes lines (one north and one south side of the building).
You are free to use the outdoor area as you please. It has a large table and plenty of space on the bench seats. Just a five minute walk north is a large barbeque and playground area. There is also a playground area across the southern side block.
Just a one hour drive north of Perth, Lancelin is a popular place for digging your toes in the sand, taking a swim, casting in a fishing line from the jetty or the beach, sand boarding, trail bikes and 4X4 driving in the dunes and all water sports - surfing, body boarding, sailboarding, windsurfing, snorkeling ...... Lancelin is well known for its annual Ledge Point to Lancelin Ocean Classic held in January, which draws enthusiasts from around the world.
Many choices of cafes, taverns and restaurants are on offer for sampling the local seafood, bakeries to tempt you, a nice cold drink in 'Australia's best beer garden' overlooking the bay, reefs and island. There are dine-in and take-away eateries to suit all occasions and palates. Your entertainment and choices of things to do and see will keep your holiday mood in swing.
On your way to the back beach for the big waves, stop and donate one of your double-pluggers to the thong tree - take a selfie while you are there!!
Or maybe a quick round of golf?
