The SpaceThis house was built with the sole purpose of relaxing near the beach. You can take advantage of this quiet location to get away from all the noise and distractions of the city. Guest AccessThe house has a BBQ that you can use. One of the bedrooms has an A/C and the other one has only a ventilator. It shouldn't be a problem since there´s a nice breeze in the beach area. Cellphone data coverage is a little bit sketchy in the area, but if you want to use Internet my recommendation would be to use Cable & Wireless Movil which is the carrier with the best signal there. There's no TV or Internet in the house at this moment. Interaction with GuestsI´m not regularly present at the premises since I live in Panama City, but my parents live in Las Tablas and they´ll be more than glad to assist in any need you may have. I´m reachable all the time via email or mobile phone and can assist you and provide tips if you need. Getting AroundThe best wat to get there is by taxi. You can call for one at (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). Sadly they don't speak english but just let me know if that's a problem and I can arrange to send one at the time you need. Other Things to NoteThe house has a brand new Washer. There's No Internet connection available at the moment.

The SpaceIf you like simplicity, the ocean, and relaxation, you will enjoy this space. This house was remodeled, with artesan windows, from old antque homes that have been destroyed over the years, it opens up to an ocean view, and a wooden deck, the beachfront property, in on a beautiful beach. THIS IS NOT A 5 STAR HOTEL! Its rustic and Unique for people who wan to get away from the city... Guest AccessAccess is a bit tricky, you must get to the town of Las Tablas first, then drive 15 minutes to Uverito Beach. If you are driving from Panama City, it is a 4 hour drive to Las Tablas. Interaction with GuestsI live in the city, 4 hours away, but have someone there hosting for anything you may need. The NeighborhoodThere are really nice neighbors, and quaint restaurants that sell the local sea food. There is also a fishing port 5 minutes away, and 20 minutes walking where you could buy fish and make it. I usually buy all the fresh seafood in the small town of Las Tablas, you find it on the main avenue. Getting AroundYou will need an automobile for this area of Panama. Other Things to NoteIt is important that you know, this a small town, and sometimes electricity may go out, as does the water. When we go, we stack up on water gallons, for cooking and drinking, and also in case the water may go. Also the deck is a bit high and not so safe for children-toddlers.

Enjoy Beach Life All Year Round in Panama at Uverito Beach! With the coming of fall, family and friends in Canada, U.S. and Europe find themselves thinking of the long, cold winter approaching. It's not just the ice and snow to cope with, but the enormous heating bills, and not being able to enjoy the outdoors. But not you...living in Panama you don't ever have a heating bill and you will never see snow. The great outdoors will be your playground all year round here in the Los Santos province on the Azuero Peninsula on the Pacific Ocean. And that includes being able to go to the beach anytime you want. Uverito Beach stretches 3.2 kilometers (2 miles) where most of the time all you'll see is an occasional beach walker or jogger out for their exercise. Most of the long beach has single family vacation homes and is populated by a good mix of expats and locals. The house is conveniently located just 10 minutes from the city of Las Tablas, and the city of Chitre is about 30 minutes to the north. This gives you access to shopping, healthcare, restaurants, and entertainment. Las Tablas is the capital of the Panamanian province of Los Santos, with a population of about 9,000. Las Tablas is a recognized national center of Panamanian folk: art, music, gastronomy, architecture, culture and literature. It is known for a lively yearly Carnival, in which the city splits into two competing factions, "Calle Arriba" (Uptown, literally "Street Above") and "Calle Abajo" (Downtown / Street Below), both centered on two streets of the same name. Each faction will have a carnival queen, a parade, fireworks, music, a decorated plaza, food stands, presentations, concerts, games, contests, etc., all attempting to overpower the other faction's efforts. The drive from the beach winds past farmland dotted with cattle and horses. If you feel like getting out on the water, you can go to the Port of Mensabe, a five minute drive around the corner from the house. Fishing is a major pastime and a number of fishing pangas can be contacted to go fishing. And if you feel like kicking back, local restaurants in rustic eateries serve fried fish and ceviche for a few dollars each. Add an ice-cold beer for a buck and you can't beat it. Uverito Beach is the go-to beach for families on weekends, holidays, and vacations, so it can be loud and crowded at times. But during the week the wide, flat, dark-sand beach is empty and it's a nice place to hang out with friends and family. The house is across the street from the beach with grassy access, a large covered patio/outdoor dining area, and hammock/rocking chairs to relax. The best time to reserve your stay...any time! So this winter, instead of dreading the weather, enjoy the coastline at Uverito Beach, relaxing on the beach, checking out Las Tablas, or heading out on the water.

The SpaceEnjoy Beach Life All Year Round in Panama at Uverito Beach! With the coming of fall, family and friends in Canada, U.S. and Europe find themselves thinking of the long, cold winter approaching. It's not just the ice and snow to cope with, but the enormous heating bills, and not being able to enjoy the outdoors. But not you - living in Panama you don't ever have a heating bill and you will never see snow. The best time to reserve your stay - any time! So this winter, instead of dreading the weather, enjoy the coastline at Uverito Beach, relaxing on the beach, checking out Las Tablas, or heading out on the water. Guest AccessYou will have access to the 2nd floor unit going up the stairs in the back of the house. You will have a private patio and outdoor dining area. Interaction with GuestsI'm always available by e-mail to answer any questions that you may have. If assistance is needed, I can contact my housekeeper to resolve any issues that may occur. The NeighborhoodThere are currently about 6 restaurants along the beach. The closest to the house is Rincon del Faro, which also has a pool that can be used by customers. The best food is located at Brisas del Pacifico on the other half of the beach. Getting AroundTaxis are available from Las Tablas to Uverito Beach for about $7. There is also a mini-van that makes its rounds to and from Las Tablas on a "regular" schedule for about $1.25. Other Things to NoteAbout a week before your stay, you will receive an email with a code for the combination lock that will be on the front gate. Inside the lock will be the keys to the house.

Just 10km from the town of Las Tablas where you can find supermarkets, stores and banks. Las Tablas is a quiet rural town and hosts several traditional festivals throughout the year. Playa Uverito is a safe swimming beach and great for taking long walks. During the week the beach is practically empty and you will have the place to yourself....however it can get pretty lively during local festivals and on Sundays when the locals head for the beach and to eat some fresh seafood at the little beachfront restaurants. December to April is dry season, our favourite time of year. A cool north wind blows, lowering the temperature and humidity alittle and blowing away any mosquitos! The ocean is rougher and fun for boogie boarding and great for kitesurfing and windsurfing!

The beach house has an absolutely amazing location, with daily sunrises over the ocean and sunsets off the back porch. The deck that overlooks the ocean is a spectacular place to spend your day, rocking on the hammock, eating your meals on the dining table, or reading a book in the rocking chair. The beach across the street is huge and empty most of the time. Children love playing in the tidal pools and collecting shells. The community of expats (email: hidden) in the area are all very welcoming and get together weekly for dinner at a local restaurant. Visiting the small town of Las Tablas, Panama is only 10 minutes away and Pedasi surfing and fishing are only a 30 minute drive. The porch and views are amazing and worth the trip!
