All the lovely detail from the original design in this building have been lovingly restored and adapted for contemporary living. No expense has been spared. It has every thing you need and more. The living room is uncluttered and very elegant. A comfortable sofa, an Eames chair with a footrest, a plasma Samsung TV (with Foxtel installed). There is white desk under the window; wide enough for use as your office if necessary. If you have guests the sofa converts to a queen size bed with a spring interior mattress. The bedroom is divided from the living room by bifold doors. There is a sumptuous queen bed. There is a hanging rail for your garments and an abundance of shelving for your other clothes. The tiled bathroom is new, modern and stylish, a walk in shower, toilet and washbasin. The laundry is here as well, a Bosch front-loader washing machine a Fisher and Paykel drier. The dine in kitchen is fully equipped with a gas cooktop and oven, All equipment is here including a dishwasher a Nespresso machine is for your coffee. All the kitchen utensils, tableware and bed linen that you will need are supplied. The dining table has upholstered bench window seating and an extendable dining table that can seat up to 7. The apartment has recently been fully renovated with heated travertine floors, Caesarstone benchtops and luxury appointments.       The SpaceThe apartment at Hepburn Court is on the fourth floor with lift access and has lovely views of the local neighbourhood and North Sydney skyline (please note that the apartment does not have Sydney harbour views). It is an older style character apartment with high ceilings and furnished in a contemporary style. The bedroom has french doors opening onto a north facing landing, with a queen bed with extra comfortable memory foam matress. The apartment faces northeast and is sun drenched in the mornings, and this orientation has the added benefit of fully capturing the cooling afternoon seabreezes in summer. Guest AccessGuests will have full access to the apartment except for the second bedroom. Interaction with GuestsI will be travelling during the available dates so I will not be staying or sharing at the apartment (ie guests have full use of the apartment). The NeighborhoodLavender Bay was recently ranked the most livable suburb in all of Sydney, and it's easy to see why. Discovering the city of Sydney from this peaceful oasis is a breeze. My suggested top 10 things to do while staying at Hepburn Court are: 1. Cross the street and spend a lazy afternoon in Clark Park and Wendy Whiteley's Garden while overlooking stunning Sydney Harbour. 2. Walk across the Sydney Harbour Bridge to The Rocks while taking in breathtaking views of one of the most beautiful cities in the world. 3. Get some great food or a coffee in the nearby villages of Kirribilli or McMahons Point. 4. Browse the local markets in Kirribilli (every second weekend). 5. Be a big kid for a day and go to nearby Luna Park. 6. Get takeaway fish & chips in Kirribilli and dine in Bradfield Park while taking in the picture perfect postcard views of the city skyline. 7. Swim at North Sydney Olympic Pool and gaze up at the awe inspiring Harbour Bridge while you splash around. 8. Get the train to Central Station and walk to the hipster haven of Surry Hills. 9. Get the ferry to Circular Quay and see a show at the Opera House or a movie at the Opera Quays Cinema. 10. Get the ferry to Darling Harbour and on the way get a great view of the massive Barangaroo urban development project under construction. Located in one of Sydney's best kept secret suburbs - the apartment has private water access and 2 kayaks to explore the harbour in a unique way. Sitting on the balcony or at the bottom of the garden - you could quite easily forget the hustle and bustle of the city is less the 10 mins away by ferry! Interaction with GuestsYou will be greeted by someone with the keys to let you in and answer any questions you have. After this we are contactable for anything at all but will not bother you during your stay. The NeighborhoodMcMahons Point is full of great coffee shops, little bars and pubs and a huge range of restaurants with Italian, Thai, Modern Australian and others on the menu. Getting AroundNorth Sydney station is a 10 minute walk up the road but we suggest using the ferry which is a 7 minute trip into circular quay and the opera house or bus to get around. Other Things to NoteThere is a shared washing machine in the laundry downstairs - and lots of space to hang clothes. We would like to note that the kitchen - although full size with 4 gas burners, a microwave, dishwasher and oven. There are some quirks - for example to open the oven fully one must open the dishwasher first due to the dishwasher knob sticking out.

It features a 40-inch Smart TV, DVD player, stereo (including iPod doc and vintage record player), large timber dining table (extends to seat 8), a sofa bed and futon. We have an eclectic collection of vinyl, CDs, books and DVDs. We hope your tastes will intersect with ours but feel free to bring your own! The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped to cook up a storm, including a large selection of cookbooks, gas stovetop/oven, microwave and dishwasher. We've also built a bench which is a great spot to perch for brekkie or a glass of wine while preparing dinner. The kitchen also houses a combination washer-dryer.
