The SpaceThe pond house is a serene little getaway studio on the Mill Pond at Mendocino Magic. Queen sized bed as well as a twin daybed, full bath and kitchenette. Great destination for couples for the weekend, and your stay includes use of the kayaks and paddles on the property's private reservoir, and miles of hiking trails. Guest AccessGuests will be able to access the pond house by entering the property's front gate, slowly proceeding to the Pond House on the left, and entering using a hidden key with further instructions available after booking. The small Pond House is entirely yours, and on the property you'll be able to access the lake, trails and kayaking and catch and release fishing. Interaction with GuestsMost of the time you should be able to interact with host Mackenzie or one of Mendocino Magic's helpful crew. These people can usually be found at the Stage House and Workshop. The NeighborhoodLaytonville is a quirky little town and it's really fun! There are several bars and restaurants to visit; we recommend Boomers on the 101 as they feature black and white images of the property in the 1940s when it was a working lumber mill. Getting AroundRecommend driving here. Amtrak offers a bus route which can pick up and drop off in laytonville. Other Things to NotePlease remember smoke only where designated, no fires unless it's in a pit which is already established and overseen by the management. Please drive no faster than 5 mph on these dusty country roads as kids and animals are at play and the dust ruins a good time.
