The SpaceOur condo is perfect for enjoying magestic views of the mountains while being in a remodeled, clean and comfortable space.
PLEASE NOTE: AirBnB doesn't have the functionality to set a minimum stay for certain periods, but in August, we require a minimum stay of 7 nights. Guest AccessYou will have access to the entire condo during your stay. The condo is on the 4th floor of the building. While the first elevator in the state of Colorado was originally installed in this building, it is no longer in use. You will need to walk the stairs.
As of 10.15 we have internet in the unit for your convenience. We do have lots of movies and a DVD player, and access to Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime (if you have an account) through the TV. However, we do not have cable TV in the unit.
Also, all of the beds pictured are in one room as it is a one bedroom condo. Interaction with GuestsWe are happy to connect with you via phone and email to make sure that you have everything that you need to plan and enjoy your stay. The NeighborhoodThe house is a couple blocks off of Harrison (the main street), two blocks from the Mineral Belt Trail, and several blocks from the finish of the LT100.
In the Winter: Leadville is uniquely positioned among some of this country's best skiing. Ski Cooper is within a 15 minute drive and is an affordable and fabulous mountain for kids to learn on, Copper Mountain is 25 minutes away, and Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, and Arapahoe Basin are all within a 45 minute drive from Leadville. Locally, you can enjoy great cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, fantastic snowmobiling, and a local sledding hill for the kids (with snow making). An outdoor skating rink with unparalleled views is only blocks away.
In the Summer: Discover why Leadville and Colorado's Upper Arkansas River Valley is a focal point for outdoor recreation. Whether you are into hiking, biking, fly fishing, 2- or 4-wheeling, exploring old ghost towns or simply relaxing, you can find it all here. Trailheads for the 2nd and 3rd tallest mountains in the U.S., Mt. Elbert and Mt. Massive, are only minutes away. The country’s best whitewater rafting and fly fishing can be found on the Arkansas River and nearby tributaries. Escape the summer heat in a place where temperatures rarely hit 80 degrees. Getting AroundThere is a bus that runs from Leadville to Copper and that connects with the Summit County public transport center. Getting around town is very easy on foot!
