The SpaceNortheastern Connecticut has a quiet heritage known as "The Last Green Valley", there are things to do, and history embedded in unlikely places. Getting here is by car, bus and train service sparse. This part of Connecticut is not overtly touristic. It is three hours to NYC, 2 to Boston, a half hour or one hour to ocean beaches, a quick hour to the Connecticut River Valley. There are many things to do, but you need to drive a bit to get to them.
