With patio doors opening out into the large family friendly garden, this property enjoys pretty views across the vineyard and open woodland. The cottage has been refurbished to the highest standard and provides guests with modern amenities in luxury fully heated accommodation, situated in the heart of the beautiful Kent countryside. Comfortably sleeps up to six adults in flexible accommodation with one kingsize and two additional bedrooms which have the option of either twin or kingsize beds. The Patio doors from the sitting room lead directly onto a paved seating area with extensive views over the surrounding countryside with steps leading to a large family friendly garden. There is a small garden to the front of the cottage and parking is available for three cars.

The cottage is approached along a private drive (shared with Keepers House) and has parking for one car.       The SpaceSet in a quiet country lane with fields at the front and back but still close to amenities. Two private deluxe double rooms one with basin. The rooms are exclusive to one couple, family or friends as there is only one bathroom. Comfy beds with Egyptian cotton sheets, cotton waffle robes and tea & coffee facilities. Hairdryer in each bedroom. The owners are on the first floor providing guests with complete privacy. Take a stroll to the Green at Bearsted (15 minutes) where you will find two pubs. Or 5 minute drive to Hollingbourne and try The Dirty Habit Pub which is very popular with our guests. David & I look forward to welcoming you soon. Guest AccessConservatory, deck and large garden. The hosts have their own accommodation/bathroom on the first floor which ensures the guests privacy. The NeighborhoodBearsted is one of the prettiest villages in Kent, it has a green where cricket has been played for over a 100 years. Two pubs/restaurants and a fantastic Fish restaurant are situated on the Green. There are 3 golf courses within 1 mile. Leeds Castle is also 1 mile away. The Channel tunnel is only 30 minutes away. For other attractions look my guide book. Getting AroundTrain to London is just over an hour. We are close to junction 8, M20. Channel Tunnel 30minutes. The local bus service stop is 2 minutes from the cottage at the top of the lane. A choice of taxis services. Using motor connections we are 1hour from Gatwick, 1.5hrs Heathrow & Stansted. The ports of Dover & Folkestone are within 1 hours drive. Bearsted Train Station is a 20minute walk or 5 minute drive; connects to London, Canterbury or the coast. Canterbury is 45 minute drive. Other Things to NoteWe have a 5 Star food & hygiene certificate and delight in providing our guests with a delicious breakfast. We have a cat called Cleo who is part Siamese. She is a timid cat but very friendly. We do not allow smoking or pets. We would be delighted to welcome children over 12 years old.

      Nestled at the foot of the North Downs on the outskirts of Maidstone, our six acre smallholding offers you the chance to relax, to enjoy life at a slower pace, while you admire the stunning views from your private patio, watch the wildlife in the flower garden or take a wander along the Pilgrim’s Way. We welcome families and dogs and less agile visitors will discover that Willow cottage really is disabled guest friendly. Just a ten minute walk from the nearest station at Harrietsham, Stable Oak is conveniently placed to visit restaurants, historic attractions, towns and picturesque villages. If the shopping urge takes you, the retail centres at Ashford and Bluewater are less than an hour away and Royal Tunbridge Wells, Canterbury, Whitstable and, of course, London are all within easy reach. Our two bedroom Willow cottage is wonderful for families or disabled guests. The open plan accommodation is warm and welcoming and has been given 4 Stars with a Gold Award by the British Tourism Board. The well equipped kitchen has the bonus of a fridge and a washing machine and the comfortable sitting area has a television with DVD and Freeview. A telephone and Wi-Fi access is also provided for your convenience and the sleeping arrangements can easily be adapted to your needs. The double bedroom can feature either a comfortable 6ft double bed or be transformed into two good-sized single beds. The bunk beds in the second bedroom are brilliant for children. The large wet room is easily accessible and hand rails are provided for your assistance. Wheelchairs can move about the cottage with ease and a ramp leads you straight to the front door. A ramp also leads out onto your private patio where the changing landscape of the North Downs, BBQ equipment and seating await. There is also a good possibility that you will find a friendly animal or two.           The Lodge may at first appear a simple cabin but nothing has been left to chance in this cosy. luxurious and stylish retreat. Tucked away at the end of a quiet cul de sac in a secluded corner of the garden, next to 16 acres of the Bearsted woodland trust, it is guaranteed to refresh your body and soul. Located in one of Maidstone in Kent's oldest roads, neighbouring buildings used to provide accommodation to pilgrims on their travels to Canterbury in medieval times. Perfect for anyone looking to get away from it all and for those looking for something different, the quirky interior of the Lodge is an eclectic mix of vintage and modern. It offers a romantic hideaway, with exclusive use of the traditional cedar wood hot tub jacuzzi directly outside your door, and a mezzanine sleeping area in the double height roof where you can star watch in bed, listening to the local owls. The Lodge is down the road from the award winning Orangery in Maidstone for visitors coming to celebrate a local wedding.
