The SpaceOur Airbnb guest/s will stay in a private bedroom furnished with two twin beds.
Of course, sheets and comforters are provided. Besides the twin beds, there is also a small desk that is wide enough to lay down your pair of eye glasses, and just enough space to work on your laptop or any other electronic device.
There are two chairs; one of which is like a lounging chair.
The drawer and the closet are for our guests to store their clothes and other items. The television set is only for DVD viewing.
There is no cable for you to watch TV shows, although I may consider furnishing one in the future.
There is an alarm clock, some clothes hangers, ironing board, flat iron, and a basket of travel magazines. Feel free to use these items.
The bonus is; an attached bath/sink/toilet right inside the bedroom. Hence, our very important guests will have their own bath & shower, sink & mirror, and toilet. Some basic toiletries are ready for grab, so feel free to use just incase you forgot to bring your own stuff. You may also use the towels in the bathroom.
Guests are welcome to store food or beverage in the fridge, but limit to few or small items only. Our fridge is not big. Guest AccessThe entire house has a centralized air conditioning and heating system. It is already set up in comfortable temperature. Please do not change the settings. Thank you! :))
If you need to do laundry, the washer and dryer are okay to use for a minimal fee of $1.00 per load. Just drop your payment in the box provided.
The Wi-Fi password is typed on a piece of paper. It's in the small table drawer.
Feel free to grab a (complimentary) bottle of water, bagels, and some fruits (apples, bananas or whatever is in season) from the fridge before you check out. It will get you through when hunger pang strikes! ;-) Interaction with GuestsConversations over a fresh brewed coffee and (store-bought) scones is a delight! So, when you smell the fragrance of a brewing coffee from your room, come on down! :) The NeighborhoodThere are four Nat'l Parks near my town -- the Yosemite Nat'l Park, the Sequoia Nat'l Park, the Kings Canyon Nat'l Park, and the Pinnacles National Park. All these four parks are about 2 hours away from my house via car.
Have I mentioned yet that the Raisin Capital of the World is just a few miles drive from your "Your Room Away From Home" (YRAFH).
Not very many nightlife opportunities in my town because we live in a rural community where farms and dairy lands dominate the area.
We take pride of our town's very own ice cream parlor that has been existing for 80 plus years -- The Superior Dairy! This ice cream shop is famous in the entire Kings County.
Both chain and family-owned restaurants although not a lot, our guests will have at least a few to choose from when they struck with hunger.
The nearest grocery store from my house is 1/4 mile away by car.
Target Store, Super Wal-Mart, Kohl's just to name a few are chain shopping stores with in a mile or less away from Getting AroundThe Amtrak train station is a mile a way from our house. I can give a ride to/from the station if you'll let me know ahead of time. There are public bus transportation in my town. The bus stop however is about four blocks away from my house. It is quite a walk.
If you're driving a car, please park on the far right of our driveway. Other Things to NoteI am a stay at home momma, so if you have any question, I am here the entire time, unless I need to run some errands.
Located upstairs of the house is your room. So, yes, our guest/s will need to climb a staircase to get there.
