The SpaceThe house has a kitchen for any gourmet cook with all pots and pans, glassware, dishes, serving platters, utensils, electric oven/stove, fridge, microwave, toaster oven, toaster, gas BBQ. The living room has a large dining area and is extra spacious with plenty of cozy furniture to relax. There are 5 bedrooms and 6 beds that will sleep comfortably 11 people. There are three bathrooms, two of which are private. The two suites have a sitting area and own TV in their room. The living room has a large screen TV and access to hosts large collection of movies. Great outdoor gardens surround the B&B and you are just a stroll away from the Red Roof Art Studio. Guest Access1000 sq ft. living room and the rest of the house. Interaction with GuestsWe live right next door if there is any need for help. You have all the privacy you want. The NeighborhoodYou are a ten minute walk cross country from Rock lake where you can boat, bird watch, fish or swim. A 15 min. drive from the city of Brooks for restaurants, shopping etc. Lake Newell is just past Brooks for your beach and swimming fun in the summer. Dinosaur Park is a world heritage site just 30 minutes down the road from us. Staying home allows for a peaceful quiet restful stay. The home is set on a 10 acre beautifully landscaped estate with a straw bale build studio a stroll away, where you can enroll in a photography or painting workshop offered for a weekend or week. Getting AroundWe are 1 1/2 hr drive SE of Calgary airport. #1 hwy East to just before Brooks. Turn North on #36 hwy. First T intersection after 7 km turn right on #544 hwy. We are 1 km. from that intersection on the right hand site. Sign will say Red Roof B&B and Studio Other Things to NoteHunting in the fall is very popular and hunters are welcome. There is bird watching in spring and summer or a trip to the Badlands. The Red Deer River makes for a great canoe trip to and through the Badlands to Dinosaur park. Art or photography workshops are available upon request.

The SpaceVery spacious comfortable living room (which used to be my art studio) open to kitchen and 5 separate bedrooms that are to be booked individually. (2)Suite @ $120, (2)Queen @ $100, and (1) Single $85. 3 bathrooms. The entire home is available for $550 (In weekly or monthly rate rental there is no breakfast included) yet can be arranged. Guest AccessThe entire house can be rented just for you and your company. Gas BBQ outside. Or if you just like one suite or room there might be other guests. The owners live separate in their studio next door. Interaction with GuestsA little stroll through the lanes of trees will get you to our studio where we live. We will make your breakfast and clean up. The rest of the day you have the space to yourself. Unless you like to make your own breakfast we will not be present. The NeighborhoodQuiet country living in a well treed beautiful yard. Go for a stroll at night and meet our friendly pets or see the straw bale build studio next door to see or sign up for a photography or art experience. In winter we have concerts once a month. A large irrigation lake is just a 10 minute walk away where you can fish, boat or bird-watching . We are 40 minutes from Dinosaur park and 15 min. from the City of Brooks. The SpaceThis is private room with a queen sized bed, desk, office chair, rocker/recliner chair and bookshelf. Attached to the bedroom is a one-piece ensuite. Ensuite has a sink and large counter surface. Just outside the bedroom is a shared washroom with sink, toilet, and bathtub/shower. Guests may freely use our kitchen as well as any of our appliances, utensils or dishes. All we ask is that you clean up after yourself; we do have a dishwasher to make your job easier. We also have a larger storage freezer in case you need extra space for freezing. We provide clean linens and towels as well as toiletries upon request. If you need to do laundry, a washer and dryer and detergent are available for your use as well. Interaction with GuestsWhen we are home we enjoy meeting and getting to know guests. We allow guests to stay at our home when we are away which of course means we have no interactions with our guests other than correspondences. The NeighborhoodWe're very close to the main road through Lethbridge, Mayor Magrath Drive. We are a very short walk to inexpensive or expensive restaurants in town. There are also major bus stops that are about a block away. There is a grocery store about 9 blocks away. Our street is pretty quiet given its proximity to Mayor Magrath Drive. Other Things to NoteGuests should know that we have two children. A three year old daughter and a baby born in July 2015. Both sleep well through the night.

The SpaceHas a private bathroom next to the guest room for guest use only. The guest room is on the lower level and can fit up to two people comfortably. In the summer when temperatures are hot outside the room is comfortably cool and in the winters it is comfortably warm. Guest AccessAccess to wifi, laundry and kitchen during normal meal times, BBQ and back yard. I provide a light breakfast but cannot accomodate dietary restrictions. Owner's bedrooms and bathroom on upper level are off limits. Interaction with GuestsI will be working during the day but at home most evenings Monday - Friday. On weekends we are more available. The NeighborhoodI love the green spaces within walking distance and the number of parks close by. I love how close the grocery store is as well as other shopping areas (pubs, banks, pizza place, convenience store, gas station, drug store). While you are here, you MUST experience a walk in the nearby coulees or down in a protected wetland. Getting AroundBus stop to the University (transfer station) is a 7 min walk to get to. Vehicle parking is allowed on the driveway or street. Our location is close to the University that has all bus connections. Other Things to NoteI have a nice, enclosed back yard with a deck, lounging chairs, patio set and BBQ that you are welcome to use.

        The SpaceThe room is in a quiet NE corner of my house and the bathroom with shower and tub is right next door. The room gets the morning sun but there are room darkening shades on the windows if you prefer the dark for sleeping. the furniture is antique but is comfortable and cozy. Wifi is available. Guest AccessYou enter my home by the front door which goes directly to the bedroom and bath. If you are staying several days a key will be made available so you have access to your room whenever. You may also use the deck in the backyard and enjoy the view of my garden if you are visiting in the summer months. The NeighborhoodMy area is heavily treed and is a quiet residential area with no crime. The homes were generally built in the 1950's but are well-kept and most are updated. It is a popular residential area with the lake and park and walking trails. The lake is two blocks from my home. Access to downtown and the major N/S thoroughfare of Mayor Magrath Drive is only blocks away. Residents are most often elderly but there are some new couples moving in. Getting AroundThe bus stop is 1 block away and will take you downtown for connections to the Westside, University and to the north side of Lethbridge. The bus runs on 20 minute intervals. Driving to any of the locals is easy as the major routes are only blocks away - the east/west highway (#3), 6 Ave which goes by downtown and to West Lethbridge and University. Mayor Magrath Drive which goes North/South through Lethbridge has malls and big box stores at its South and North end and connects to the routes south to the USA and to Cardston and Waterton Park. It is Super easy to go anywhere in town from my home in a matter of minutes. Other Things to NoteHenderson Lake and Park is a short 2 block walk away. There are walk/run paths around the lake and a golf course on the opposite side of the lake. Downtown is minutes away and so is Park Place Mall which is also in the downtown area. Movie Theatres are in the mall. Access to Highway 3 is 2 blocks from my home. The N/S thoroughfare of Mayor Magrath Drive is 4 blocks away and this road takes you to the Big Box stores and shopping centres like WalMart; Costco; Superstore and Home Depot and Lowes. Again only 5-7 minutes away from my home.

        The SpaceOur apartment is a spacious, and bright basement suite in a large Lethbridge home. It is close to downtown shopping, parks, and public transit. Guest AccessThere is full access to a private kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bathroom. There is also shared access to a washer and dryer with the tenants upstairs. There is also a private entrance, and spaces for up to 3 cars in the driveway. There is also a small shed, and a full back yard with a firepit. Interaction with GuestsWe will not be present during your stay, so you have full privacy. However, we will be available to contact on a daily basis, and there will be somebody there to greet you, and assist you if you need anything. The NeighborhoodThe house is located in the London Road neighbourhood. It is a 4 minute walk to the downtown, and a 1 minute walk to the coulee. Several parks are located within a couple of blocks, a tennis court, and an Urban Grocer nearby which stocks local icecream, and other organic produce. Getting AroundThere is a bus stop located outside our front door, and is a bicycle friendly area. Bikes may be available upon request. The house is also close to Scenic Drive, a main artery.         The SpaceWalk in to a cozy entry way with plenty of space for coats and shoes. A few steps down the hardwood staircase leads you to a spacious bedroom equiped with a double bed and crib, while talking the staircase up takes you to a living area, complete with a vaulted ceiling, two full lenth couches, and a 47" plasma TV. Help yourself to the apple TV and our netflix account, an assortment of DVDs, or a classic piece of literature. As you continue on, you'll find a kitchen area fully stocked with appliances/ odds and ends and a dinning area with seating for 6. Adjacent, is the master bedroom, bathroom, and smaller bedroom. A doorway just past the dining area leads out to a covered deck and bbq area. Stairs provide access down to the backyard where you are welcome to enjoy the trampoline, sitting area, and chiminea fireplace. Guest AccessThe entire house is yours to explore other than a smaller storage area and the entryway to our basement suite. These areas are marked for your convenience. Interaction with GuestsWe will be absent during your stay but are usually just a phone call away should you need anything. The NeighborhoodWe love to visit the many parks within walking distance ofh our doorstep Getting AroundThere is space for two vehicles in the driveway and public transit is just around the courner from us (about a two min. walk).         The SpaceThere is a deck with a bbq and a hammock for relaxing on those warm summer nights. If you need to get caught up on some paperwork there is a desk upstairs that is private and quiet that may be used. There is a large LED TV with cable and free wifi as well as apple tv for netflix. The house backs onto a field with a playground, basketball courts and walking paths. The neighbourhood is very family orientated. Boston Pizza, grocery store, liquor store, gas station,drug store just opened! Currently being built is a waterpark and twin hockey arenas! These are all within a two minute drive! Aside from those, all of your amenities are within a 5 minute drive! Any further questions, don't hesitate to ask!         The SpaceMy home was built in the 1950's and is a Grama-style home. It has a reputation for being cozy, quiet and peaceful. Each guest that comes into my home says the same thing. The queen sized bed is comfortable and has an excellent quality mattress. No one ever complains about not sleeping because of a poor mattress or noise. Most say they slept well. Guest AccessThe room in located off my rumpus room in a quiet corner on the lower floor of my home and has a bathroom adjacent to the bedroom with a Jacuzzi tub and shower. You enter the bedroom through the backdoor and then go downstairs and through the rumpus room . The queen-sized bed is very comfortable and WiFi is available. Interaction with GuestsI have lived in Lethbridge for 50 years so know it well and will assist you with any information about activities and locations you may want to visit. I will be in the home most of the time you are visiting so will be available to assist. I am quiet and bit shy so I will likely show you to your room and then leave to do your own thing, but if you require anything just ask. The NeighborhoodThe area I live in is beautiful with older homes and lots of trees. I live 2 blocks from Henderson Lake which has walking paths and picnic facilities and often has activities happening on holidays. The concession is open in the summer. The Japanese Tea house and garden is also located at one end of the Lake and a golf course is on the other side of the lake. I am located in South Lethbridge so am just minutes away from downtown and the Park Place Mall. The main drag (Mayor Magrath Drive)is located just 4 blocks away and will connect you with all the malls on the far south side of Lethbridge in minutes ( Walmart, Costco, SuperStore and smaller shops) and a great selection of restaurants and fast food vendors. You can get anywhere in Lethbridge from my home within 3 to 10 minutes depending on traffic. The main highway (#3) is 3 blocks away and you can access it readily so access to my home from the main highway into town is a breeze. Getting AroundThe bus-stops are 1 block away and will take you downtown quickly. You can transfer from there to any location in the city. Taxis are also quickly available and Enterprise car rental is very close to my home. Other Things to NoteI own a small Yorkie who is very friendly and will insist on meeting you. He is well mannered and quiet except when the postman comes or the doorbell rings. Yorkies are known as non allergenic and do not shed hair. He is not allowed in the bedroom when unoccupied and comes in only by invitation is someone is staying in the room. I also have two tanks of fish in the rumpus room. One tank has two large parrot fish and a plecostomus. The other tank has a calico, a black moor and a gold fantail. The sound of the water falling through the filters is very restful. I have just rescued a very shy female tortoise shell cat. She is 9 years old and is very beautiful. I doubt you will see much of her as she will hide. She is not allowed in the bedroom so you will not experience cathair anywhere in your bedroom.
