The SpaceThis home can best be described as a unique combo of rustic and utilitarian. It has a quaint kitchenette with a full stove top/oven. Open dining space and small chill space with chairs, tv, and dvd player. It's a little quirky with it's odd spaces, but it is cozy just the same. Brand new half-bath, with a flexible hand shower, making bathing Fido after a hike easy-peasy. Large bedroom with queen bed has great views of the Androscoggin and catches the sunset over the water. It gets frequent sightings of Hot Air Balloons late summer through late Fall. The smaller room with a cozy twin bed receives beautiful morning light. Guest AccessYou will have private access to the entire home. Interaction with GuestsWe have another home in the area we visit on weekends. If you need assistance and we aren't immediately available, we have family in the region ready to assist. The NeighborhoodA unique cul-de-sac style community has low traffic and kind neighbors. Breakfast : You must go to Forage Market for bagels and coffee! The bagels are made in house and were recently featured in Down East magazine. Rolly's Diner is delish and has a fun atmosphere, they serve breakfast and lunch. Lunch/Dinner: Rails has some great locally sourced options and an extensive beer menu. Fishbones is a more upscale option of classic American fare. Gritty's has in-house made beer and classic pub fare. My favorite menu item is the pork fries (shredded pork on sweet fries with cheese and maple sour cream...., nom, nom, nom) Getting AroundOur parking option easily handles four vehicles. Other Things to NoteThe neighborhood is very dog friendly, most have fenced yards. Please walk your dog on a leash on our property, don't let them run loose. You can tether outside while hanging out, but do NOT leave the dog out all day. If you go out, please secure your pet comfortably in the house.
