The house is spacious, bright and freshly refurbished. It is in Leyton, in trendy East London with great access to the main London attractions and airports. 18 minutes to Central London on the Central line 10 minutes to the O2 arena on Jubilee line 5 minutes to the Olympic Park and Westfield shopping center, the largest shopping center in Europe (one stop on the Central Line, 15 minutes bus ride) Fast access to the M25, M11, M1, Stansted airport, Luton airport, City airport and Gatwick airport. Close to amenities, restaurants, pubs, supermarkets, bus, train and tube The house comprises an entrance hall (very bright, large mirror) a through lounge/dining room 1 kitchen 1 bathroom/WC 2 bedrooms 1 study 1 utility room with washing machine, iron and iron board 60ft square garden with hammock, parasol, furniture and BBQ Guests are not expected to make full use of the kitchen but can make toasts, snacks and tea/coffee. The SpaceSimple room to rent in a lovely first floor Victorian period flat Welcome to my home; I am currently renting a spare room in my apartment which would suit a single traveller, friends travelling together or a couple! There is free wifi, fresh linen, plenty of hot water, washing machine, a gorgeous sunny south facing garden and a fully functioning kitchen which you are welcome to use :) The apartment is very much my home and as such you'll get a warm welcome and enjoy all the comforts and mod cons that you would in your own place. I'm a true Londoner and am happy to share my love of the city with you by recommending many the cool places to visit as all the great places to hunt out in the new cultural and fashion heart of town - the East End! The photos of the property are all recently taken so you can get an idea of the place - lovely garden and all the rooms contain many of the original features, including victorian fireplaces and sash windows in each room. The room contains a brand new guest bed that can be extended into a king for 2 persons. It also has shelves, hangers for clothes, a beautiful Edwardian mirror, sash window, original fireplace, chair, bedside table and lamp - cosy and neat! My apartment is peacefully located just a 10 mins walk from the nearest tube station (Leyton on the central line), but only a stones throw from the heart of London and one stop from the Olympic Park and the brand new Westfield Stratford City, which has lots of shops, restaurants, and entertainment (multi-screen cinema, bowling, etc.). The apartment itself however is situated in a quiet residential street, with a small local parade of shops just opposite. Main shops, shops, ATM, restaurants, pubs all within a 10 minute walk. Amenities: Fresh bed linen including towels Broadband Wifi Oven and hob Microwave Shower and Bath Hairdryer Tea and coffee facilities South facing garden Also extremely close to the City and therefore would suit business travellers. This apartment is my home, rather than a serviced apartment so it has a relaxed look and feel. This property is suitable for family, couples or groups. The neighbourhood is safe; quiet and clean. Guests are also welcome to use the kitchen and lounge area. there is also a reasonable back garden and a free front parking area. Take one bus or drive to the Olympic stadium which is approx 6 minutes away or if you prefer you can walk 15/20 minutes.     This serene and great one bedroom apartment is perfectly located in the inner city suburb of the Westfield Stratford and the Olympic village. The high ceiling spacious apartment is a gorgeous example of a restored Victorian terrace, and is a lovely retreat for your holiday or a business trip, as well as excellent family/group accommodation. It sleeps maximum of 6 people, it is a serene place to wind down after a hectic day’s sightseeing. It is a fully self contained home, has a great bed room with real double bed and sofa bed/futon. It has also a functional and delightful sunroof kitchen, comfortable lounge and entertaining living space with two sofa beds/futons and an outdoor area which is ideal for a travelling executive, romantic couple or a family seeking home away from home feel. It will also suit anyone requiring easy access to the city, sightseeing or looking to have access to Europe’s biggest shopping centre and nearby attractions. Amenities in the apartment includes, fully fitted kitchen, uninterrupted wireless internet, digital flat screen TV, modern shower and a bicycle available.     The SpaceSpacious 1 bedroom 1st floor apartment sleeping up to 4 (one double bed and one sofa bed) in a quiet street only a walking distance of 7-9 minutes from LEYTON UNDERGROUND station and 3 mins train(tube) to Stratford Olympic City, boasting Europe's largest Westfield Shopping Mall with over 300 shops, 70 cafes/bars/restaurants, 5000 car parking space, 17 screen 3D Vue cinema 14 lane bowling alley and UK's largest casino. The bedroom is bright and fresh with one real double bed with drawers, wardrobe, small chest of drawers and two bedside tables . There are also international adapters for your use. The living area is my favourite room with 2 comfy sofas (one of which is a leather sofabed) and 1 armchair. Large kitchen with small white table and four chairs, fridge, cooker, washing machine, microwave, toaster, kettle and blender, plates, cups, pots and pans etc and everything required to cook your daily meals. Kitchen leads off onto a balcony with table, chairs and bench where you can watch beautiful sunsets and sunrises during the warmer months. This home is next door to a convenience store and pharmacy and a short stroll to park and tube station. There is also a gym opposite the station and also a community centre that provides pilates, yoga, and zumba lessons throughout the week and w/end. Along my road there is also a wine bar (Yardarm) and restaurant (Marmelo) serving healthy meals and wine along with fish and chip shop and take away pizza and other small convenience stores. At the other end of my road is the local pub (Northcote Arms) where various activities are on offer such as pub quiz, drag cabaret and serving wood fired pizza Thurs-Sun nights. By train Leyton is only 3 mins from Stratford and 11 mins from the City of London, 14 minutes from Canary Wharf and 22 minutes from the West End. There is a cab company beside my station which costs about £6 from Stratford should you have a lot of shopping to carry. Stratford is convenient to all four airports and is within easy reach. Taxi drop-off points and a regional bus interchange are on hand. Stratford has a huge intersection of trains and tubes going in all directions and is a central point for train transfers and routes into the city and out of it. Guest AccessYou have access to everything except the hallway cupboard and drawers in living room where I store a few of my personal belongings but don't worry, there's plenty of storage space for you in bedroom :)). There is limited parking on the street which is highlighted by marked white painted boxes which cars can park in at any time. This is subject to availability at the time. The corner shop next door is open until 8.45pm but there are other convenience stores along Francis rd open until at least 11.30pm Interaction with GuestsI will be here to greet you and will be available to talk to over the phone or sometimes in person if you need any help. Most of the time, I will be staying nearby The NeighborhoodI love that I have a convenience store next door as it's very handy and iis like having my very own store room cupboard. The shop keepers are really friendly too. They open 8am to 8.45pm. There's another convenience store 2 min away open until 11.30pm/12am also. I also have a pharmacy and Doctors next door. I also love that I'm close to a beautiful park and very very close (7 mins walk) to the Train Station. I'm 3 MINS on the TRAIN to STRATFORD OLYMPIC STADIUM and Queen Elizabeth OLYMPIC PARK which has recently opened to the public with 24 hour access to events 7 days per week and WESTFIELD (LARGEST SHOPPING MALL IN EUROPE). I love also that there is a GYM opposite the station and a YOUTH CENTRE 2 mins walk away for my BOXING or PILATES lessons. Getting AroundBuses and trains about five to nine min walk away. Very conveniently located. On central line too which is perfect Other Things to NoteMy cat lives here who comes as part of the deal so this is for cat lovers who are happy feeding her during your stay. I provide the food and she does not poop indoors. I just ask that you love her as I do. Please advise if you require cleaning service during your stay. Parties or loud music at night are NOT permitted at this property. Smoking only on balcony please and no red wine near living room rug :S

    The SpaceWelcome to my home it is situated in a quiet tree lined residential street, in Leyton, East London. I am a teacher who likes to spend the holidays travelling. I would love to let you make my home yours. I have recently repainted the entire flat, as you can see from the pictures it is a warm home with lots of character. Both bedrooms have comfortable double beds. I will leave fresh linen and towels for your stay. There is a brand new washing machine. The kitchen is fully equipped and I am happy for you to use all the facilities. The gorgeous sunny south facing garden is my favourite place to have breakfast. You are also most welcome to use the BBQ, (and there is a large round outdoor table) to make the most of the garden. Leyton Underground Station is a 10 minute walk away, or alternatively Leytonstone is only 8 minutes away. From the station it is only 12 minutes train ride into Liverpool St, (21 minutes to Oxford Circus, Central London). There is also Leyton Midland overland rail, which is a 15 minute walk from the house. Just one stop (or a 25 minute walk) is the brand new Westfield Stratford City, which has lots of shops, restaurants, and entertainment; bowling, cinema, casino. This is the gateway to the New Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park which opened last summer. A perfect location for any World Cup rugby fans! The house is extremely close to the City and therefore would suit business travellers, students or tourists enjoying the highlights of London. The East End is the ‘coolest’ part of London where you can find my favourite haunts such as Spitafields, Columbia Road Flower Market, Brick Lane and Shoreditch. Locally there are lots of fantastic restaurants and Gastro Pubs: The Red Lion is my favourite for a Sunday roast dinner. Included in the photos are some of my favourite local restaurants and bars. For everyday amenities, there are two huge supermarkets and also numerous smaller shops.     The Spacea nice quiet calm room and i must say a very comfy bed......with a giant TV...all amenities...including breakfast and condiments/seasoning for all your cooking (URL HIDDEN) the room you have everything you need, including an AtoZ, umbrella(of course) a shopping bag, extra blankets, a heater on request, books to read, power adapter...the water pressure leaves a little to be desired, and the water runs very (URL HIDDEN) warned...(= Guest Accessyou will have the freedom to come and go as you please, with full access no curfew and your own keys...i want you to enjoy your stay and not (URL HIDDEN) is essential that you let me know your approx arrival and departure at the earliest convenience so i can be here to greet you and pass on the keys. Interaction with Guestsi am happy to help with you getting around london, i like my own time and music but am happy to pass on knowledge and tell all about my neighbourhood,and if flying, for a fee i could pick you up and bring you home from the airport.     The Spaceit is truly my home,it has me written all over it, comfortable and not pretentious... Guest Accessguests will have access 24 hours a day and can come and go as they please, and will have one or two pairs of keys depending on how many stay... Interaction with Guestsi will happily help with travel plans and getting around, also stocking up the fridge with goodies if needed...i will be on the end of the phone at all times... The Neighborhoodmy area boasts closeness to some of the greenest parts around London...Hackney and Walthamstow marshes,hollow ponds and Epping forest with access to kitchen,bathroom,unlimited WI-FI,night buses and day buses to all over London Getting Aroundan extensive choice of day and night buses directly in to central London...and good access to walks and cycle paths...and i will happily help with any travel needs...

    The SpaceSingle room available to rent in a cosy, friendly and clean house in Leyton, East London. Location The house is in a quiet, residential area ideally located for visiting all parts of London and beyond. It is 5 minutes walk to Leyton tube station which is on the Central line with easy, direct access to Central London. 2 minutes to Stratford, the Olympic Park & Westfield shopping Centre, 10 minutes to the City and 20 minutes to the West End. 2 minutes walk to local bus services including night buses on Leyton High Road. Good links to all London airports including Stansted, London City, Heathrow & Gatwick and all major London Train stations are easily accessible by tube. Also excellent road links serving all parts of the UK. Local Amenities The local area has a variety of good restaurants, friendly pubs, supermarkets and shopping facilities. There are good local sports facilities in the area, these include a swimming pool, tennis courts, gym, golf range, ice skating and horse riding centre. There is a local park 2 minutes walk away and Epping Forest is close by. Accommodation The private room which is situated upstairs at the back of the house is light, airy and nicely decorated. It is fully carpeted, the furniture is in good condition and consists of a single bed, wardrobe, drawers and dressing table. Fresh towels and Bed linen are provided and changed on a weekly basis or when required. All other facilities are communal and available for guests to use. (The maximum number of people staying in the house at any one time is four including myself.) These include: Bathroom - on the same floor as the private room; it is fully tiled, with hand basin, toilet, bath and shower. There is also a separate toilet on the ground floor of the house. Kitchen – This is on the ground floor and has a hob, oven, grill, and microwave and there is a breakfast bar to sit at if required. There is a washer/dryer also available for use. All crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils are provided for guests to use and there is ample cupboard and fridge space available. Living and Dining area – Also on the ground floor it is comfortably furnished with wooden flooring. There are 2 leather sofas, dining table and chairs, desk space, computer and wi fi access if you need it. There is a 46" HD TV, all Sky and cable channels available, TiVo box, DVD, blu-ray player and radio/CD player. There is also a small back garden and on-street parking is available on request. Other Info English breakfast, packed lunches and supper can be provided at a small extra charge. Continental Breakfast, tea, coffee and soft drinks are included in the price. There is also a twin bedded room available for rent in the same house so ideal for a family of 3 or 3 friends sharing who want to spend time in London in good quality accommodation at a reasonable rate.     The SpaceWe love our flat and we know you'll love it to. It's a traditional Victorian Maisonette built in the early 1900's. Maisonette means it has its own front door and is not a conversion. Some London flats share their front entrance. Can sleep 5 people. Two in the main bedroom, one in the second bedroom and two on the sofa bed in the lounge room. LOUNGEROOM Our loungeroom is very light filled in Summer and very cosy in winter. We have 3 very large radiators that underline the bay windows. There are is one comfy sofa bed + an extra sofa, a big rug, small computer table and two chairs and a coffee table. There is a standard lamp for ambience and reading. We also have a large new LCD TV wall mounted. The sofa bed is used to accommodate the 4th and 5th person staying in the flat. Bedding, pillows, duvet / doonah and sheets are provided for anyone sleeping in this room. It is easy to use the sofa bed. MAIN BEDROOM Has a lovely big comfy double bed that sleeps two adults with a set of drawers, cupboard, bedside lamp and basket for dirty clothes. There is a mirror in this room also. The cupboard has coat hangers in it and we provide a hairdryer. All bedding, pillows, duvet / doonah and linen is provided for guests and the spare linen for the sofa bed in the loungeroom is also provided. Large radiator in here which keeps it lovely and warm and it has one large sash window. HALLWAY Rustic floorboards and a ‘Sheila Maid’ on the ceiling which is where you can dry your clothes if you need to. It has a pully that you pull up and down as you need it. It is brilliant for getting your clothes dried and out of the way. WIFI connection is here. Radiator in here also to keep it lovely and warm. KITCHEN The kitchen is fully equiped with a toaster, kettle, new microwave, fridge and freezer, dining room table with 5 chairs. Washing machine, washing powder, cups, glasses, wine glasses, tongs, potato masher, serving bowls, small bowls, plates, cutlery, crockery, pots , pans, roasting tray, chopping board, coffee percolator, saucepans, coffee press and everything you need to prepare meals and cook wonderful dinners. We supply tea towels and everything needed to wash and clean the dishes and clean anything up after yourselves. There is an iron and ironing board in the hallway cupboard. We have a large radiator in this room which is really warming and lovely. The dining table is in here so you can eat your brekky or dinner in here. DECKING We recommend not using the decking as we are having it replaced and it is tricky to walk on. There are French doors that open out onto the decking. The decking is a little worn and we are in the process of having it replaced and repaired. This leads out onto the back garden. Please be careful when using this area and the decking is unstable. BATHROOM - SHOWER / BATH / TOILET / BASIN / TOWELS / RADIATOR - strong power on the shower with hot water. The Bathroom has a large mirror and the toilet is off the bathroom and has a full length mirror. The bathtub is a good size but is a little worn and slightly stained but this is nothing the be concerned about. There is a shower head over the bathtub. Towels / face washers for all staying + shampoo/ conditioner/ liquid soap / toilet paper / Hair dryer and international adaptors / power adaptors. It stays really warm because of our lovely radiators. SECOND BEDROOM The second bedroom is off the kitchen and has a single comfy bed and storage underneath for clothing. It has a small clothes rack also and bedside table and lamp. It has a lovely radiator and stays very warm and cosy. RADIATORS These are wonderful and keep the flat seriously warm in winter and can be programmed to come on before you get up in the morning and for when you come in at night. PARKING Parking directly outside the flat is for residents only , but you can drop off your stuff and park on the next street which is only 1 minute walk away. TRANSPORT Our tube station is, Leyton Underground. It's 22 min's to get into Oxford Circus, Centre of London and 12 min's to Liverpool Street Underground Station (East End). The bus stop is near the end of our street and takes a 4 minute walk and the bus takes 5 minutes max to get to Leyton tube. Buses run constantly every 5 minutes during rush hour. It will take you 40 min’s door to door to get to the very centre of London or to Westminster to the Houses of Parliament. In Summer or if you are a walker like us then it will take you 18 min's to walk to Leyton Tube. We always catch the bus in winter as it is quick and easy. LOCAL SHOPS We have a corner store where you can buy basics and alcohol which is literally 1 minute away. The large Supermarket is enourmous and is across the road from Leyton tube. There is also a local TESCOS 10 minutes away. There is also a coffee shop around the corner. Guest AccessGuest have access to every thing in the flat. It is fully self contained and fully furnished with everything you need to live like you are at home. Once you have been met and shown around the flat and given the keys you will be left in peace to come and go as you please. Our lovely property manager will meet and greet you at the flat if we are away and tell you all about the local area. She's an absolute sweetheart and will let you know where to get everything you need. There are local shops just a minute away and also an enormous shopping centre if you need to do a big food shop. As this is our home all we ask is that you come and go quietly as our neighbourhood is quiet and our neighbours are peaceful and quiet. Interaction with GuestsOur amazing property manager will meet and greet you at the flat and show you how everything works, show you the house guide, give you your keys and tell you everything and anything you need to know about the local area. They will then leave you in peace to get settled in. You can contact them via text/ (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) if you have questions. We leave you a house manual to help you out. Also I would recommend the Transport for London Website to help you arrange how you get to all the touristy attractions in London. The NeighborhoodLovely quiet street. Just across the Road from the Leyton Cricket Pavillion and 5 minutes walk to the local park. Leyton is adjacent to Stratford, the home of the 2012 Olympics and the Olympic Village. Westfield Shopping Centre, Stratford City, is the largest URBAN shopping centre in Europe and open from 10am - 9pm. It is a 20minute bus ride away. It has over 250 shops and 65 restaurants and has a dazzling array of Leisure facilities including luxury bowling, 24 hr casino, and wonderful cinemas. It is also right near the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Leyton has a library, lots of restaurants on the High Street a big Supermarket area, local hardware store. SUPERMARKETS - across the road from Leyton Underground tube station is ASDA Leyton Mills Superstore. It's 24 hours Tuesday - Friday for all of your shopping. There is also a Burger king, NEXT, Sports Direct store, Fernwood Gym, KFC and Pizza Hut. There is a little bar/ cafe on Francis Road, 2 min's walk away, cnr Francis / Albert called surprisingly the Albert and Francis. The Supermarket ASDA is just across the Road from Leyton Tube station in the Leyton Mills Superstore area and is 5 min's away on the bus. On your way home you can grab all of the food you will need for your stay. Francis Road strip full of cute shops, pharmacy and corner stores and take away food outlets is at the end of the street. There is also a corner store where you can buy food or alcohol 1 minutes walk from our flat. There are also a lot of shops on High street in Leyton for take away food and any grocery shopping you may need. It's the East end of London. A great place to live and easy access to Central London via the Central line. Spitalfields market is a bus ride away. Columbia Road Market on a Sunday is also a bus ride away or you can get there via the Central Line to Liverpool Street and walk. Getting AroundOur tube station is : Leyton Underground (Central Line) Zone 3 (RED COLOURED LINE) DOOR TO DOOR - from our flat to the dead centre of London is: 40 minutes max. It's 5 minutes to Leyton tube on buses (97) or (69) from the bus stop near our flat. That bus stop is a 4 minute walk from our flat. Leyton tube is 22 min's to the centre of London. Leyton Tubes : run every 2 minutes in RUSH HOUR Leyton Buses: run every 5 minutes in RUSH HOUR If you want to walk to the tube it takes 18 minutes. We do this in Summer. 5 min in cab from Leyton Underground Tube Station to our flat if you have a lot of luggage. On street parking available but it is on the next street next to ours. It will only take you a minute to walk there. TUBE JOURNEYS Leyton tube to Stratford - 3 minutes Leyton tube to Liverpool Street station (For Spitafields Market) - 12 minutes Leyton tube to Oxford Circus (for Oxford Street Shops) - 22 minutes Leyton tube to Covent Garden - 26 minutes Leyton tube to St Pancras (Eurostar to Europe) - 25 minutes 24 Hour NIGHT BUS to our flat from Trafalgar Square - N26 route - which drops you at the end of our street - 1 minute from our flat HEATHROW - Catch the Piccadilly line (Eastbound) to Holborn. Change to Central Line (Eastbound) and catch tube to Leyton. 15 min walk from Leyton tube, or 5 min's on bus. Mini cab from Tube will cost you - £5 approx. STANDSTEAD AIRPORT - Get the National Express A9 route: Stansted - Stratford: 47 journeys a day; direct travel in just 50 minutes. Then get the CENTRAL (RED) line on the Underground tube from Stratford one stop the Leyton tube. Stratford Underground and Overground station connect easily to all four airports and is a 3 minute journey from Leyton Underground tube. Taxi drop-off points and a regional bus interchange are on hand. Stratford which has a huge intersection of trains and tubes going in all directions and is a central point for train transfers and routes into the city and out of it. GATWICK AIRPORT - to our flat (approx 1 hour) From Gatwick you get the Gatwick Express to London Victoria Rail Station (approx 30 minutes) and then the Victoria line to Oxford Circus Underground Station (5 mins) . Then the Central line to Leyton Underground Station (approx 21 minutes) which is the closest tube to our flat. LUTON AIRPORT - to our flat - (approx 1 hr 30 minutes ) Catch the train from Luton to LEYTON MIDLAND ROAD Overground station (1hr 23 minutes) Get off train and walk towards High Road , Leyton. Turn left onto High Road, Leyton Walk for 5 minutes until you get to Brunswick Road Turn left into Brunswick Road and stay on the right hand side of road and walk until road curves right. 33 Brunswick Road is just around the curve on right. Black front door. Other Things to NotePlease don't smoke inside the flat, but you can smoke on the back decking. No candles in the flat and please respect the flat and keep it clean and tidy and treat it as you would your own home. Please dead lock all doors if you are leaving the flat and lock all windows. Please respect our lovely neighbours and don't play any loud music at all.
