The SpaceLilyfield Guest House This beautifully restored victorian home offers self-contained accomodation; a generous light-filled sitting room with leafy outlook, two double bedrooms (one with ensuite), main bathroom with huge Italian stone bath for two, and private verandah overlooking lush gardens. With lovely original features and period furnishings, Lilyfield Guest House is an elegant, restful home away from home. Location: Nestled between Balmain and Leichhardt in Sydney's inner west, Lilyfield Guest House is surrounded by award-winning restaurants, pubs, shops, weekend markets, playgrounds and parks. Darling Street, Norton Street, Balmain Tigers' home ground, Le Montage function centre, Leichhardt Acquatic Centre and The Bay Run are all less than ten minute's walk away. Sydney city centre is less than five minutes by car, or 15 minutes by lightrail - the station a two minute walk away. Sydney's beaches and the airport are a 25 minute drive. Bedrooms: The ensuite room has a top of the range Sleepmaker innerspring queen mattress while the second bedroom has a Sealy latex queen mattress, both are dressed with 1000 thread-count linen and luxurious white towels are supplied. The beds have dual control electric blankets and the bathrooms are fitted with heated towel rails. Lounge: The wide-screen tv in the lounge/sitting room is equipped with Foxtel. Meals: Continental breakfast provisions, espresso machine, kettle, toaster, microwave and bar fridge are provided. There are no cooking facilities, but the many local cafes and restaurants offer a wealth of choice, and home-delivery! Children welcome: We can supply a cot and high chair and have games, toys and books. Access: The Guest House is accessed via a double sandstone staircase from the street. There is no disabled access available. There is ample free unlimited parking on Grove Street. Rates: Please note the 2 person rate is based on one bedroom and one bathroom being used. There is a $40 charge if both rooms and bathrooms are required for a 2 person stay. School holidays, special events and peak times may be charged at a higher rate, please enquire. Internet: A Samsung tablet is provided for the use of guests to check their emails and browse the web. Air Con: The house is an old sandstone house which does not have nor require air con. It stays cool all year round even when the temperature is in the high 30's. Notes: This space is in a separate section of our house so you may experience 'family noise' from our section as we have children. The SpaceRecently totally renovated home, light filled, with district views. The house is easy care with different zones, within easy walking distance of lots of activities. Close to Balmain and Leichhardt villages. The NeighborhoodVibrant inner city location, 10 minutes to the city on the light rail, close to many restaurants cafés, bars and shopping, but the home is quiet, looking out across the local leafy district, close to the bay. Getting Around2 minute walk to light rail, bus to balmain and city 1 minute walk at end of street. No need for a car! Other Things to Note10% discount for 2 week (or close to) bookings. We are not precious, and we want our guests to enjoy their stay and our home. Our home is easy living and easy care, we ask them to respect it as a well maintained home and take reasonable care.

The SpaceWe're renting out a gorgeous bedroom for up to two people with city skyline views, queen bed, desk, armchair, TV with Playstation 2 and a mini library of Sydney & Australia travel books in your room. Next to the bedroom is your own spacious bathroom with bathtub and shower. We took great care to decorate the room to make it modern and comfortable, while at the same time giving you the amenities you are used to from a hotel stay. In the bathroom, fresh towels & and amenities await, including delicious bath salts (because who travels with bath salts, amirite?). Cereal, toast, jam, butter and of course Vegemite and tea / coffee for breakfast are complimentary, so all you need to do is arrive and feel at home. Private queen bedroom and own bathroom with shower and bath. Plenty of on-street parking available in the area. Free to use Esky (cooler), beach towels and picnic blanket in your room. We have 2 bicycles available for guest use (1 Ladies & 1 Mens), just ask us when you arrive if you wish to use them. Guest AccessAccess to shared TV room, dining room & modern kitchen and a patio. We travel a lot, as well, and are always interested in other people's stories. The NeighborhoodLilyfield is a great, green neigborhood in Sydney's Inner West, with nice cafes and restaurants. The Leichhardt Lawn Bowls Club is a 2 minute walk from our house, with good and cheap pub food & barefoot bowls available. Lilyfield also has wonderful waterfront walks to keep you entertained and enjoying Sydney. Getting AroundYou can easily walk to Annandale, Leichhardt and Lilyfield village, giving you lots of cafe and restaurant options nearby. The light rail station "Lilyfield" is just a 4 minute walk from our house, with quick access directly to the Fish Market, Darling Harbour and Chinatown. There's also a bus stop for the 470 line, which takes you directly down George Street to shopping districts, the Opera House, etc. Other Things to NoteWe have two small and friendly doggies in the house. They will bark when you arrive, but they LOVE people. They won't bother you if you don't care for dogs, but if you like, they'll be your best buddies while you stay with us.

The SpaceCome and stay in this immaculate modern studio in leafy Lilyfield This home away from home is perfect for a Sydney visitor. Fully equipped with polished floorboards, queen bed, lounge, modern bathroom and kitchen, this large Studio is the size of a one bedroom apartment. It opens out to a large sunny courtyard, making it perfect for indoor or outdoor living. A rollaway bed can be provided upon request for an additional $25 per night and an arrival breakfast pack for 2 can be prepared for $25. We are also happy to put in 2 additional beds for a family of 4, allowing for 2 adults and 2 children to stay. If staying with children you will be pleased to know there is a large park and play area 5 minutes walk away and a large aquatic centre for fun or exercise 3 minutes drive from the Studio. The NeighborhoodLocated in a leafy inner Sydney suburb it is hard to believe the City is so close. Part of the charm is that you can come home after a long day and feel a sense of calm, yet be so conveniently located to everything that you need to explore and visit. Shops, restaurants and bars are all walking distance, and if you have a car there is plenty of unrestricted parking right outside the premises. Getting AroundOnly 2 minutes walk from the Light Rail taking you to Darling Harbour, Star City, the Sydney Fish Markets, Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, the Entertainment Centre and the centre of the City it provides an excellent accommodation opportunity for Sydney visitors. It is also close to bus stops for direct access to Balmain and Leichhardt, offering plentiful dining opportunities and shopping. Walking distance to restaurants, boutiques and markets every Saturday in Rozelle and at Orange Grove, this leafy suburb is a hidden gem only 7 minutes into central Sydney by car and has plenty of on street parking. The SpaceLilyfield is in Sydney's inner west and is a quiet family suburb in walking distance to the buzzing Rozelle village and Balmain with some of Sydney's best cafes, pubs and restaurants a short stroll away. The area is very popular with trendy young professional families who work in the city and still want to be close to the action. The Sydney CBD is 3.5kms away and only 5 mins by car and 15 minutes by light rail with a stop 200 metres from the house. The city is 35 mins walk. There is easy access to the lower north shore suburbs and beaches (such as Mosman and Balmoral beach) over the Harbour bridge; and to the Eastern suburbs (such as Bondi) via the Cross City tunnel (5 mins to Paddington and Darlinghurst). The fish markets, Annandale and Glebe are walking distance as well. But perhaps the best local features are the beautiful Callan Park and Bay Run just 100 metres away and the Saturday morning organic growers markets at the local Orange Grove School. Our home was built in 1881 but was completely renovated in 2011, retaining the facade and some original features but adding a stunning architectural extension and landscaping. Two living areas and a pleasant pocket handkerchief garden provide spaces to socialise or spend quiet time alone. A portable cot is available if travelling with a baby. Fresh linen is provided on a weekly basis. Share bathroom with one other bedroom (1 or 2 people). Guest AccessThe house has a large open-plan kitchen and living room that open up onto a small garden equipped with BBQ. Guests are welcome to use these spaces with us. We provide a small area in the kitchen for guests to store food and a shelf in the fridge for items that require refrigeration. There is a communal laundry. Interaction with GuestsWe lead busy lifestyles but enjoy meeting people and chatting. Vegetarians and vegans are welcome but we are omnivores. We enjoy a glass of wine in the evening with our meals. We are happy to help guests with ideas of things to do and see in Sydney and how to get around if needed. The NeighborhoodLilyfield is a quiet, leafy neighbourhood in Sydney's historic Inner West. It is a short distance to Rozelle, Balmain, Annandale and Leichhardt which are all renowned for their cafe's and restaurants. We are only 5 mins walk from the beautiful Callan Park and one of Sydney's most famous waterside walks - "The Bay Walk/Run". On Saturdays we are within easy walking distance of Orange Grove Farmer's Markets (which do the best 'Bacon and Egg Rolls' in Sydney as well as lots of fruit and veg, clothes and jewelry etc.) and in the other direction the very popular Rozelle Markets which do more second-hand goods, clothes and antiques. Good public transport is available and there is plenty of on-street parking. Getting AroundWe are a 5-10 minute walk to buses and the Lilyfield Light Rail stop. Easy transport to the city, the Fish markets, China Town, Central and much more. A taxi from the airport usually costs anywhere between $50 and $80 depending on the route, time and traffic. Easy walk to several bus routes and the light rail. Easy access to Balmain ferries by bus. Other Things to NoteSue's small office is run out of this home but it is well-separated from the living and sleeping areas. There is a cat in this home. We like to recycle where possible and have a compost bin too. We encourage our guests to use the dishwasher to save water and electricity. The laundry has a drier but we encourage guests to drip dry clothes when possible. We are also fitted out with solar hot water.

Designed for the traveller who packs light and is happy eating simple meals. The space is well suited for one roller bag only. If you're in Sydney sightseeing or on business and just want your own space to sleep and eat you will find the studio meets your needs. For those guests looking for somewhere to spend their days, you may find the studio too small for prolonged periods without an outing. Adjacent to our family backyard, there will be regular occasions where our 3 children, sometimes with friends over, will be playing and making noise. We encourage our children to play outside often. Please have a look at the photo showing the location of the studio in relation to our home and the dimentions of the room 2.7 x 2.6m Guest AccessThe studio with kitchenette and ensuite plus mini courtyard with table & two chairs is for the exclusive use of the guest. The adjacent home and backyard is for our family use only. Please use the paving stones walkway behind the screen to enter the studio. Interaction with GuestsWe are a busy household of two part time working parents and 3 children, all under 10yrs old. We have limited time but more than happy to have a chat. Adjacent to the studio is our home office and we regularly work there during the day and evening. The NeighborhoodA family neighbourhood, with the quiet charm of a community, and a very easy commute into town. A well stocked IGA supermarket is located a 1 min walk from the studio. There is also a local cafe (Brew Ha Ha) (open 7am - 3pm Tues-Sun) a newsagent, a laundromat and a corner shop all within a 1 min walk. Your morning coffee fix & all you need to throw a meal together are only a few moments away. The Light Rail travels to Pyrmont, the Fish Markets, Star City Casino, Darking Harbour, Chinatown & Central. A 470 bus stop with regular trips to Central, Town Hall, Wynyard, Circular Quay also a 2 min walk away, on Catherine St. A bicycle with helmet & lock is also available for your use, please let us know if you're interested in this option and we will arrange to park the bike adjacent to the studio. Other Things to NoteWe are not far from the Inner West flight path so sadly there is some plane noise at times. Some people will notice it, others not. Thankfully the airport curfew means flights don't start until 6am and finish before midnight. We store our childrens bikes on the outside side wall of the studio ensuite and thus at times we may cross the studio courtyard to access these belongings. Our vegetable gardens also back onto the studio courtyard so we may cross the courtyard to garden and pick produce. There will be times of lawn mowing and backyard tidying where we will be adjacent to or in the studio courtyard in order to maintain it. For bookings longer than a fortnight, a regularly fortnightly clean is essential and charged at the check out cleaning rate. If you prefer to do this clean yourself, the necessary equipment will be made available to you.

If you like nature or an evening stroll along Wigram Road towards Spinders park --- Jubilee Park. Your expectations: 1. A comfortable Queen size bed 2. Free Wireless Wifi 3.       The SpaceChina Doll is a boutique experience in a quiet pocket of Lilyfield! This is a little house with a big spirit. Its an enormous one bedroom house with a queen size bed in a 6 meter master and a separate sleeping alcove. The living and dining rooms are generous with lots of natural light and bi-fold doors leading onto level garden access. The kitchen has european appliances, a 90cm smeg gas/electric stove and stone benchtops, this is a kitchen you could cook a full meal in although there are excellent dining options all around you. The house is very well furnished and offers a more home away from home atmosphere. House has wifi, the 40inch flat screen with apple TV, Netflix and Stan. There is a single bed in the alcove which is ready to go. this does pull up into a king size bed (request linen for this option), the house will easily accommodate 3 people. (standard 2 person price does not include use of both beds) the dining room opens onto the garden which is pet friendly and fully fenced. Pets will be charged at the same rate as an extra person, please send details of your pets age, breed and size. We also do not allow pets to sleep on beds or get onto furniture. China Doll is located just outside the city within a 4km radius of the cbd. Its walking distance to the hustle and bustle of the Rozelle wine bars, 30 pubs and restaurants, the markets on weekends and there are 43 acres of waterfront parkland right outside the door. there is an excellent 7kms run along the foreshore with access less than 2mins from your front door. The light rail is at the end of the street (1 mins downhill) and the bus into the city is about a 15min ride.... there is free street parking, the GoGets bay is one street away for car hire. On Saturdays we are within easy walking distance of Orange Grove Farmer's Markets (which do the best 'Bacon and Egg Rolls' in Sydney as well as lots of fruit and veg, clothes and jewelry etc.) and in the other direction the very popular Rozelle Markets which do more second-hand goods, clothes and antiques. Good public transport is available and there is plenty of on-street parking. Getting AroundWe are a 5-10 minute walk to buses and the Lilyfield Light Rail stop. Easy transport to the city, the Fish markets, China Town, Central and much more. A taxi from the airport usually costs anywhere between $50 and $80 depending on the route, time and traffic. Easy walk to several bus routes and the light rail. Easy access to Balmain ferries by bus. Other Things to NoteSue's small office is run out of this home but it is well-separated from the living and sleeping areas. There is a cat in this home. We like to recycle where possible and have a compost bin too. We encourage our guests to use the dishwasher to save water and electricity. There is also a bus stop at the top of the street (150m) that has direct links to the city. For the more adventurous, a water taxi can be booked to come to the wharf at the end of the street (5 min walk) for a 20 minute ride into Circular Quay.

It is 2 minutes walk from the Light Rail taking you to all the Sydney attraction points. Open plan design of this 50 square metre apartment means you enjoy the spaciousness of a one bedroom studio apartment without feeling boxed in. The Studio leads to a beautiful front courtyard offering an additional 25 sq metres of outdoor living. There is a brand new 3 seater lounge and and armchair, large flat screen tv, 1500 thread count luxury sheets on a Queen Bed and everything you need in kitchen and laundry facilities to make a short or long stay as convenient as you care. In putting together The Studio for rental we have put our own experience with staying in five star accommodation to use and offered it up on a plate for you. Free wifi allows you to work or play on your devices with ease, an iPod dock lets you listen to all your favs and the selection of DVDs and magazines allows you to relax in comfort when you fancy staying in. Rollaway beds can be provided upon request for an additional $25 per night each. There are 2 of these and are ideal for children, however if pushed together make a nice additional double bed. There is room for a portacot in addition to the rollaways so if you'd have the little ones in tow they are more than welcome. It's budget priced, but extremely relaxed, clean & comfortable. The house is very close to major city transport links, including both buses and the light rail service. Either the bus routes or light rail can get you into the city very easily and some services in as little as 10 minutes, all services will get you into the city within 25 minutes. If you want something quicker, a taxi ride is 5-10 minutes only. I also boast a well equipped corner shop that is just a few meters away. My house is very close to everything you need in Sydney and all major tourist attractions, not to mention the famous Orange Grover farmers market every Saturday morning for that bacon and egg roll along with a coffee or fresh squeezed orange juice right across the street. Only 2 minutes walk from the Light Rail taking you to Darling Harbour, Star City, the Sydney Fish Markets, Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre and Entertainment Centre and the centre of the City it provides an excellent accommodation opportunity for Sydney visitors. It is also close to bus stops for direct access to Balmain and Leichhardt, offering plentiful dining opportunities and shopping. Walking distance to restaurants, boutiques and markets every Saturday in Rozelle and at Orange Grove, this leafy suburb is a hidden gem only 7 minutes into central Sydney by car and has plenty of on street parking.               The SpaceThis amazingly spacious, light filled studio is newly built. It is a gorgeous space, with new queen sized bed, quality inclusions and all the comforts of home. Whilst fully open plan, the space is designed to provide privacy and separation between the living areas and the sleeping / WIR area. The fabulous bathroom features both walk in shower and freestanding bath for luxuriating. Quality bed linen and towels, with bathrobes and terry slippers provided. Stay in and prepare your meals in the fully equipped kitchenette, or go out and enjoy one of the numerous and diverse eateries in the area. Relax on the comfortable lounge with Foxtel TV, or request DVD player and DVDs. The Studio is truly very light filled, however each window has Roman blockout blinds installed - so you can sleep in comfortably! Guest AccessThe Studio is accessed by a separate entrance from the front of the house. You will have as much independence and privacy as you wish. Stairs lead to the space, which is not, therefore, suited to disabled access. Guests are welcome to relax in the house's backyard (but would need to be willing to share it with my French Bulldogs, Missy, Molly and Carlos). The Studio is separated from the poopsters space by 2 gates, so they can't get in your way unless you want them to. Free unlimited parking on our street. The NeighborhoodNestled between Balmain, Rozelle and Leichhardt in the inner west, Lilyfield is surrounded by a multiplicity of restaurants, pubs, shops, weekend markets and parks. Darling Street, Norton Street, Balmain Road, Montage Function Centre, Leichhardt Acquatic Centre and The Bay are all less than 10 minute's walk. A little further along Darling Street takes you to all that trendy Balmain has to offer. Getting AroundWe are so well served by public transport, and so proximate to all Sydney has to offer. Sydney city centre is about five minutes by car, or 20 minutes by Light Rail or bus. Great public transport, with bus stops and station a 5 or 6 minute gentle stroll away. Sydney Airport is a 20 - 25 minute drive, and is easily reached via Light Rail connecting to the Airport Train at Central Station. Other Things to NoteLilyfield, like all of the inner west, is within Sydney airport's flight path. Sometimes aircraft noise is intrusive - other times it's non existent, but either scenario is unpredictable and seems to depend on wind strength and direction!

Getting AroundWe are close to the Light Rail network that runs into the city as does the nearby bus route. Another close bus route can take guests to one of Sydney's beaches, via the bustling Newtown area, where you will find many unusual shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, music and cinema.
