Our apartment is a wonderfully warm and very spacious third floor apartment in a quiet development in Westferry, only 5 min walk to Westferry station, East London Zone 2, within very easy reach of EXCEL, O2 CENTRE, OLYMPIC PARK, WESTFIELD STRATFORD SHOPPING CENTRE, CANARY WHARF, BRICK LANE and SHOREDITCH. Guest AccessThe guests have access to their room and own bathroom. Tea/coffee making facilities are also available. Access to the balcony. The usage of the kitchen or washing machine is NOT possible, though we are happy for guests to come down and request plates, cups, glasses and other items they may need. THE ROOM Double room, carpeted and furnished with a DBL size bed, large wardrobe and fully furnished with own bathroom next door. THE BATHROOM It has a shower, bath, wash basin and cupboard. (Only used by the guest). The house has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, open plan Kitchen and living room. It has central heating and double glazed windows. Tesco and Lidl are within a 1 min walk and Waitrose is a 10mins walk. It is a strictly no smoking space. (Smoking allowed only on the balcony). Interaction with GuestsIdeally I would like a lot of interaction with the guest, preferably meeting before the room is available. I like to greet guests upon check in to show them around the apartment and answer any questions you may have. I am always available by phone, text or email should you have any further questions during your stay. The NeighborhoodLOCATION It is excellent: Tesco is 1 minutes walk. Waitrose is 10mins walk Numerous restaurants offering all types of cuisine, lively or cosy bars and pubs 10 minutes walk. London City Airport is only 7 stations (15 minutes) great access to Westferry. *If you are working or coming for meetings in Canary wharf, our place is a short 10 min walk to Canary wharf where the banks are located. Getting AroundTRANSPORT Tube Stations: Westferry (DLR) is 5 mins walk. Mile end station is a 5 min by bus. Bus Stops: D7, D6, 277 (1 minute walk), more buses available near Westferry station. -------------------------------------------------------- Tips: Westferry DLR station is just 5 minutes walk away. The most economic method of paying for public transport in London is to get an Oyster smartcard which enables you to travel on underground trains, overground trains. The Oyster card costs £5 deposit, and is returnable when you leave London at most underground stations. Other Things to NoteHouse is very comfortable and relaxed. Ideal base for exploring London and the markets, shops and restaurants of the city's coolest neighbourhood. The building is quiet and well-kept. There is also the use of a shared terrace for sunny days. The street is extremely quiet with minimal traffic and no buses while also being within very short walking distance to the heart of East London local market, shopping and dining areas. We have lived in the area for seven years and can also provide you with a guide to the best restaurants, shops and bars in the area and in London. Our flat has a lovely peaceful atmosphere. Getting AroundThe nearest stations Limehouse just one minutes away. There are several bus stops within a few minutes walk from the apartment. City bikes are also available for rental right outside our front door.

It is a good decent home. It has been repainted and new furniture brought in, inc comfy beds only last summer. It is quiet and easy to sleep. No one overlooking and no one upstairs. New double glazing windows and lockable balcony door have been installed recently. A lot of lights coming through and you can enjoy the view or smoke on the balcony. The flatshare is easy to share for the shower or kitchen and there is never issues with toilets as there is 2. The NeighborhoodAround the house, there is all the amenities you need, convenient shops, cheap little restaurants and take away, nice Italian and Asian food, 3 supermarkets, inc 2 Tesco and a great LIDL German hard discounter. Canary Wharf is also a huge complex with lots more choice, a big mall, lost of restaurants and bars, a big multiplex cinema, gyms, swimming pool... On your spare time, there is a nice canal walk behind the building going to LIMEHOUSE BASIN MARINA, THE THAMES PATHS/ WAPPING or the other way take you to MILE END PARK VICTORIA PARK and a little further very nice and trendy BROADWAY MARKET on Saturdays or COLUMBIA FLOWER MARKET on Sundays. PERFECT FOR A RUN OR CYCLE A BARCLAYS HIRED BIKE along the canal! Getting AroundThe building is at the junction of Rhodeswell Road and Salmon Lane, with the Regent's canal just behind. Check on a map the postcode E14 7UF. LIMEHOUSE DLR fast train station is a 5 minutes walk or 1 minute more to WESTFERRY DLR station. You could walk to CANARY WHARF - JUBILEE LINE station or use the bus in 15-20 minutes. At least 3 bus lines goes directly to Canary Wharf near the house , D3, D7, 135. You will also probably find new shortcuts while walking everyday. MILE END TUBE station ( CENTRAL, DISTRICT or HAMMERSMITH AND CITY tube lines) There is a Barclays HIRE BIKE STATION ON YOUR DOORSTEP. It might cut your short travel time by half. It may sound silly but it is easy to use. Check online for a demo how easy it works. The SpaceSunny double room for rent in a comfortable two bedroom house in the Limehouse/Stepney area. You would share the house with me, a professional woman working in the housing sector. The house is excellently located in a quiet family street. Public transport links are excellent as it is close to the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) (4 mins walk) (6 mins to Bank, 5 mins to Canary Wharf) and local amenities. This will give you easy access to Central London and key Olympic sites like Excel, Stratford and Greenwich. Parking permits can be arranged for an additional fee. If you are a clean, tidy, easygoing and independent person you would be the ideal guest. Non-smokers only please. I have a small garden and the usual mod cons including a washer/dryer, TV/DVD and internet. The rent is £130 per night inclusive of all bills except for the phone. Breakfast will be self service, tell me your preferences and I will make sure your favourites are in the guest cupboard. There's a lovely cafe about five minutes walk away if you'd prefer. Canary Wharf has a huge range of bars and restaurants for a visitor to sample. Alternatively, you can try out Brick Lane - its a short bus ride away and houses possibly the highest concentration of restaurants specialising in food from the Indian sub-continent in London.

I’m excited to welcome you to our home which is full of personal touches to really make you feel at home! You’ll enjoy discovering the playful design features in every corner and all the quirks that make our space unique. There’s no shortage of cool coffee table books for the design obsessives like me, as well as our collection of DVDs to choose from to kick back and relax after a long day. There's also Sky TV for those who fancy a bit more choice, as well as a playstation for the kids (and the big kids too!). The open plan living area has a comfy sofa and a dining area that seats four. A high chair can also be provided upon request. If the weather’s good, why not dine al fresco in the garden? There’s a table with 6 chairs and a couple of recliners for you to relax in the sunshine. The house is laid out over three floors giving a roomy feel and allowing everyone to spread out in the three spacious double bedrooms which all have an individual style. There is also a child’s bedroom on the top floor equipped with a cot and changing table for those of you staying with a little one. All the beds are made with luxurious white cotton linen which is professionally laundered before each guest arrives to give you the most comfortable night’s sleep - just remember to set an alarm or you will probably never want to get up! There are two bathrooms in the house with a toilet on the ground floor, an en suite shower room on the first floor and the house bathroom on the top floor with a bath to help you unwind after a long journey or a day of exploring. There are super cosy, fluffy white towels for your use as well as complimentary shampoo and shower gel and a hairdryer for the ladies. The kitchen has everything you will need for a comfortable stay as I like to keep tea, coffee and sugar stocked up. It has all the electrical goodies you’ll need including toaster, kettle and nespresso machine as well as a dishwasher and washing machine for your use. But don’t sweat! All the instructions to use these things can be found in our house manual upon your arrival. We think the house is super family friendly and would be great for those of you travelling with little ones - there is a cute child's room on the top floor of the house with toys and books and it comes equipped with a cot and changing table. We can also provide a highchair upon request. Ideally located between trendy Limehouse Marina and up-and-coming Stepney and Whitechapel, we are minutes away from a range of cool venues, restaurants and shopping destinations including The Troxy, Gordon Ramsay's The Narrow, Westfield Stratford City (one of the largest shopping centres in Europe), Canary Wharf and Ian McKellen's pub The Grapes - an institution in the area! From Limehouse station you can get to the Tower of London in 10 minutes, Soho and Oxford street in 20 minutes. - 15 mins walk from Mile End (Central, Hammersmith and City) - one stop from Westfield and also the Olympic Park which will be the new home of West Ham football club from August this year. It also takes you to trendy Notting Hill in less than half an hour or to London Liverpool Street in about 15mins. - 10 mins from Stepney Green (District, Hammersmith and City) which is direct to London Paddington for the Heathrow Express, Liverpool Street for the Stansted Express, London Victoria for the Gatwick Express, London Euston, King's Cross and St Pancras for Eurostar. We are just a stone's throw away from Limehouse Basin and walking distance to Wapping and River Thames - stop for a pint of ale in two of London's oldest pubs! One can catch the Thames River Bus nearby which is very popular with visitors - soak up some fantastic views along the way! The NeighborhoodCanary Wharf is the newest area of London, the most modern and safe. It has great surrounding area with beautiful views to Canary Wharf and docks. With an iconic skyline towering over London, striking and dynamic architecture and a vibrant, cosmopolitan feel, Canary Wharf is firmly established as a first class shopping and leisure destination. The SpaceSpacious apartment that feels more like a house. Separate entry upstairs, 2 bathrooms and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We genuinely want you to enjoy your stay. If you want to enjoy a bottle of wine on the balcony or stay in and cook dinner you are more than welcome. The SpaceA nineteenth century terrace house, one of the only remaining ones in the whole area (due to bombing during WWII) . This is a charming and comfortable house with character. The room has a double bed, desk and loads of storage space so is suitable for a longer stay and would suit a professional or student who is in London for work or study. Looking over the gardens means the room is quiet and a black out blind ensures a comfortable sleep! There is a shared bathroom with shower and bath and a well appointed kitchen and living room. Guest AccessBedroom, bathroom and kitchen for preparing food. Interaction with GuestsDue to long hours of work it is likely that there will only be others around in the evenings and weekend. The house will be shared with one girl, my sister Georgia. She will be happy to let you know about the local area and will be on hand for any questions. This room will suit an independent traveller. The NeighborhoodLimehouse is a great neighbourhood with leafy canals, interesting cafes, historic pubs and great restaurants in the local area. We are only 5 mins from the local pool and leisure centre where you can take classes, swim and go to the gym. Getting Around10 mins walk to Mile End (Central, Hammersmith and City and District Lines) or Limehouse DLR stations. Within 30 minutes you can be in central London. A bus from the main road takes you direct to the Tower of London and all the sights!
