The SpaceThis reservation is for one of three rooms (each priced individually) that can be booked at the White Rose Manor. Please see additional listings to secure reservations for the other rooms. Each room has one bed and a maximum capacity of two guests. We are a traditional B&B and live in the home as well. Look for more White Rose Manor rooms in Lincolnton, NC! The White Rose Manor has an historic setting that takes you back in time. The grounds support a multitude of bird types, flowering shrubs and open-air playhouse. Guest AccessBackdoor guests are best is what we like to say. After our guests get settled, they can come and go from the back door, just like family. All of our guest rooms are upstairs and share a common bathroom (bathrobes provided). An alcove at the top of the stairs has two comfy reading chairs and Kuerig machine. There is WIFI available throughout the Manor. The main floor has a great room with a fireplace and multiple sitting areas as well as lots of windows. A television equipped with cable, DVD and VHS is available for guest use in the Great Room. The dining room is open for use during the entire stay. The dining room table seats 8 and is adjacent to the kitchen where breakfast is prepared for our guests. Interaction with GuestsGuests have specific desires when they come to stay at the Manor. Some are quite lively and want to visit. Others are reserved and prefer to have their own time. We do our best to accommodate whichever needs are requested. Often late night coffee or afternoon tea is offered at no charge. With advance reservations required for overnight stays, we are able to let our guests know if there will be others in the Manor during their stay. The NeighborhoodLincolnton is loveable with its Main Street and art loving residents. The Manor, one mile from the Square, is an easy stroll. In town, there is a pottery house where you can throw or fire your own, antiques stores, wine shops with tastings, the Lincoln Cultural Center with art exhibits and performances and a Farmer's Market (seasonal, open on Tuesdays and Saturdays). Getting AroundTransportation is on your own at the Manor. The Courthouse Square, one mile from us, is surrounded by a round-about (one way road), so remember to turn right; the center lane is the through lane. Bicycles may be available for loan depending on the schedule. Just up the street, there is the Marcia H. Cloninger Rail Trail for hiking, jogging and riding. If you need a lift from/to the airport, we may be able to help if it works with our schedule. The Charlotte airport (CLT) is about 40 minutes away. There is an Enterprise Car Rental in downtown Lincolnton, just up the road from the Manor. Other Things to NoteThis is an old home with multiple additions. Floors have a step-up and/or a step-down between most rooms and hallways. All guest rooms and the common bathroom are upstairs.

The Alcove is an upstairs nook with two comfy reading chairs and a Keurig machine for that anytime cup of coffee, tea or chocolate. The dining room is where breakfast is served, but is also available for use. The back walk and grounds are open as well. Interaction with GuestsGuests have specific needs when they come to the Manor. Some are lively and conversationalists; others prefer quiet time. We respect these needs and make every effort to respond, accordingly. The NeighborhoodLincolnton is a loveable town, rich in history. The Manor is just south of the Courthouse Square through the historic district--close enough to walk or bike. There are antique and secondhand shops, wine shops with tastings, a coffee shop and well-known bicycle shop, all in walking distance. The Cultural Center on Main Street has performances and an art gallery. Lincolnton is known for annual festivals like the Apple Festival and Hog Happenin'. Getting AroundTransportation is on your own at the Manor. Only a mile, it is close enough to walk to the Square. The closest airport is Charlotte (CLT) and there is an Enterprise Car Rental in downtown Lincolnton. Other Things to NoteThe White Rose Manor is a traditional bed and breakfast where the hosts live and prepare a full daily breakfast between 7am and 9:30am. Our spacious country home gives you a place to stay away from the busy city life and let's you enjoy the outdoors right in the back yard! Private pool or Bon fire, whatever you like! The guest bedroom and bathroom are on one half of the house next to the office and a livingroom so you'll have lots of privacy. We will really just share a kitchen while you're here :-). In the office you'll have access to a computer as well as a stationary bicycle, an elliptical and a workout space!

Common spaces include a formal living room, a cozy keeping room with fireplace and a spacious family room with window seats, overflowing books shelves that will please the most discerning bibliophile, music, television and more. Outdoor spaces include covered porches on the front and back of the house that exceed 2,000 square feet. A gentile porch swing will sway you back to an earlier age and a two-person hammock offers ideal nap space all year round. A tankless hot-water heater means unlimited showers, baths and laundry and no one suffers, ever. Guest AccessTravelers are able to book one of two bedrooms. Each offers a private bath. The master with a king, mahogany four-poster bed also features a spa bath with a two-person jetted tub, a shower unit with sauna feature, towel warmer and marble floors and accents, and custom cabinetry. The second bedroom features a queen-sized, four-poster, Mahogany rice bed and adjoining private bath. The second bedroom offers a private entrance. If desired, guests may use other indoor and outdoor spaces in the house. Interaction with GuestsAs this is my primary residence, I will be in the home during your stay.
