Guest AccessGuests will have access to the Brady Cabin, ponds and private property as well as all surrounding federal lands. There is quite a bit of private property surrounding the Cabin, so exact instructions will be given as to what land can be accessed and explored and what land can't be accessed. Interaction with GuestsThe Brady Home is located in Grand Junction so detailed instructions will be given for access to the cabin without any in-person instruction, which includes a phone call with the host before each cabin stay. The host will also be available by phone at any time to answer questions or solve any problems, but keep in mind phone service is limited and can usually only be accessed about 1 mile away from the cabin. The NeighborhoodWhat is so fabulous about the cabin is that it is not in a neighborhood. You are secluded from most human life by many miles. Going to the cabin should be seen like going camping. The cabin itself has some amenities, but the nearest gas station is 1.5 hours away as well as any shopping or food. Make sure you are prepared with lots of ice as the cabin refrigerator is run by generator. You may not want to run the generator all of the time due to the noise, so please be prepared as if you are camping. Getting AroundBring your own four wheelers, horses, dirt bikes, or jeeps for some rugged outdoor adventures. The cabin can be accessed with any type of vehicle but it is best accessed by SUV or truck. Depending on weather the dirt roads could be muddy, riveted or slippery. Other Things to NoteThe Brady Cabin is very secluded and is essentially "in the middle of nowhere". You drive about 17 miles on gravel road, and then several more miles on rugged terrain roads that are best accessed by truck or SUV. We are currently working on getting wifi available for our guests but please expect it to be very difficult to be in touch with the outside world. There is very limited phone service depending on your provider and you may have to drive out of the cabin to get cell coverage.

This cabin is tucked into the beautiful western Colorado mountains in Douglas Creek. You are surrounded by wildlife, natural streams and hiking. It's a great lodge in the hunting season as well. This is a cozy cabin that has running water and electricity run by solar energy. You have access to an outdoor grill and patio area as well as an indoor wood burning stove. You can also enjoy s'mores at the fire pit and eat at the picnic table on the property. Bring your furry friends.

We love this Fruita Crashpad! First, it has a hot tub... and if that is not enough, there is plenty more great things about this property! The six separate beds (including two fold down futons) will keep your group comfortable and give you the space you need! It is located in Loma, (four miles west of Downtown Fruita) and just a five minute pedal from the Kokopelli trailhead - this place has quick access to any type of outdoor activity you would like. Mountain bike, road ride, hike, raft, water ski at Highline Lake or take your ATV's and moto's out to Rabbit Valley. Hunting - yes, this would be the perfect place to use as a hub for that too. The back yard is a beautiful place to relax after a long day exploring. Make a meal on the BBQ, soak in the hot tub, listen to some tunes on the back yard stereo, watch the beautiful Western Colorado sunsets - or just relax inside on the spacious couch and watch some TV on the large flat screen. Fruita has a great selection of family friendly activities. Check out the Dinosaur Museum, or visit one of the active digs in the area. Tour the Childrens Nature Center where they have many animals, including Michael Jacksons snakes. Spend a day at the Community Center with a year round pool and slide, basket ball courts and fitness center. Or take a scenic drive through the Colorado National Monument. Want to take a quick day trip? Moab and Arches National Park is just 1.5 hours away. Colorado's Wine Country is just 20 minutes away. And the largest flat top mountain in the world - The Grand Mesa is 30 minutes away. Whatever you choose to do - we look forward to welcoming you and making this your home away from home! Send us an inquiry on the right, 'Book It Now' or call us - we are here to help you plan your perfect vacation!

If you're looking for your next camping trip, or trip in the mountains, this is the place to go. The Brady Cabin has a private pond with miraculous views. The cabin has both running water and electricity run by a generator, yet you are experiencing the outdoors like you can nowhere else. Also enjoy swimming in the pond, bring your own horses, go hiking, or fish down the road. My Cabin is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets). If you do not have a 4 wheel drive car, you should probably not attempt. If you do, bring chains. The last 5 miles of the trip is on rough terrain managed better by snow mobiles in snowy conditions. You could also snow shoe in on a nice day. We recommend bringing snow mobiles in the winter if there is snow to get around. There is also currently no running water in the winter. We are working on getting this resolved, so if you are interested in the cabin after December 1st, let us know and we can tell you whether there is any running water available.

My property is located just off of l-70 on the western edge of Colo. witch makes it within one days travel to almost all this area has to offer, which includes Moab Ut. & all of the parks and recreational activities imaginable. Western Colo. is also rich in historical sites, mining towns & scenic beauty (Grand Mesa, The Black Canyon, Glenwood Springs, Aspen, Ourey, Red Moutain Pass, Telluride, Lizard Head Pass & The four corner just to name a few). It also offers peace & quiet which comes from being situated in a rural setting.
