Accommodations in London

house
3br house
The living area is the perfect room for the entire family to get together. Dark wooden floors, a large L-shaped sofa, interesting artwork and spotlight lighting only adds to the appeal. At the heart of the room is a mini entertainment system consisting of a large wall mounted television, DVD player and large speakers providing surround sound for guests. Next to the living area lies the dining room. A sloping glassed roof bathes the room in natural light throughout the day. There is a piano, mini stereo with speakers and sliding patio doors that provide access to and views of the garden. The garden is a reasonable size for a house in London and is completely private. The area is decked and offers garden furniture and a BBQ - perfect for alfresco dining during the summer months or even just a morning coffee. Conveniently the kitchen is situated next to the dining room and what a great kitchen it is! It's a decent size with a large window ensuring it is light and airy and offers views of the garden. It is incredibly modern and the owners clear love and passion for cooking is clear to see with the amenities on offer. There is a two tiered double oven, large American style fridge/freezer, deep fat fryer, modern hob and even a wine chiller. Upstairs are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. On your left is the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The bedroom has a king-sized bed and a double wardrobe with a mirrored frontage. There is another large, wall mounted flat screen television, bedside tables and dressing table. The en-suite, like the rest of the property, is finished to a high standard and provides a walk in waterfall shower, heated towel rail, large basin and a toilet. The second bedroom is a double and provides guests with a third television and a PS3 for the children or young at heart to enjoy! A single wardrobe is again mirrored, a desk and plenty of shelves for extra storage. From this bedroom, there are views of the garden. The third and final bedroom is a large single room and offers a huge fitted wardrobe and bedside table. Upon request, we can provide a further single mattress to sleep up to 6 guests in total. Across the hallway from here is the family bathroom boasting another waterfall shower, bath, his and hers matching basins, heated towel rail and a toilet. Additional amenities include: video game console, blender/juicer, hob, normal TV, desk, plates and cutlery, ironing board, glasses. The security deposit is refundable at the end of the stay. The beauty of Camden lies in its extremes; you’ll be hard pushed to find anywhere in London which, in turn, is quite as grand or as grungy! It is great for families. By Camden Town underground station you’ll find Mohawks, mezze and macchiatos in equal measure. The Stables Market has everything on offer from indie casual-wear and gothic designs to pretty floral dresses. Less than a 5 minute walk from the mayhem of the Stables and you’ll find serenity on Primrose Hill road, with up-market cafés, interior design and cake shops. At the top of the road is Primrose Hill itself with, arguably, the best views of London from its summit. Parkway, which is about a 10 minute walk from the flat, is another great street to explore with a couple of Michelin-starred restaurants, an organic health-food store and a jazz café. The SpaceAvailable are the couches, camp bed and high rise airbed all of which can be assembled in my living room. It is a great budget alternative for accommodation in a part of London that is a 15 minute train ride to the London Eye but in a residental neighbourhood! There is a common near my house where people tend to relax in the sun - if we ever get it. I have a local shopping mall near me called Southside. Though you're probably going to find the more impressive ones in other parts of London. You'll be able to get to everything you'd want to see in London from here with great ease as the bus stops are a minute away and the railway station is 5 minutes. Where possible I will try to make myself available if you want a tour guide. Though even if it is just to route plan your day I'll always make some time to do this. Hmm, if you stay with me can you please get (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) on your phone. It is a fantastic communication tool. Thanks. Ronald

The SpacePlease message me before making a reservation so we can discuss your stay. This is a really attractive small house in a friendly and "villagey" area. The bedroom has a very comfortable small double bed but it is a 4 footer and not for those who are used to very big doubles. There is good transport, five minutes from Wandsworth Town station with great connections to both the West End and the City, plus lots of buses. It is also ten minutes from the river bus where you can go both up and down the river, by far the best and most picturesque way to travel in London. There is free parking between 4.30 pm and 9.30 am after that it is only £7.00 for the whole day. If you are interested in staying here. There is also a smaller bedroom than the room advertised (smaller price!) but still with plenty of room, which is very pretty and quiet. Formerly an office it is being re-born as a bedroom again! It is great to stay for the weekend or longer, so do get in touch if that suits you. It also has a useful small desk if you should need it for work. There are lots of great restaurants and bars very close by, from traditional British fish and chips to Indian, Morrocan and Thai, plus two well known pubs, one right on the river. Two good supermarkets, plus a gym to work it off if you feel the need There is a peaceful walk along the river via Battersea Park to Chelsea and Knightsbridge. Tomas the cat is always extremely welcoming to visitors, but will leave you alone if you so desire. Next year 2016 we celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday with among other things a tea party for 10,000 people right by Buckingham palace. There will also be lots of other celebrations and it will be another wonderful time. If you are feeling brave this is a good time to hire a car and go and look at our countryside, there are fewer people than in the summer, and you could perhaps visit Highclere where they film Downton Abbey! London is also full of Christmas shopping and also our famous theatres, concerts and shows. There are also new exhibitions all over London including the Victoria and Albert Museum and Kensington Palace, which has now re-opened, (although the appartment where William and Kate have moved into is not on display!), It is also where Princess Diana, Princess Margaret and many others lived which has a display of some of the Queen's and many other dresses. Plus a great historical interactive display. All the places like Hampton Court are open with very interesting displays and wonderful gardens. Plus do not forget the retail therapy in the different areas from Mayfair to Petticoat Lane Market. Guest AccessIn the summer (or even the spring) you are very welcome to sit in the garden and have a cup of tea or a drink and recover from the whirl of sightseeing and shopping! Interaction with GuestsI am in the house most of the time as I work from home and am very happy to help at any time with suggestions (and cups of tea!) when required. The SpacePeaceful 1 bedroom flat in London zone 2. Close to public transport, great parks and playgrounds. Gorgeous, and extremely spacious flat with lovely, big garden in leafy Wandworth - a charming south London village. 1 large reception room, fireplace, 1 double bedrooms. Sun deck and lovely 100ft garden. Perfect family home. Free wireless Everything you need for comfortable stay including high speed internet, laundry, parking. 2 mins walk to regular bus to West End (they come every few minutes and it takes about 35 mins) and the overland train to London Waterloo takes 15 mins. Guest AccessGreat base for family and friends to explore London and relax in comfortable up-scale environment. There are one reception rooms, a galley kitchen that opens onto our garden. We have everything you can possibly need as it is our family home including wifi, a washing machine, drying machine and a full kitchen. This is a non-smoking household Master Bedroom - Super Kingsize Bed A cot bed can be added Interaction with GuestsOur upstairs neighbour will welcome you and settle you in and be available to answer any questions that arise. We are also always available by phone or email. The NeighborhoodThe Neighbourhood Wandsworth town is famed for it's distinctive character of organic food shops, lively bars and great restaurants making it very appealing for young couples and families alike. The Ship on Jews Row, by the river, gets packed when the sun’s out. The Alma opposite Wandsworth Town train station is a lovely old Victorian boozer with Youngs ales and the dining room is good too. The East Hill (probably our closest, just a bit further up Alma Road) is friendly, good food and a decked area outside. . My favourite for Sunday lunch is the County Arms on Trinity Road (5-10 min stroll), excellent roasts, huge decked garden and has Meantime pale ale on tap which is delicious. Other restaurants I’d recommend include Konnigans on Old York Road and Brady’s a specialist fish place in Riverside west development near the Ship. We are 10 minutes from Northcote road which is the place to hang out day or night. By day the wholesome trendy vibe comes from the abundance of cafes with homemade produce, local butchers and fishmongers and pretty boutiques. By night cafes turn into pubs, gastropubs compete to offer the best food and some bars have late licences meaning there’s no need to go into central London for a great night out. We are also only 25mins away from Wimbledon tennis courts by bus. Getting AroundThe transport links are great being less than a 10 minute walk to the nearest train station which will take you in to central London in 15 minutes. It is also ideally located to London gatwick and Heathrow. Other Things to NoteDon't hesitate to get in touch and ask any questions... Make yourselves at home... you have the entire flat at your disposal except for one room which will remain locked We speak English and French
