The SpaceSituated at the unique south-east coast, this spacious house offers peace, freedom and relaxation apart from the big tourist-stream. Just 10 min by car to famous Crane Beach, USA Today's Best Caribbean Beach 2015! The house has ca. 120 square meters and is equipped with handmade furniture. Two big bedrooms with kingsize or queensize beds, one smaller bedroom with 1,20 m bed. Big kitchen with fridge/freezer, gas-stove with grill, coffee-maker, toaster. Solar lights for inside and outside; There is no TV or phone - it's lovely to sit in the cool sea-breeze on the patio enjoying a fresh Banks or a fruity rumpunch. WiFi is available now:) There is no AC, but standing freely provides the house with a fresh breeze; still we recommend using fans in the two rear bedrooms As you can see in the pictures, the house is not completed yet from the outside, this is why I offer this accommodation at a moderate rate. Hot water is also available now:) Guest AccessAll areas in and around the house. Since there is still construction going on, please do not use the staircase, as it is not secured! Interaction with GuestsI myself am not at site, but my family next door is at your disposal at any time. They can also take you to places where the ordinary tourist has no access to, you just have to ask! The NeighborhoodLong Bay is a small village without many tourists, so you live with the locals who are very open and communicative. Long Bay beach and Shark Hole are in walking distance, about 20-25 minutes. Many paradisiac beaches between Crane and Sam Lord's only 5-10 minutes by car. Nearby are several litlle bars and rumshops where the locals lime: - bar with Karaoke ca. 300 m - small shop for drinks and snacks 100 m - restaurants and shops at the Crane Resort ca. 4km - small supermarket nearby, Emerald City ca. 4km - fish-fries in the streets Fridays and Saturdays - Six Roads with shops, banks, post-office, gas-station, doctors/pharmacy ca. 4km Getting AroundBusstop 100m from the house, either southcoast route or from the highway via Six Roads to town, 2$BBD. Car is highly recommended, private driveway and parking at the house Other Things to NoteDon't miss: Oistins-Fish-Fry every Friday night: fresh fish, drinks, music, souvenirs and lots of fun for tourists and locals. The southeast coast has much to discover and explore - please ask the family! Highly recommended: glassbottomboat-tour with snorkeling around the shipwrecks and swimming with turtles! See the eastcoast: Skeetes Bay, Martins Bay and especially Bathsheba have an atmosphere of a bygone time

    Hunter is one of only ten privately-owned villas in the colourful gardens of Castle Close Estate. This cottage offers a spacious living room with peaked ceiling, an adjoining dining room to seat eight, a lovely kitchen with moulded counter tops, and a separate laundry with washer and dryer. An enclosed courtyard, accessed from the master bedroom, dining room, and kitchen, offers private alfresco dining. There are three air-conditioned bedrooms, each equipped with ceiling fans and an ensuite bathroom. The master bedroom contains a king-size bed, and the bathroom has both a shower stall and a tub. One of the other bedrooms is furnished with a king-sized bed and the second with two singles. From a large terrace off the living and dining areas, the soothing sounds of a waterfall by the pool can be enjoyed. The private pool and deck are accessed off this terrace via a short wooden bridge. For those who prefer to sit around the pool in a shaded location, a pagoda has been added to provide some protection from the sun at one end of the pool deck. Naomi, the housekeeper at Hunter cottage for the past twelve years, is there to take care of housekeeping needs such as changing and laundering of linens and cleaning of the cottage. She is experienced enough to deal with this, familiarise you with the cottage and assist you without being intrusive, allowing you to relax completely and enjoy a real vacation.         Coral Villa is set in a lovely peaceful neighbourhood near Sam Lord's Castle, with great views of the Atlantic Ocean. It has been recently renovated/modernised to have 3 ensuite bedrooms with king size beds.There are fans, ac's, and ample closet space in each room. The kitchen is open plan with new stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, and a breakfast bar area! The living room is spacious and leads into the open plan dining area, although most diners prefer the patio table overlooking the pool, where one can enjoy the cool Atlantic breeze and some sea views! The furniture is new and the home is tastefully decorated throughout! There is also full wheelchair accessibility if required. Christmas period Minimum stay is 1 week from Dec 17th 2014 to Jan 11th 2015 Coral villa is located near historical Sam Lords Castle on the South East coast of Barbados. The Atlantic Ocean is viewed from the porch overlooking the swimming pool. The beach is a 4 minutes walk. Crane Beach is a 5 min drive and the supermarket and all other amenities are within an 8 minute drive from the villa. The bus stop is 4 minutes walk, but most tours collect you from the house.

          The SpaceBelair Great House has five bedrooms and sleeps up to ten people. The lower floor consists of a formal dining room, large kitchen, one bedroom, and one bathroom and a wrap-around verandah with patio furniture for relaxing in the breeze overlooking the sea, pool or tennis court. The dining room is a definite reminder of those regal days with a wonderful antique mahogany dining table that seats twelve, mahogany antique sideboards, and a crystal chandelier. With high ceilings and glass panel doors that open our to the lawns facing the ocean and tennis court, the dining room catches the ocean breezes and is a magnificent setting for either formal or more relaxed meals enjoyed by large families or groups of friends. The well equipped kitchen with granite countertops opens out onto the ocean front verandah, which is only a short distance from the sparkling freshwater swimming pool. The bedroom on this floor faces the ocean and has two single beds. Adjacent to the downstairs bedroom, there is a full bathroom with a shower. The upper floor has four bedrooms and two bathrooms. On the back verandah is the living space with push-out shutters and a French door leading out to the covered upstairs wrap-around verandah. This is a tastefully decorated sitting area where guests may relax and watch television or just sit and chat. This verandah also has a bar, an informal dining area that seats eight, and a fully-equipped kitchen, which makes it unnecessary to even go down the stairs to the main kitchen. The bedrooms all look out over the pool and ocean. The master bedroom, with a king-size bed, has an en-suite bathroom, which adjoins a small bedroom with two single beds. The other two bedrooms on this floor have a king and a full sized bed respectively and share the second bathroom. The verandah overlooking the ocean on the upper level is ideal for enjoying the splendid view of the pool, tennis court, expansive lawns and gardens, and ocean - a perfect setting for sipping cocktails and enjoying the moonlight in the evenings. There is comfortable teak and wicker outdoor furniture on this verandah. The pool deck is slightly raised and gated making Belair Great House child friendly. There are chaise longues and Adironack chairs around the pool and a covered gazebo where guests may have lunch or dinner at the large round table which seats ten and overlooks the pool which can be lighted at night. There is also a brick barbeque grill on the deck for easy outdoor cooking and a gas barbeque is also available. If more accommodation is required the old coach house which is less than 100 yards from Belair Great House within the fenced property has been tastefully converted into a three bedroom cottage. The coach house has been finished with hardwood floors, travertine tiles, granite counter tops, and coral stone rendering and ruble stone walls, which preserve the old world character of the property. The cottage features a full-size antique billiards table and tastefully designed bar with a wine cooler, small fridge and microwave below. The billiards room has double French doors opening out to the lawns, allowing the room to catch the fresh breeze blowing in off the ocean. Outside, the large wooden deck area has recently been completely renewed and extended to incorporate a large spa tub offering wonderful views of the ocean. The NeighborhoodThe chalet is located in the rural parish of St. Philip in Barbados away from the more traditional, busy tourist areas on the South & West coast of the island. The villa is in a peaceful area right on the ocean front with stunning panoramic sea views. This is a beautiful, fairly rugged coastline that includes the famous Crane beach (5 minutes drive away) & Bottom Bay (10 minutes drive away). There is a shopping centre located about 10 minutes drive from the chalet that includes a large supermarket, garage, bank, pharmacy & fast food outlet. There are local 'rum shops' within minutes of the chalet. The Crane resort (5 minutes drive) has a number of upmarket restaurants, including Thai. Opposite the Crane is 'Marco Polo' bar & grill, which has quickly become established as a popular watering hole that serves great local food at reasonable prices. Getting AroundThere is a bus stop a short walk from the chalet which has routes to the airport, the south coast & Bridgetown. Taxi & car rental recommendations are available on request. Other Things to NoteOur ocean front chalet can be enjoyed in Barbados all of the year with perfect daytime and evening temperatures. It tends to be less breezy, with calmer sea in the summer months (June to September), making swimming and snorkelling at the small beach within a few steps of the chalet a perfect way to keep cool and enjoy some exercise. The summer can be an exciting time in Barbados with the famous 'Cropover Festival', taking place in July and August. In addition, the many golf courses can be enjoyed in Barbados all the year round.

          Garden View suite is self contained with a luxury bathroom and small kitchenette, which is fully equipped with all the essentials. It is situated on the ground floor of the main plantation house and has its own entrance, with french doors opening on to a big patio, which overlooks the pool. The patio is a sun trap until quite late in the afternoon, although it is shaded by an overhead verandah. The property Pollards Mill is very peaceful and unique it is a beautiful location with wonderful grounds and stunning views to the ocean in the distance. It is private, but within easy reach of the famous Crane beach and resort, where there are plenty of restaurants This is not a holiday venue for guests looking for razamatazz!!

                          Garden View suite is self contained with a luxury bathroom and small kitchenette, which is fully equipped with all the essentials. It is situated on the ground floor of the main plantation house and has its own entrance, with french doors opening on to a big patio, which overlooks the pool. The patio is a sun trap until quite late in the afternoon, although it is shaded by an overhead verandah. The property Pollards Mill is very peaceful and unique it is a beautiful location with wonderful grounds and stunning views to the ocean in the distance. It is private, but within easy reach of the famous Crane beach and resort, where there are plenty of restaurants This is not a holiday venue for guests looking for razamatazz!! A refundable deposit of 100 pounds is required on arrival to cover any damages or breakages The prices are inclusive of VAT. Pollards Mill is situated in an elevated position, which looks down to the sea, there is always a good breeze here. It is very close to the world famous Crane resort and Crane beach. The resort boasts several restaurants, which range from gourmet dining to light snacks. Bathsheba an area of outstanding natural beauty is about 20 minutes drive from here.
