The large grassy backyard is complemented by our beautiful lap pool (unheated and UNFENCED), which is 3-5 feet deep and perfect for that morning dip or a game of pool volleyball! Enjoy the lighted poolside gazebo and firepit after your swim, with spectacular views of the vineyards and mountains. There are 3 main bedrooms with one guest bedroom off of the master suite, along with the sunroom (our favorite part of the house) that has a twin daybed and 4 additional fold out twin cots. The master suite with European king bed, fireplace and flat screen T.V., has its own large bathroom with jacuzzi tub, walk-in shower with bench seating open area toilet (no door separating the toilet from the main bathroom) and double sink. Huge windows surrounding the tub make for an amazing soak. A large walk-in closet, separate vanity and dresser. There is a small guest bedroom with a twin bed, off of the master suite, with views of the backyard. It has its own door separating it from the master, with a little sitting area; perfect for a single guest. At the far end of the house are two more bedrooms. These bedrooms share a full bath with tub shower and one sink. One bedroom has a California king bed and the other, a Queen bed. Both have flat screen T.V.s. and views of the back property. The sunroom: this is a unique part of the home. It was structured to attract the heat from the sun, while remaining cool at night, with large landscaping windows all along its edge. It is the perfect place to feel like you're sleeping in the great outdoors, while being in the safety of the indoors. You will fall asleep to the sounds of wildlife and cool air and awake to the beautiful sunrise. There is one twin daybed and 4 twin cots for those who love to wake up with the sun! There are two more additional 1/2 baths: one in the large laundry room and one along the main hallway of the home. There is WiFi 24/7, though remember cell service is spotty, with text messaging working well. We have a landline for local call use. We have DirecTV for your T.V. viewing pleasure, jigsaw puzzles, board games, cards, poker chips, etc. We are very close to Bell Street Los Alamos, which has some great restaurants and wine tasting, as well as 2 small markets for incidentals. Solvang, Chumash Casino, and Los Olivos are all close by and we urge you to explore them! Guest AccessAs you will find, most of our guests enjoy the serenity and beauty of the property so much, they cancel dinner reservations just to be able to cook a great meal at home, enjoying good music along with a glass of their favorite wine. But if you prefer to dine out, there are some fine restaurants to choose from right in our own backyard on Bell street, along with many other places of interests in the surrounding area. Since this is a very large ranch with other's residing on it, we must restrict access to some parts of it. The horse property portion is leased to a resident horse trainer and is OFF LIMITS. We have an on-site manager for the vineyard ONLY and he is not to be bothered with maintenance requests. You and your guests are welcome to walk on the maintained vineyard roads directly surrounding the property. No vehicles are permitted on the vineyard roads. There is a tool room (3rd car garage) which is locked for our private use. Interaction with GuestsWe appreciate that you've chosen our home as your destination location. We are available via text or Airbnb if you have a questions or concerns. The NeighborhoodSanta Ynez, Los Alamos, Los Olivos, Solvang, Santa Maria, Buellton...all are wonderful places to visit and are nearby. Our welcome packet will include any current local events you might find of interest. Getting AroundWe are 16 miles from the Santa Maria airport, 27 miles from the Santa Ynez airport and 54 miles from the Santa Barbara airport. We are 3.8 miles from Bell Street Los Alamos Other Things to NoteWe are NOT the Ritz Carlton. If you do not appreciate the outdoors, wildlife and fresh air, then our property may not be the one for you. There are resident outside dogs on our property, not owned by us. "Loba" may make her way up to the house for a visit, though she is very friendly and a great set of eyes and ears during the night Our property is a bit far from the nearest major supermarket, so make certain you buy what you need prior to arriving. This way, you can enjoy your stay to the fullest!

The SpaceThe Green Room is a large upstairs bedroom with a comfy queen bed and south-facing views of the hills around Los Alamos. A 50" TV with Dish cable, Wi-Fi, and a cozy reading nook will keep you entertained on breaks from wine tasting or exploring our little Western town. Guest AccessYour room is private and locks for your security. The windows are frosted with privacy glass so you can wake up to the sun without the neighbors peering in, but the blackout shade and curtains can keep it dark for those who like to wake with their own alarm clock. Your luxury bathroom upstairs with vintage claw foot tub and shower enclosure is shared if The Gold Room is occupied, or private if it isn't. In any situation, there is a second full bathroom available for your convenience, so you'll never be stuck waiting for a shower. The rest of our home is yours to relax in, as well. We have great outdoor spaces including a fire pit, side patio dining area, and our "spirit sanctuary," a chill out space with a dart board and speaker. Our comfy living room has a large couch, 55" TV and gas fireplace. Coffee and tea are available every morning. Our kitchen is well-equipped, though we ask that you check with us in advance if you want to do any cooking beyond simply heating something up. You're welcome to some space in the fridge. Interaction with GuestsWe live here full time, but also travel quite often. We work from home when we are here, so home most of the time. Everything is automated, so if we are traveling you will have no problems and we are always just a text away to answer questions, and our property manager is very quick to answer in an emergency situation. If we are around, we're happy to give you suggestions for exploring the area. We also cook and grill a lot, and are happy to share. The NeighborhoodLos Alamos is a very charming old western town, a former stagecoach line stop... and our front yard has the stagecoach to commemorate it. It's great for selfies. Walk to many great restaurants and tasting rooms, like Full of Life Flatbread, Casa Dumetz Wines, Charlie's Burgers, or Pico at the General Store. We are 15-20 minutes from several lovely towns and villages like Los Olivos, Solvang, Buellton, and Santa Ynez, full of tasting rooms, art galleries, and more great restaurants. If you need a Target or Trader Joe's, Santa Maria is a larger city the same distance away (just head north instead of south on Route 101). The Santa Ynez Valley and Santa Barbara County are full of fantastic vineyards and wineries, with tasty wines and friendly people. It's like a tiny Napa with none of the attitude. We have many great winery recommendations for you and are even happy to help you sample your day's purchases, if you need us to. Getting AroundPlenty of street parking - room for two vehicles per guest. If you have a trailer or RV, we have 30 feet of off-street parking for that as well. Other Things to NoteIf the Green Room is booked, or if you're traveling with more than two people, check out our other listing, the Gold Room: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/15615786 Small print (feel free to ignore, potential and returning guests!): For Santa Barbara county tax purposes, $60 from each reservation goes to a cleaning fee. The cleaning fee is baked into the price you pay, instead of surprising you after your search with a higher fee, we keep it simple for you - no extra fees.

The SpaceThe only problem with this space is that you may not want to leave it. The outdoor areas are so inviting. There are two extremely comfortable anti gravity chairs that you can relax in on the deck. Watch the Big Screen TV outside or inside, even from the hot tub. Light a fire in the rock campfire pit to enjoy while you BBQ on the small Weber or the big one. Guest AccessAll areas of the house are available for your use including kitchen, dining table, refrigerator, both bathrooms, laundry room. Your private guest bathroom is attached to your bedroom. It's a custom bathroom with large glass shower, and host designed antique vanity sink. Interaction with GuestsThe main reason I wanted to host was to meet interesting people from all over. But if you want privacy, let me know and I'll make sure your stay is peaceful and uninterrupted. Your host knows the area well, and will be glad to point you in the right direction to find the entertainment you are looking for, whether it be wine tasting, antique shopping, beach combing, golfing, hiking, you decide. Getting AroundThere is plenty of parking at the home, and the entire town is within walking distance. I have a couple of old mountain bikes that you are welcome to use and ride around town. Other Things to NoteYou've got to like dogs and cats. Your bedroom is cat and dog free. But they have free roam of the rest of the house. The two cats are indoor/outdoor and roam as they please.
