The SpaceThe Space What makes our space unique is the giant sky and green valley located between austere mountains and sage brush fields. Our home site views right down the valley to the sunset that is always a great show. We are offering an introductory rate this summer of $85 per night. We can comfortably sleep 2 in the studio apartment on a queen size bed at this time. The apartment is upstairs and has fantastic views from a spacious elevated deck of Mt. McCaleb and the Lost River Range. We cannot accept children at this time because the main house is still under construction, although almost finished. In the future we will welcome children. Dogs must be kenneled and or clean when entering the studio. If you visit during chilly weather the room has a wood stove to keep you toasty warm. Backup electric is also available. Guest AccessThe Studio offers a minimal kitchen with sink, toaster oven and small fridge, coffee pot, assortment of teas and basic condiments. We have another fridge in the garage for 6 packs, etc. It offers a shower bathroom, high cedar ceilings, and a 360 degree view. We generally serve a full breakfast brought to the studio apartment at 8am or when you want. Other serving times can be specially arranged for travelers and hunters...people on the go. Access to the organic garden in the summer. Dinner can be reserved with a general 24 hours notice, but sometimes I can pull it together with less notice. Don't be afraid to ask... and I do love to cook! Prices range from 10 to 20 dollars, depending on menu and should be paid in cash or check. Please note that it is difficult to dine out on Sundays in Mackay, fast food being the only option. Please note that Mackay is at 6,000 foot elevation.
