The NeighborhoodCopacabana has a relaxed seaside atmosphere and is surrounded by beach, lagoon and national parks. It is only 60-90 mins drive from Sydney and is located close to other popular beaches such as Avoca, Terrigal and McMasters. Both Copacabana Beach & Macmasters Beaches are patrolled throughout Summer so you can relax and enjoy the water with peace of mind.
If you are a keen surfer you won't be disappointed as you have plenty of choice from Copa to Macmasters and it's also only a 5 min drive to Avoca so regardless of the swell you're sure to get a great ride on the waves...
The CopaView Beach House has a fantastic location with magnificent views from the glassed-in verandah over Copa Beach, across to Macmasters Beach and out to sea. Approx 100 metre stroll to the patrolled northern end of Copacabana beach, surf club, rock pool (ideal for snorkelling and younger children), lagoon, great playground, cafes, village shops, restaurants etc.
Located between Avoca Beach and McMasters Beach, surrounded by Bouddi National Park, about 15 minutes drive from Terrigal, 60-90 minutes drive from Sydney, Copacabana offers all the action (or relaxation) without the noisy crowds.
Copacabana has one of the best point breaks on the East Coast and is close to all amenities - ocean boat ramp, Crown Plaza Resort (Terrigal), surf beaches restaurants, golf courses (at Gosford and Woy Woy) and driving range only 10 mins away at Kincumber where there are also more shops, a cinema supermarket and Hotel/pub. Only 5 minutes drive to Avoca Beach and you will find paddle boats on the river and the award winning Avoca Beach Theatre, voted best Regional independent cinema in Australia, or in the other direction you can enjoy one of the best dining and cocktail experiences at 'Big Day Out' founder Ken West and his partner's Mexican utopia, Rojo Rocket.
A 20 minute drive brings you to Erina Fair Shopping Plaza and access to Brisbane Water for more water sports..
Surrounded by national parks & inland waterways there is plenty to do - swimming, surfing, tennis, kayaking, fishing, prawning, boating and bush-walking. Also at Copa youll find a Whale watching platform and Captain Cook lookout which gives a great view up and down the coast. Getting AroundThe best and most convenient way to get to Copacabana is by car. You can also take a bus from Gosford station although the trip is rather slow. Alternatively, ferries run from Palm Beach to Wagstaff and buses also run from here though not very frequently. However, it is worth the effort as once you arrive there is no need to drive anywhere else. All you need for a relaxed sea-side escape is at your doorstep - shops, cafes, general store, pharmacy and lots of sun, sand and surf! If you do feel the need to explore Terrigal is 15 mins drive (shopping, restaurants and beach), Avoca is only 5 mins drive away with more restaurants and cinema and Erina Fair (about 15 mins) with its large shopping centre and cinema complex, restaurants and ice skating rink.
