The SpaceYou will be surrounded by tropical forest, fruit trees and our thousands of insect eating plants. You can sample our fruits at no charge if available. There are hiking trails nearby and several mountains that can be climbed without need for transportation. You room doesn't have or need aircon as it gets cold at night (14-18 C). There is hot water powered 100% by solar even on rainy days. Our toilets are flushed with rain water. Be inspired how to provide a comfortable stay with minimal impact on nature. Guest AccessWe also have a zipline (use for multi-day guests only at a charge), option for campfire, volleyball/badminton area, pond, outdoor hot-tubs (charge applies). Greenhouse tours can be negotiated, too :) Interaction with GuestsWe live in the building next to our guest house and can be seen/talked to during day time :) We are a German/Filipino family based homestay, so you are dealing mostly with the owners personally and most people learn a bit about plants and renewable energies during their stay if they want to :) The NeighborhoodCool climate, much better than the famous beaches! :) Cicades, frogs, owls, tons of nature experience. Our farm feels far off civilization and is a bit cooler than Malaybalay, but actually we are just a short 3km busride from the next mall. Malaybalay City has a perfect size, not too big to suffocate in traffic, not too small to be boring. Lots of cafes and restaurants to try! For sightseeing, there is horse riding, waterfalls, mountains (among others the 2nd highest of the Phils), birdwatching, spring resorts, adventure parks and the famous monastery of the transfiguration nearby. Getting AroundWe are 400 meters from the highway. Here you can catch a multicab going downtown (every minute, minimum fare), or a bus to Cagayan de Oro or Davao, Gensan, etc. The multicabs can also be hired to bring/get you from the farm. Some of the restaurants deliver to our farm. Other Things to NotePlease make sure to communicate with us, prior to your arrival, our place is a little hidden and some people find it hard find. We can send you a map. As we are also on some other online booking systems it is good if you verify personally, if we have rooms available for your desired schedule.
