The SpaceThe home is in a typical leafy inner Melbourne suburb close to Monash University precinct and many forms of transport (tram, train, buses) and good multicultural eating houses, all of this eight minutes walk from home. Guest AccessMy partner Geoff and I have a city house and a country home that we share. Sometimes we are in the country home,I will do my best to, make sure that I am here, to welcome our guests when they arrive.I will make arrangments for the key to be handed to you,if I am not at home. Guests will have their own sun-drenched living room and bathroom. The bedroom can get a little dark on cloudy days. The above areas can be locked off for total privacy. The rear of the house has our own bedroom, bathroom and living room, the kitchen and dining areas are shared with guests, who are most welcome to use them. However I will provide breakfast including cereals, seasonal fresh fruit, tea and coffee.Please note there is no television in your lounge room. Interaction with GuestsInteraction with guests can be according to their desire. I'm here to assist when you need it, and I'm interested in cooking, yoga and meditation and guests are welcome to join me in my routine if they so wish. The NeighborhoodThe neighbourhood is in a quiet and safe area with many elegant homes and gardens. There are two parks, Central and Caulfield ten minutes walk away from home. Tennis courts for hire 2 minutes walk away in the local primary school. "The Gables", a renowned reception centre, is on the next street. There are several very old churches also in this area, and a gym 2 minutes walk from home, the Harold Holt swimming sauna and spa centre is twenty minutes walk (ten minutes bike ride), there is a lady's bike and helmet available for use at home. Getting AroundMany forms of public transport (train, tram and buses) to Melbourne CBD, St Kilda Beach and Chapel Street, Chadstone, Glenferrie Road and Carnegie shopping precincts, some of these easily accessible on foot (twenty minutes walk (URL HIDDEN) get to Caulfield station from the Airport,use the Sky Bus to get to Southern Cross station,cost is $18 and travel time 30 mins.Then take local train to Caulfield station,cost approx.$(URL HIDDEN) time15 mins.You will need to buy a Myki card at the station for this trip.The train lines to Caulfield are Pakenham, Cranbourne,Frankston lines.From Caulfield it is a 10 mins walk to the house.Or you can take a taxi cost approx. $10 Other Things to NoteThe Caulfield race course and the Albert Park Grand Prix course are easily accessible (the former on foot, the latter by public transport).I am able to pick you up from Caulfield station if I am free to do so on the day of your arrival.

This is a friendly and quiet environment where you can study in peace & quiet after school or a day out. There are 3 rooms in total so if you're looking for more than one room please view our other listings. Linen and towels are provided. Clothes line is also available for use. I love to sit on the couch and have a glass of white wine and look at the fairy lights view and you might even see a possum climb the tree! Booking here you will receive welcome booklet that has tips ect and additional house rules. Located opposite Caulfield Racecourse and walking distance to Monash University and Caulfield Railway Station. Also very close to a range of excellent restaurants in Caulfield, Elsternwick, Glen Huntly and Malvern. Guest AccessCar park is at the end of the driveway. You access the apartment by climbing stairs in the middle of the building and turning right and walking to the end. Communal laundry turn the power in the meter box adjoining the sliding entry door and in the laundry plug in the power point to 12 on the first floor. Your welcome to use washing powder. The SpaceA lovely roomy 1910 Caulfield house that has been renovated with all the mod-cons. Lovely light and spacious open-plan kitchen and eating area (bbq outside on deck), adjoining a TV room with comfy couches. Two out of the 5 rooms have beds; the main bedroom has a king size bed and the other bedroom has a double bed. A baby can also be accommodated in another room if you have a portacot. There are also two rooms which currently function as studies. We have WIFI, split system heating and cooling and evaporative air con in the house. Guest AccessWe will leave you the key in a key safe and give you the code after finalising the booking. Interaction with GuestsWe will be contactable throughout your stay if you have any questions. The NeighborhoodWe are around the corner from the huge, beautiful Caulfield park and a 3 minute walk to the Caulfield Station, from where you can access the CBD in around 10-15 minutes. We are a 30 second walk to the Caulfield racecourse and a quick tram ride from the cafe culture of Carlisle Street, Acland and Fitzroy streets, and the st kilda beach. It is vibrant, multi cultural and with plenty to do. It has great restaurants for all tastes, coffee shops, shopping, markets and activities such as beaches, theatre, festivals, wineries and night life all year around. The city main and best areas to explore are: - CBD: City center with its sky scrappers, museums, famous lane ways, Casino, shopping, China Town and plenty of restaurants and bars. - St Kilda: funky beach with lots of restaurants, bars, night life and home to the Formula 1 Grand Prix in the Albert Park (March). - Prahran (Chapel St), Fitzroy (Brunswick St), Richmond (home to the Australian Open Tennis in January) are also highly recommended. You can also visit wild life sanctuaries in Healesville and Ballarat, where you can pat Kangaroos and Koalas. They are all about 1 hour drive. Getting AroundIt takes 5 minutes to walk to the trains (Glenhuntly Station). The train ride to Melbourne CBD takes approx. 15 mins. If guests arrive at Melbourne International Airport there is a bus service to Southern Cross Station (Melbourne CBD). From there it is a 20-minute ride on the Frankston Line to Glenhuntly Station. The level of interaction required is entirely up to the guests. The NeighborhoodThe Caulfield Racecourse is opposite. If you are an early riser, you can see the horses galloping along from your bedroom. The area is a quiet residential neighbourhood with mainly period homes. The racecourse can be accessed for walks except for race days. As the University is nearby, there is a diverse range of cafes and restaurants within an easy walk. Getting AroundThe railway station is 5 minutes away and is a major station with frequent trains to the city. Trams can also be accessed nearby and can be used to go to St Kilda and the Beach. My home is less than a 10minute walk to MONASH UNIVERSITY, Caulfield Campus. My home is located in a no through road and is opposite Caulfield Park which includes a 2.5km running track. Located in close proximity to the cafe/bar lifestyle of Fitzroy St, Acland St, Carlisle St and the beach lifestyle of Stkilda beach. Getting AroundAt the end of my street is the tram stop and the train station is a 10 minute walk which has direct routes to the city in 10-15 minutes. The neighbours in the apartment are great, very quiet and courteous:) Close to a Coles supermarket (1 minute away!) and all public transport (2 minutes to the Caulfield train station and tram stop) Great takeaway places within 2 minutes walk for delicious takeaway! Getting AroundCaulfield station has three train lines passing through (Cranbourne, pakenham and Frankston lines) so trains come through very frequently! If you get on an express to the city it only takes 11 minutes on the train to get to the CBD Trams 3a and 3 also run very frequently 5 minute walk to Caulfield Monash campus If you are a Monash Clayton student there is a free shuttle bus that runs frequently from the Caulfield campus to Clayton campus (approx 15 minutes) Other Things to NoteIf would like to stay on a longer term basis after September then we can work out a cheaper weekly or monthly rate:) If you are staying for more than 2 weeks a security deposit of $125 is required upon arrival:)

The NeighborhoodGlenhuntly is one of Melbournes smallest suburbs which contributes to the quiet nature of the neighbourhood. Glenhuntly village as a 5 minute walk is full of great food choices including pizza, multiple take away restaurants including Chinese, Indian, Thai and all the other shops you might need such as a Woolworths Supermarket, 2 bottle shops, chemist, and a fantastic restaurant 2 minutes from my house - the servery - with mid week meal specials. Getting AroundSuper convenient public transport is very nearby. 250 metres walk will get you to Glenhuntly station which has a 15 minute train ride into the city. Taking the train in the other direction will get you to some of Port Phillip bay's beaches such as Mordialloc and Aspendale. The same walk will also take you to a tram stop which will transport you to St Kilda, Albert Park and onwards into the city. A 10 minute walk will take you to a local rooftop bar, and a bus route that goes towards Elwood.

Interaction with GuestsI am available for guests to contact me between 8am and 10pm daily The NeighborhoodThis neighbourhood is in a great location as is not in the hustle and bustle of the city but is still only a short distance away from many attractions that are easily accessible by public transport or car. Only 36 minutes from Melbourne Airport and 6 minutes to the Fwy. Caulfield Racecourse is an 8 minute walk away which also makes it the perfect spot to stay for the spring racing carnival. Chadstone Shopping Centre (the largest in the Southern Hemisphere) is just a short 5 minute drive or bus ride away. The city is only 5 stops as well as all the major sporting venues. Catch the tram from out the front door to the famous St Kilda Beach which is only a 20 min journey. Getting AroundThere are 3 types of public transport. A 2 minute walk to the tram stop, 8 minute walk to Caulfield train station and a 6 minute walk to the bus stop. There is only 5 stops on the train into the city and only takes 20 minutes on the tram out the front door to get to St Kilda beach which is full of bars and restaurants.
