Located in the center of the Island of Jamaica, about 2000 feet above sea level you will find the town of Mandeville. An average daily of 84 degrees F and average night time temperatures of 70 F certainly give Mandeville an ideal climate.
Mandeville is unlike other rural Jamaican towns: it is cool, it is clean, and there are no inner city areas.. Mandeville is a popular destination for Jamaicans returning from abroad to find the perfect place for retirement. Thanks to energetic promotion by the Central and South Coast Tourism Organization, the town is a magnet for discerning visitors and an excellent base for exploring the central hills and the south coast of Jamaica.
In Mandeville's benign climate, both temperate and tropical plants flourish: agapanthus lilies and sweet peas beside hibiscus and bougainvillea, robust vanda orchids beneath peach and lychee trees, begonias and nasturtiums growing wild on the bank sides. Mandeville has one of the oldest Horticultural Societies in the world and is famous for its annual Flower Show and splendid private gardens, some of which can be toured by appointment.
The property is located within walking distance of the Manchester Golf and Tennis Club, founded in 1868, the oldest golf course in the Caribbean. Shopping Plazas, with ATM Machines, a variety of stores, Pharmacies, Supermarkets, Hospitals, several first-class restaurants, a large public library - the first 'Free Library' in Jamaica, established in 1938, and the oldest Parish Library in the island, are also within walking distance.
The Villa - a traditionally designed and furnished, comfortable, country home, is situated on an acre of fruited, immaculately landscaped lawns and gardens, with all the charm and warmth of a time-honoured Jamaican family home.
The house features an intriguing layout around an indoor garden (Atrium). The elegantly furnished Master Bedroom Suite plus three other distinctively furnished bedrooms with their own bathroom, seating area and flat screen TV, are pleasing features. In addition, there is a spacious formal living room with seating for 8 persons, a Conservatory/Library and all the modern amenities of executive living.
Relax in the Atrium by the fountain in the evenings, and enjoy the moonlight, while sipping your favourite drink - very romantic!
Guests may opt for Bed and Breakfast only, OR may wish to rent the entire Villa. In the latter case, our Housekeeper/Cook will prepare delicious meals to your specifications, as well as do grocery shopping, laundry, and baby sit.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all essential utensils, including fridge, stove oven, dish washer, small appliances, pots, pans and all dishes to accommodate 8 persons.
The property is very securely, grilled and meshed with on property complimentary parking, and a 2-car garage with remote door.
This is the venue for the discriminating traveller who wants to get to know the real Jamaica and not one who prefers to lie by the pool or the beach.

Mandeville sits atop a range of mountains which reach as far as 2000 feet above sea level, providing spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. The high altitude is responsible for our cool climate. On average the temperature is 70º F, (23º C), a stark contrast to coastal locations in this tropical island.
The House is located in a quiet, secure suburb of the town of Mandeville, on an acre of well-kept lawns and gardens. We are very near to the town centre and accessible to shopping malls, pharmacies, excellent restaurants, cinema and within walking distance of the Manchester Golf and Tennis Club.
