The SpaceI would describe my apartment as quiet, cosy and relaxing. In the morning, the sunlight fills the living area through the French doors that open out into my courtyard, which is surrounded by my neighbours' large trees. Alas, my own garden is a bit sparse, but I find it a delight to sit out here during the day and look up through the branches of the large Jarrah overhanging my fence while I enjoy a cup of tea. At nighttime, you can open the doors up and let in the sea breeze or watch the moon rising over the Willow tree next door.
Between my collecting habits and a recent refurbishment, my apartment has acquired a modern retro vintage vibe and features stainless steel appliances, split system air conditioning/heating, an ensuite bathroom with washer/dryer, TV and unlimited WiFi, set amongst bric-a-brac and 20th Century decor! There are also many books, DVDs, comics, knitting and crochet to enjoy, and if you're musically inclined you're welcome to play my guitar.
In terms of guest numbers, the super comfy Queen bed in the main bedroom is perfect for 1 or 2 people. However, if you're ok with living a little crowded, up to 4 guests can be accommodated with the double sofa bed, which takes up most of the living area when unfolded. Towels, bedding and essential amenities are included. Guest AccessGuests have access to the whole apartment, courtyard and a secure off-street parking space. Interaction with GuestsI will be away on holiday but will be contactable by phone call, text or email. If you need assistance at the property, I have provided a list of friends that will be happy to help you out. Their details will be left on the kitchen bench for you upon arrival. The NeighborhoodThe apartment is in a quiet area of Como, not far from the Canning River, Canning Bridge and access to the Kwinana Freeway. Perth CBD is easily accessible via bus or train and there are many things to see and do locally.
Go for a walk along the river while you're here and enjoy beautiful sunsets over the Swan River and spectacular views of the Perth CBD, Kings Park, Swan Brewery and Matilda Bay. There are so many birds and other wildlife to see along the river, including dolphins!
Aside from the river, near the apartment are two large parks, cafes, restaurants, take away stores, a small supermarket and bakery within d like to do some shopping or see a movie. Getting AroundEasily accessible location. Only a 2-minute walk to the no. 30 bus, which goes through South Perth on the way to the CBD, stopping at Perth Zoo. Or a short 15-minute walk to Canning Bridge train station (2 stops from Perth Central station) and bus station with buses heading to the CBD and Fremantle.
Also in a great location for getting around on your bike. It is less than 1km to bike paths that take you all the way to the city along the gorgeous Canning and Swan Rivers. Or you can follow the bike path over the Canning Bridge and follow the river west all the way to Fremantle, about 18km away. There are also bike paths along most local road verges and the footpaths are bike friendly.
Secure parking available for free on site if you have a car. Other Things to NoteAlthough I have done my best to provide you with a clean place to stay, my cat Doris (who will also be away on holiday) may have left some of her fur behind on things. You may want to consider this before booking if you have any allergies.
