The SpaceAre you wanting to come to Storrs to catch a show, visit friends or family nearby or at UConn, or just to get away? Come!
The Space: A private studio apartment within a historic home located on a quiet lovely street, also flanked by historic homes of lovely neighbors. 1.5 miles from UConn, with trails to the Nipmuck and Fenton River.
2 double beds, bathroom, efficiency kitchen, and access to full kitchen in a shared music room/common room. Cozy for a weekend retreat, Boston-NY midway meet-up, or graduation celebration!
The apartment will someday be for aging mothers, but for now they visit only from time to time!
About us: We are young, professional, and tidy. We also love to live, laugh and have fun. In a world of giant houses but limited community... we are looking forward to making a bit of extra money and to sharing our great space with you. In particular, the house has a rich cultural and artistic history and we look forward to sharing it!
Jess and Andrew Guest AccessGuest Access: Full access to entire studio apartment. Access to common lounge that has piano and full kitchen.
Additional amenities: We play music (there is a piano and there are electric and acoustic guitars you are welcome to use), garden a bit (there is a pond, 7 acre property, gazebo, gardens, boat, and ample picnic and BBQ spaces you are welcome to use), and have a small baby (there is a pack-n-play crib and various useful baby things available upon request). Interaction with GuestsInteraction with guests: We anticipate that interaction would mostly be minimal. We are happy of course to communicate to answer any questions. The NeighborhoodNeighborhood Overview: Safe town and neighborhood, beautiful property, hiking trails directly behind house, lovely neighbors, 1.5 miles from UConn. Getting AroundWe generally walk the trails and around the property, bike to the grocery store, but drive elsewhere. Other Things to NotePlease note: The access to the studio apartment requires ascending a 16 foot spiral staircase (see photos).
