Situated on the Great Taste of Tasman cycle trail which runs from to Kaiteriteri, where the ferry transports you from Mapua to Rabbit Island. There you can picnic on the golden sands, cycle the gentle loop or carry on the trail to Nelson.
There are a multitude of road, mountain biking and walking/tramping trails around the Nelson/Tasman region of varying degrees of length and difficulty.
