VILLAROSA is a luxurious 3 bedroom detached villa, set in a beautiful location on the side of the Maroni valley with panoramic views of the village, mountains and down the valley to the Mediterranean. With fields on 3 sides, it is in a tranquil rural location, yet only minutes from Maroni Village or the beach.
Comfortably furnished with Italian furniture, Villarosa is suitable for a family or couples. All bedrooms have their own balconies and panoramic views. The spacious grounds, which are maintained by a pool boy and a gardener, are very secluded and have a large private pool with different terraces and areas on a number of levels to relax, including the grass topped pergola overlooking the pool.
The villa is 1Km from the village and 2Km from the small developed Maroni beach with its beach cafĂŠ, sunbeds and umbrellas and just 4Km from the main highway to Limassol, Larnaca and Nicosia. For daily needs, Maroni has a supermarket, butcher, mini-market, post office and a bank. Similar facilities can be found in the surrounding villages, including an excellent bakery and a petrol station at Zyggi Crossroads, a few Km away.
Villarosa is fully equipped for self-catering, including a gas barbecue on the lower terrace, but for eating out, the area is well served by restaurants and tavernas.
Children of all ages are are welcome, but younger ones should be accompanied in the pool area. Different levels make the villa unsuitable for those with mobility problems.

The Maroni valley is situated on the on the central southern coast of Cyprus, between Larnaca and Limassol and is known to have been populated since around 7,000 years BC with the present site of Maroni Village since the 16th century. Originally a port on the seashore, it came to the fore during the late Bronze Age with the trading of Cyprus copper around the eastern Mediterranean. A number or archaeological sites can be visited in the area.
The Maroni area is principally agricultural, with fields of various crops as well as numerous orange and lemon groves. Towards the sea, the farming is mostly vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers as well as water melons and honeydew melons. A popular fruit & vegetable shack near the beach sells fresh produce from the surrounding fields.Maroni is ideally situated for exploring the rest of Cyprus.
The picturesque mountain village of Lefkara - famous for its silver workshops and traditional lace, made popular by Queen Victoria, is just 20 minutes away. The main seaside towns of Limassol and Larnaca are both under 30 minutes away and the capital of Nicosia is a little more. Closer to the villa, the fishing village of Zyggy is 10 minutes away with it's new marina and many seafood restaurants and cafes.
