The hacienda is newly renovated for the vacationer. The kitchen is stocked with full cookware– as well as utensils. The bathroom is stocked with towels, and linens are provided for sleeping. The two main bedrooms each feature a contemporary king-size platform bed and a hammock for your daily siesta. High ceilings give you a sense of openness, and the large ground-to-ceiling windows let in abundant light to brighten the room. The livingroom furnished with antiques is ideal for watching a flat screen 42” HDTV, and relax with your afternoon drink in the small bar while you admire the sunset.
The hacienda has been slowly renovated by owner, making it ideal for vacationers who appreciate a sense of peace and nature. When you email or call you are speaking directly with the owners, not a management company. We live part time in Mérida and part time at the hacienda. We offer personalized service and meet all our guests upon arrival for check-in. You are our guest during your stay in our beautiful place and we strive to make your stay as comfortable as we can. Hacienda San Fernando is a small estate located on the Yucatan Peninsula, San Fernando is surrounded by a small Mayan community, therefore the settlers even speak the Mayan dialect. Surrounded with the Yucutan jungle, San Fernando it’s located only 7 km from the town of Maxcanú, 70 km from Campeche and 65 km from Mérida. We are a short driving distance from the Mayan ruins of Oxkintoc, and the Calcehtoh caverns. This is a getaway you will never forget.
