The NeighborhoodThe neighbourhood is a mix of residential properties and holiday accommodation. Witin a few minutes walk you reach the first of many restaurants supermakets and shops etc which serve the local community and tourists. Getting AroundThe nearest bus stop is less than 50 yards away and the nearest taxi rank is 5 minutes walk. But as it is only $1 for a bus journey of any length you should do some exploring of the island by bus. The Sanctuary Cafe which is located at the Graeme Hall Nature Sanctuary is just a few bus stops away where you can enjoy natures best while having a nice cup of coffee or any other beverage. A neighborly oasis in the heart of the south coast. Supermarkets, bars, restaurants, beaches and beach bars are all within walking distance. Getting AroundThe bus stop is about 50 yards/meter away. There are buses, mini-buses and route-taxis going to the capital Bridgetown and to other parts of the island until midnight. The bus fare is $ 2.00 BDS. The apartments are semi attached to the main 3 bedroom beach guesthouse Cleverdale in Barbados. Free Wi-Fi but you can only use wireless if you bring your own laptop or devise. This advertisement is for a tropical designed self contained studio apartment which have their own side entrance. The studio apartments are different sized and furnished. Guest-house Studio apartments: Living - bedroom, en-suite bath. SAT-TV, Stereo-system and telephone. Kitchenette. Dining table is available on the veranda or you can eat at the beach if you like as the Government provide tables at this beach.               The SpaceThe house is 4,000 sq ft with two floors connected by a spiral staircase in the centre with ocean views greeting you from every window in the house. On the ground floor is an open plan living room and kitchen while the bedrooms are on the first floor. The distance to the beach and the gap from this location are less than a mile each. This works out to either a minute drive or 10-15 min walk and can be confirmed via a Maps app by typing Graeme Hall Rd to Dover Beach or Graeme Hall Rd to The Gap. And last but not least there's a rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the entire South Coast, from the Lighthouse in the east to The Hilton in Bridgetown. Ground Floor The ground floor is a spacious open plan area with bright porcelain tiles and lots of natural lighting. Living Room The living room has soft lighting, leather couches and a 46" Samsung flat screen complete with Apple TV for entertainment purposes. Guests are provided free access to Netflix which can also be accessed via a free iPad that is provided for the duration of your stay. Kitchen The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances which include a fridge, oven, microwave, toaster, electric kettle and dishwasher for your convenience. If needed, the kitchen can be stocked with any food items or beverages required by you and your guests prior to your stay. First Floor The entire upstairs has beautiful parquet porcelain tiled floors which gives the space a warm, relaxed feel that conveniently compliments the lovely views of both the sea and the island. First bedroom The first bedroom has a queen sized bed, bedside tables with lamps on either side along with a table at the front of the bed that can be used as storage. A flat screen tv, along with an Apple TV, can be provided upon request. The bathroom has a Palo De Rosa shower equipped with body shower jets. A double bed can be provided for larger groups. Second Bedroom The second bedroom is in fact a mirror image of the first bedroom and has one queen sized bed and one double bed along with bed side tables and a table at the front of the bed. The bathroom in the second bedroom happens to also be a mirror image of the master and also comes with its own Palo De Rosa shower equipped with body shower jets. Outside of the bedrooms upstairs is an office desk and chair incase the need arises to get some work done on your holiday. Rooftop Terrace The terrace is currently a work in progress and while chairs can be provided to enjoy the view it's not yet set up as a place to lounge You will have the house to yourself to enjoy with your friends/family. To clarify, the house is 4,000 sq ft as mentioned above and it sits on a 15,000 sq ft plot of land which has another house of approximately the same size next door to it where I live. This makes for a good Airbnb setup because your house has its own private access and driveway. So you have as much privacy as you want but if you happen to need anything I'm close enough to respond quickly. Most of the wall decorations were carefully selected and custom made by ourselves to create harmonious living spaces. Downstairs there is a full kitchen with a wide variety of utensils and equipment. You will have everything you need to make yourself a good meal or bake a cake. The bar style dining table seats 8 guests. The living room has a sofa which can convert as a sofa bed and persons can relax and watch their favorite game or movie on the large screen TV. At the rear of the kitchen you will find a washing machine and dryer and a powder room. There is a small table and chairs for persons who wish to enjoy a cocktail or just relax in the Patio which faces the garden. Upstairs, the Master Bedroom has a king size bed, ample closet space, an ensuite bathroom with a toilet and bath tub. The NeighborhoodSouthern Marsh is situated on a quiet street just one block from the sea, near the eastern end of the St. Lawrence Gap. A small grocery store is at the corner of the street and an ATM is a few steps away. At the end of our street is Rainbow Beach which has a surf school, specializing in lessons for beginners and children. Dover Beach, one of the island's best beaches for swimming, is less than a 5 minute walk from the house and offers beach chair/umbrella daily rentals and water sports, as well as food kiosks selling delicious Bajan style meals and ice cold drinks. A short walk down St. Lawrence Gap takes you past gift shops, sports bars, and a range of restaurants and night clubs featuring live local entertainment. Getting AroundSouthern Marsh is ideally located close to everything and a car is not required. However, the local bus routes are nearby and there are also numerous taxis along the Gap to take you further around the island or into Bridgetown for some duty free shopping. If you do hire a car during your stay, Southern Marsh has a private driveway so you can park off the street.

                      The Space The apartment sits in a perfectly peaceful residential location, with well presented gardens. Entrance is via a large balcony with table and chairs. Shaded in the morning to enjoy your breakfast, and full sun in the afternoon for topping up your tan. A large open plan living space is perfect for 4 adult (sorry no children, or teenagers). Comfy sofa with cable TV, dining area, and large fully stocked kitchen with all the appliances you should need. A separate WC is at the rear of the apartment with utility room. Should our guests wish to use the washing machine, this is available free of charge. 2 large bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with twin beds are off a small corridor from the main living space. Separated by a family bathroom with large walk-in shower. Plenty of storage is available for our guests within the rooms. The apartment has air conditioning in all rooms and free wi-fi throughout. Guest Access The main house is accessed via a shared driveway with the hosts. The apartment has a separate lockable gate leading up to the private balcony and front door.
