Parker Cottages of Lake Boon is offering a seasonal, monthly or weekly rental of this vintage, three-bedroom, fully-equipped and exceptionally maintained cottage. It is nestled among six seasonal cottages on 3.5 acres in an opening of tall pines, oaks, maples and fragrant black birch. Cottage #5 has three bright, airy bedrooms and can sleep up to six. Bedroom #1 includes a queen bed. Bedroom #2 has two twin beds. Bedroom #3 has one double bed. There's a well-stocked kitchen, one bathroom with a shower, and a very comfortable living area with a center fireplace. Best of all is the breezy, screened-in front and back porches. Parker Cottages is a family gathering place and is suitable for all ages. There is a very large sandbox and swing set nearby, and cottages are located well off the main road, allowing for easy and safe bike riding for the kids along the winding, dirt driveway. Abundant water activities are within 100 feet of your doorstep. Swimming, canoeing, private docks/boat tie downs and walking and biking trails are offered. There is a public boat ramp for motor boats nearby. You'll enjoy the peacefulness punctuated by happy shouts from the water's edge. When we're lucky to have a rain shower at night, you'll fall asleep to comfortable sound of raindrops on the roof. If you time your stay well, you can join us for Alda's Pie & Ice Cream Social in mid-August or the July 4th or Labor Day Weekend picnics. A late August weekend around the lake is host to the Lake Boon Water Carnival: including Lighting of the Lake on Friday night with a music boat touring all docks; water races and field games on Saturday; and a boat parade on Sunday.
