One bedroom has a king sized bed and en-suite bathroom, and the other is twin-bedded; both have plenty of space in fitted wardrobes. There is undercroft parking and a store room where you can find the sunbeds. If you are here for a cycling holiday, bikes may be stored here safely. The sleepy village of Anafotia does not have all the trappings of tourism and the bus service to Larnaca is minimal. It is strongly advisable that you hire a car, though guests have stayed here quite happily without one, content to loll around the pool and avail themselves of the local taxis to take them to nearby beaches or the camel park (yes!) when they feel like it. A car gives you the freedom to get here from the airport in 15 minutes, and the village is well-placed for trips out to places of interest West, North or East - most in less than an hour. At home, Anafotia has the wonderful Cafe Aman where our friends Stavroula and Andreas offer a very warm welcome, and - honestly - their food is quite the best in the whole area. This is the holiday for those seeking peace and quiet. Additional benefits include air conditioning, satellite TV and DVD player, a growing number of DVDs and books. NB: Prices may be subject to change at the advertiser's discretion. * Preferred currency EUR/GBP/CHF. Preferred payment method electronic bank transfer or paypal. * Non-refundable deposit of 25% required with booking. Long lets available St Christopher's Gardens is located in the traditional Cyprus village of Anafotia. Situated in the Larnaca district, less than 20 minutes drive from the town of Larnaca, it is a charming little village with a long and esteemed history. Anafotia is built on hills surrounded by green areas presenting to the village a picturesque look. Just 2km away from the village is Larnaca Coast with its beautiful natural beaches. Anafotia is a delightful village 6km from the beach, 3 km from the popular town of Mazatos and 15km from Larnaca airport. Anafotia is situated slightly inland and perfectly positioned to offer a relaxing break from a hard days golf, visiting the beaches or the numerous attractions the area offers. There are many ancient sites and museums to visit in Larnaca. The Archaeological Museum has exhibits dating back as far as 3000 BC from the local sights of Kition and Choirokatia. There are actual remains of the ancient city of Kition and the most visible are at Leontiou Machaira near the Archaeological Museum. The Pierides Museum houses 3,600 exhibits of the private collection antiques of Demetrius Pierides and there is also theTurkish Fort and Medieval Museum. The fort was built in 1625 and is now a small museum containing mainly suits of armour.

There are some excellent reviews from people who have stayed at this villa! It is so peaceful and relaxing and the pool is amazing to sit by either in the sun or under the umbrella - and perfect for cooling down in the hot bright sun of Cyprus. The villa is close to a typical Cypriot village, so it's quiet and peaceful yet cultural. The Cyprus weather is wall-to-wall sunshine for the summer months and the private pool is an ideal place to spend the days relaxing. As an additional benefit there is a local restaurant - Cafe Aman - a mere 5 minutes walk away in the village square. The restaurant offers 'al fresco' dining, serving excellent traditional Cypriot food in a welcoming and warm environment. The portions are amazing - large and extremely flavoursome - and the hosts are friendly, chatty and speak English! I am so impressed by Cafe Aman that I recommend it to my guests - I visit most nights when I visit my villa. The pool area is enhanced by trees and bushes and has sunloungers and chairs for relaxation but if you would like some time at the beach the nearest beach is just a short drive away with sunbeds, umbrellas and a kiosk for drinks and snacks plus a marina to add atmosphere! This beach - Alaminos Paradise Beach is calm and relaxing and is primarily a family beach with a shallow entry to the water and wonderful vistas of the coastline and Marina. It is a 20 minute drive to Larnaca city centre, which has a wonderful beach-side bar scene with a strong family appeal late into the evening. There are lots of restaurants serving a traditional Cypriot menu as well as fresh sea food with views directly overlooking the water. The south coast road gives amazing sea views and an hour's drive to the west takes you to the Troodos mountain range that runs through the middle of Cyprus. The scenic driving routes pass through old Cypriot styled villages and a drive at sunset gives incredible views. Cyprus is an area of high summer temperatures, often accompanied by a sea breeze, and light protective clothing is recommended together with plenty of sun protection cream. The villa is fully air conditioned but each room has a fly screen which allows the windows to be left open and a fresh flow of air into the villa day and night. A welcome pack with additional details about the area and places to visit is in the villa. There are leaflets about various areas and attractions as well as maps of Cyprus to aid your exploration. The island has thousands of years of history and there are plenty of fascinating ruins to visit, both locally and further afield. Kourion is an amazing and fascinating hill top Roman ruin site 45 - 60 minute drive away and close to a blue sandy beach with restaurants close by. A small food hamper consisting of bread, milk, butter, tea, coffee and a selection of other basics foods will be in the villa awaiting your arrival. A deposit of 25% (non-refundable) is payable at booking with the balance due 8 weeks before departure. Early Bird and Late Deal bookings are subject to discount upon application. Call or email the owner for special rates availability - EXCELLENT DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE A booking contract will be available upon enquiry Anafotida is a small Cypriot village offering a mini-supermarket, restaurants, cafe's and four churches within walking distance of the villa. Cafe Aman in the village square offers traditional Cypriot food of great taste and immense portions for a very reasonable price - all cooked and served by the exceptional owners - Andreas and Stavroula. This cafe is so good that I include a free discount voucher in your booking that can be redeemed against a meal at the Cafe - Enjoy! Visitor Testimonials to Villa Attica Coming from Dubai (24 hrs a day traffic!) it was a nice peaceful break. The weather at the end of October was perfect! The development was neat and quiet, directions were dead accurate and we liked Café Aman in the village. (26 Oct – 2 Nov 2012 Lawrie Tonner) I am pleased to tell you we had a really enjoyable stay at Villa Attica, our only regret is we did not stay another week! Thank you for all your quick responses and your excellent customer services right from the start, It is very rare to turn up at your holiday destination and the reality is better than the pictures. Thank you. 24/10 email from client on return 25/10 comments on Questionnaire: Villa Attica is an excellent getaway. The villa is on the corner plot and you do not get overlooked, it is very private. The surrounding countryside is really nice to look out and we were really able to relax. The villa itself was very clean and tidy with excellent facilities. The balcony outside the master bedroom was really good to relax and watch the stars at night. Definitely hire a car because there are no real transport links and you do have to travel a few miles to the really good beaches. We would strongly recommend Mackenzie beach if you have children. We would definitely consider staying here again. (11 Oct – 18 Oct 2012 David Nash) I booked on a colleagues recommendation and was not disappointed. Villa Attica is a superbly appointed property in a quiet rural location for a thoroughly enjoyable break. (email: hidden)ention to detail in the décor, spotlessly clean on arrival and very comfortable beds and effective aircon. Pool was a dream! Versatile for families or just a group of adults looking to chill. The village is typically Cypriot, amazingly friendly and the old taverna a gem. No menu, cook to order and catered for veggies with ease, but no fish. Thursday night is kleftico night and not to be missed! The journey from Paphos was an easy drive and the location of the village is an esay stepping point for the eastern towns and the mountains, but you do need a car. As a first time to Cyprus this was a great introduction. (12-19 August 2012 – Richard Jones) We had an absolutely super time, thanks so much. Bert and Brenda (your caretakers) went to town making everything lovely for our girl's birthday when we arrived – they were so surprised! (29 July – 8 Aug 2012 Ben & Emma Marsh) Excellent clean accommodation and a very helpful management team (Bert and Brenda). This is a second visit to St Christopher's Village. We visited the camel park this time and the restaurant at Governor's beach which we highly recommend. (8-29 July 2012 Karen Achilleos) Villa Attica is a very welcoming retreat where the whole family felt instantly at home. The interior was fresh & modern. Very comfy beds and clean modern bathrooms. We loved floating in the pool and relaxing on the sun loungers. Both the pergola and balcony were perfect if you wanted some shade. The surrounding countryside was beautiful, with the farmer herding his sheep in the distance & the sun setting behind the hills. It all brings back lovely memories. We loved visiting Makenzy beach in Larnaca, great for the kids to go swimming, watch aeroplanes coming in to land & build sandcastles. We highly recommend the seafood restaurant there called 'Surf & Turf' the food was delicious! They also had a big indoor kids soft play zone; fully air-conditioned which our girls didn't want to leave. We visited Larnaca seafront on a few occasions and would recommend Hobo's. Spent a day in Ayia Napa too, highly recommend this as a great day out that's not too far away. We went for lunch and a walk around the shops. Found a lovely beach side restaurant with a kid's park outside. Had a lovely relaxing day out and a short drive back. Thank you for all your help with booking and making us feel relaxed about the holiday before we arrived. (26 May – 9 June 2012 Alex Hapted) I had always thought of staying in a villa but never did much about it, but this time I made the effort. The attention to detail in the villa was second to none, home from home. The villa was just as the photos, everything was modern and bright. The welcome pack was much appreciated due to the fact we arrived about 11pm. It was spotlessly clean and because we had the end villa, the garden and pool area was larger, definitely the best villa. Your directions were brilliant too-easy to follow eventhough we landed at night. (9-23 July 2011 Denise Shelbourne ) We had a fantastic time staying at Villa Attica, the whole family especially loved the pool. The locals were extremely friendly and helpful. Making use of a car is essential to get around effectively. The view of the stars at night was stunning and uninterrupted from light pollution. Overall the Villa provided us with an extremely comfortable and enjoyable holiday. I would encourage anyone staying to visit restaurant ^ATOYPE – the owner was fantastic with the kids and the food was prefect. We met locals who commented on Silver the owner/chef being one of the best in Cyprus. We visited 4 times and would love to return one day.
