The SpaceA beautifully restored two bed cottage, both bedrooms are en-suite. One ground floor room with walk in shower and one the first floor with a bath and overheasd shower. Fully equipped kitchen with open plan lounge diner,TV and Bluetooth speaker. Log burner with logs provided and outdoor patio. There is also a downstairs wc and utility room. We can purchase breakfast items including fresh milk, eggs, bread, preserves, cereals, tea and coffee in preparation for your arrival if required. The NeighborhoodMedbourne is a fantastic village with easy access to Market Harborough and its train station (55mins London). Its a picturesque chocolate box village with good amenities including a popular village pub, bustling shop and beautiful church. The cottage sits tucked away behind the pub away from any road noise. Other Things to NoteThe Nevill cafe next door serves breakfast from 9am every day.

Numerous stately homes, including Rockingham Castle, Burghley House, Belvoir Castle and the late Geoff Hamilton's famous Barnsdale Gardens are all within a short drive. The historic market towns of Stamford, Uppingham and Oakham offer atmospheric shopping, museums and theatre to enjoy.     The 'East Wing' extension is situated to the rear of our family house and has it's own independent entrance. The apartment sleeps 2+2 people. The rooms are spacious and are linked by a corridor being all on the ground floor. It is ideally suited for disabled use and all rooms are well insulated. * Ideal self catering accommodation near Market Harborough as a base for touring, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Rutland Water, and business in Corby, Kettering or Leicester. * Fully equipped to a high standard and self contained. * Very private with its own patio and Bar-B-Q area. For stays over 2 weeks we offer a negotiable discount..... especially suiting CORPORATE SHORT TERM LETS an affordable alternative to hotel accommodation. Rates include heating, hot water, electricity, linen, towels and council tax etc. We service and clean the apartment and change all linen weekly for longer stays. Market Harborough today is a lovely place to visit, browse and shop, it has a tremendous selection of restaurants, cafes, bars and pubs and an indoor and outdoor market on selected days. Foxton locks are 6 miles away. It consists of a magnificent flight of 10 immaculate working lock gates with a museum and posh pub. Walks along the tow path are to be recommended, canals abound in theis area. This area offers all things to all men, historic site, interesting towns and attractive villages. Many first class and value for money paces to eat. And being close to several major towns Northampton, Leicester and Kettering means that there is plenty to do, visit and shop.

    Our stone farmhouse is situated in the Welland Valley in Leicestershire and is close to Rockingham Castle, Deene Park, Nevill Holt, Uppingham, Market Harborough and great for the arts and culture in those places. We are useful for the local boarding schools of Oakham, Uppingham and Oundle. We are in a tiny village and boast the smallest church in Leicestershire! We have a lovely big garden and there are many great walks in the fields surrounding our house, we are on the Jurassic Way footpath
