The SpaceThis unique space comes with a large private bedroom and loft in a charming condo located near Lake Washington between Downtown Bellevue & Kirkland only 15 minutes from Seattle. Excellent dining and entertainment options a short walk away with the convenience of a major bus terminal located across from the complex. It is a two story condo with modern furnishings, and pictures that I've taken from around the world decorate the walls. You will get to enjoy the entire second floor which includes a loft and large bedroom. There is a walk-in style closet which has a sink and vanity so you won't have to use the bathroom downstairs to brush your teeth. The loft has a desk, and fold out couch if more sleeping space is needed. Downstairs is the kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom and my bedroom. The condo complex also has a swimming pool and tennis court which can be enjoyed during the summer months. Guest AccessI have a coded lock box on my front porch, so guests can come and go as they please. You're welcome to enjoy the kitchen, however please provide your own food, and keep the space tidy by picking up after yourself. The washer and dryer located on the first floor are also available, but please provide your own detergent. Interaction with GuestsI love meeting new people, and am always happy to talk story! I'm happy to provide recommendations for things to see and do in the area if folks need suggestions. Ultimately, I strive to make guests feel comfortable. I do travel often and work long shifts, however there is the very rare occasion when I will stay at the condo. I always coordinate with guest prior to booking if my schedule overlaps with their stay. Most times I never have the chance to meet my guests, but I am always available at least by phone, text, or email. The NeighborhoodThe condo complex is very quiet and surrounded by trees. Being the top floor unit on the corner, I rarely hear my neighbors. One of my favorite things to do is walk from the condo along the waterfront into downtown Kirkland and enjoy the many shops and restaurants. To walk all the way to the Kirkland Marina it is just shy of 3 miles (one way). I am less than one mile from the water and there are several waterfront parks along the way. There are two Starbucks located within 1.5miles of the condo with a couple restaurants. The city has also recently converted the old rail road tracks above the complex into a beautiful walking trail. Getting AroundThe condo is conveniently located right off of two major freeways (I-405 and 520) with the South Kirkland Park & Ride directly across from the complex. Buses to downtown Seattle run very 15-20 minutes and are often faster than trying to find parking in the city, and cheaper too! The closest grocery store is 1.5 miles away, and there are frequent buses that run in that direction. If you enjoy long walks, there are great sidewalks and a walking trail into downtown Kirkland with wonderful restaurants and shops. The SpacePrivate Guest House with separate entrance, gourmet kitchen with stone counters and a Viking Range, bathroom and washer/dryer. In addition to the real queen size bed, there is a sofa sleeper. Wireless Internet, cable television, and parking for one car. The guest house is dedicated to hospitality... it is clean, spacious, and filled with essentials... not someone else's stuff. Walk the .8 mile to downtown Bellevue or one block to jump on a bus connecting to anywhere, (Microsoft, Pike Place, Downtown Seattle, University of Washington). Pick up fresh flowers and produce at the Farmers Market down the street on Thursdays from 3-7 through October. Do some power shopping or go to the Lincoln Square Cinema at Bellevue Square (8 blocks away). Happy Hour? There has to be at least 50 within a two mile radius. Endless dining options. Visit several beautiful parks and beaches on Lake Washington. Downtown Seattle is a quick bus ride away, and a wonderful day trip, or easy commute for visiting professionals. We live in the main house, and will be happy to answer questions and help to make your visit perfect. Check in is after 3:00 PM and check out is 11:00 AM unless otherwise agreed upon. There is one designated parking space for our guesthouse/listing. We consider children guests, so please include kids in your total guest number. The NeighborhoodWalking distance to Bellevue Square Mall, and parks. Lake is not too far, and it's possible to walk to Clyde Beach at the North end of 92nd Avenue. Our neighborhood is safe to walk, with many beautiful vistas. Getting AroundWe are one block from the King County Metro bus route #246. This bus comes once an hour and can quickly take you to the area hubs that can connect to virtually any stop in King County and the Seattle Tacoma Airport. 10 block walk to Route 271 which leaves several times an hour and can take you to Seattle/ University District or back to the Bellevue Hub. Getting AroundAccess to three major highways within a few minutes drive. Excellent public transportation just a 1/4 mile from our home. A transport platform and small park and ride lot on Highway 520 provide great access to SeaTac Airport as well as Seattle and all the major cities and destinations in the metropolitan area, i.e. express buses to Microsoft and downtown Seattle 3 to 4 times/hour.           The SpaceStay in one of the most coveted neighborhoods in the Pacific Northwest. The space is ground-floor of a multi-million $ luxury home with day-light. This 1000+ sq ft handicap accessible unit is your own private living with separate spaces. The living space has a spacious dining area, office desk, and a daybed (sleeps two). The kitchenette has a stove top, its own refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher, and a kitchen sink. The bed room has a TV, a spacious walk-in closet, queen bed and your own heating/cooling zone. The bathroom offers luxurious amenities like a soak in tub, walk in showers, and a vanity. The room offers over 1000 free cable channels, a small selection of our personal DVD collection, a Chromecast to stream from your personal device. Add a 100 Mbps internet and you have plenty of options if you wish to kick back and take it easy. You will have your own private entrance and a furnished private patio. Free parking for two cars. We have lived in Seattle for many years and happy to offer tips on sites and dining. The NeighborhoodYou will get to stay in Clyde Hill, one of the most luxurious residential area in the North West. The neighborhood has higher end acreage homes. It is a very quiet area and it is situated on an elevated lot. The unit is in the ground floor with expansive windows looking out into our backyard and your own private patio with furnished lounge chairs and a table. Getting AroundHaving a car gives you easy access to down-town Bellevue which is ~ 1.5 mile from home. You have free parking for two cars next to the house. Please parking spots in one of the pictures. We kindly request our guests to NOT park in our main driveway blocking our access. You can use bus route number 271 to travel to Seattle (10 minutes) and Bellevue (5 minutes). The bus stop is 5 - 10 minutes from the unit. If you wish to run errands by walking to nearby shopping areas, please plan approximately 20 minutes each way. You also get Uber/Lyft rides within minutes pretty much any time. It costs approximately 7$ by UberX to nearby shopping areas. Other Things to NoteTypical questions we get from our guests: Please be aware that the second sleeping arrangement is in the living room (private to your suite). It is a queen sized day bed with sleep spread. The second box and mattress queen bed is in your own private room. The hosts live in the two floors above this unit. Please ask us if you have any questions or need anything during your stay. We will be very disappointed if you needed something and left without asking. You may hear our footsteps during the day. We will certainly understand if it bothers you; please txt or message if it does. The key to the unit is part of a central locking system for the house. Please keep it safe. Overall, it is a very nice place to stay as you can see in our reviews. We want to be very explicit so you are not surprised.

The NeighborhoodQuiet upscale neighborhood with easy freeway access. Short walk to nice newly rebuilt Jr High School with track, tennis, and sports fields. There is a small shopping center nearby with a grocery store, barber, shoe repair, diner, and gas station. Downtown Bellevue has countless restaurants, bars, and shops in and around the Bellevue Square Mall about 1.5 miles away. Getting AroundCentral location, short commute to Kirkland, Redmond or Seattle. Take Shuttle Express from the airport to the Hyatt in Bellevue and it's a quick Uber to the house. Nice walk to downtown Bellevue. 4 blocks to nearest bus stop, about 1 mile to local Park & Ride. Other Things to NoteThere is a good natured miniature Golden-Doodle dog (hypo-allergenic) that wanders the house between naps. You will be hard-pressed not to be good friends by the end of your stay. I often work out of the house in a private office.

There's a bus stop right next to backyard will bring you to Seattle and UW. 5 mins to SR-520, 15 mins to Seattle downtown or Redmond. Its in BEST school district. If you're looking for schools, it's in the best school districts you can find in Washington: Medina Elementary, Chinook Jr and Bellevue High School. It's PRIVATE - You will have your own entrance and complete quiet and privacy. The unit is separated from the rest of the house and has all its own appliance & amenities for your stay. It feels like HOME - The suite is fully furnished with: - A large living room with sofa, TV and fast wireless internet; - A fully gourmet kitchen with all necessary appliance to prepare your delicious meal: 4 burners stove\oven, oversize microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, coffee machine and even rice cooker. Kitchen utensils are provided. - 2 spacious bedrooms with each has a queen size bed. Rooms are big and over 170 SF each. If your party is over 4, we're pleased to provide you an extra full size bed. - Large washer and dryer in suite. - We also have a crib for baby or small kids upon request. - Parking: private drive accommodate 2 cars and front yard street can park 3rd car.
