The SpaceThe cottage has three great bedrooms, accommodating up to seven people. Two of the bedrooms are doubles and the third has bunk beds with a trundle. There is one bathroom with a shower and baby bath, and a separate toilet. It has a lovely sunroom/dining room with views of the garden and high ceilings and most of the cottage has beautiful hardwood floors. There is an open fireplace with a screen and we will supply a basket of firewood and kindling to get you going. It's located in a quiet area of Katoomba, close to Mini Ha Ha Falls, and only a couple of minutes drive from the Three Sisters and the centre of town with its quirky antique shops and great cafes - all in the middle of a world heritage listed national park. Whether you want to go bushwalking, check out the local produce, cook up a storm or hang out in front of the open fire with friends or a good book, you'll be able to do it comfortably. Kids will love the huge back garden (the block is over 1000 square metres) and fish pond with more than twenty resident fish and a couple of frogs. There is central gas heating throughout the house which warms the place up in an instant and as previously mentioned we'll supply enough wood to see you through for a day or two. The gas kitchen is fully equipped with new pots and pans and everything you need. We even have a veggie patch with a range of herbs you are welcome to use. We happily supply sheets, towels and bedding but you're welcome to bring your own (and we'll reduce the cleaning fee to $40). There is no wi-fi but the mobile reception is excellent. The TV has access to all the free to air digital channels and a DVD player. There is also a great sound system with a USB input. There is a collection of toys suitable for young kids and a few board games including scrabble, backgammon and chess. Your are welcome to feed the fish once during your stay, if you wish. The SpaceComfortable, family-friendly, relaxed house that sleeps 11, perfect for 2 families. There are 4 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms (1 double with ensuite, 1 triple, 1 queen bedroom upstairs and downstairs is a bedroom with 2 singles & bunkbeds so sleeps 4). The open plan kitchen joins onto the spacious dining room, which opens out through a pair of french doors to the outside deck. A cosy sitting room with log fire opens out through french doors to a beautiful courtyard, the house is surrounded by large gardens with trampoline, swing, ropes, cubby house & tennis court. Enjoy the beauty of the Shipley Plateau, Hargraves and Mount Blackheath lookouts just a short drive from the house. Or take a short walk to our breathtaking lookout over the Megalong Valley. The large established garden and beautifully sited tennis court offers space, peace & seclusion. Megalong Valley's great walks and horse riding places are also just a short drive away. The best apples and juice from the Logan Brae orchard on Shipley Road. At the start of the road (3km) is Blackheath's restaurants, cafes and shops Guests have the house, 7 acre property, tennis court and gardens to themselves. It is in close proximity to Blackheath, the Megalong Valley and bush walks within the National Park. The owners can be contacted by mobile phone if you have any queries before or during your stay. The Blue Mountains National Park has many beautiful walking trails and lookouts to visit. Our favourite places to go are the Mount Tomah Botanical Gardens, Everglades historic house, the Carrington Hotel in Katoomba, the Edge cinema in Katoomba and Mount Vic Flicks in Mount Victoria, the Good Food Guide hatted restaurants in Blackheath (Vesta, Ashcrofts, Escarpment) and the local Blackheath Produce Markets each 2nd Sunday of the month. A car is really handy though a bus and train can take you to Katoomba. Nearest station to Little Pightle is Blackheath, about 3 km from the house. Though we were very familiar with the Blue Mountains through bushwalking, we were attracted to the unique stunning scenery, peace and tranquility, all within 1 1/2 hrs drive from Sydney CBD on good motorways. We were lucky to find such a unique property with a house that was being lovingly restored from a simple single storey weatherboard to its unique configuration by a passionate French builder, we just keep the passion going! Recently renovated, this contemporary home provides a beautiful space for up to 8 people. There are 4 bedrooms, each with a Queen sized bed. - The modern kitchen is fully equipped and opens out onto the dining area. - The dining table comfortably seats 8 people. - There is a spacious verandah with BBQ that overlooks the property. - The laundry is fully equipped and includes ironing facilities. - The house has two bathrooms (only one with a bath). - WiFi, TV, Netflix are all included. The Neighborhood Our neighbourhood, located within the Blue Mountains National Park, is a quiet one. The surrounding properties are between one and five acres that provide for a private and spacious retreat. You will no doubt see more King Parrots and Crimson Rosellas than you will people. However, we are not completely isolated. The Chalet Guesthouse Restaurant is just around the corner and is open for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights (please book in advance) and the Hydro Majestic Hotel offers lunch at the Boiler House restaurant and dinner or high tea in the beautifully restored main dining room. It is even just a great place to enjoy the spectacular view of the Megalong Valley. There is a also great cafe now open in Medlow Bath however there are no shops apart from a 24 hour service station on the highway that sells limited groceries. Medlow Bath is only a ten minute drive to either Katoomba or Blackheath. For the adventurous, Medlow Bath offers some enjoyable bushwalks where you can access the Megalong Valley and the Grose Valley. For rock climbers there are a few cliffs and a small canyon called Jugglers Canyon nearby. Getting AroundMedlow Bath is situated within the Blue Mountains National Park. By car it is a 1.5 hour drive from Sydney and only a ten minute drive to Leura, Katoomba and Blackheath. Medlow Bath is on the train line from Central Station. There is also a very prompt and reliable taxi service operating in the upper Blue Mountains towns. Other Things to NoteA portable cot and high chair are available on request.

The SpaceOn offer is 'Booroolong', our mid century inspired home of three double bedrooms, two lavish bathrooms, full gourmet kitchen with quality gear to cook up a feast. With stunning views over the Megalong Valley and a freshly renovated interiors, this home has it all from a crackling wood fire for wintery stays, to a natural swimming pool for those toasty summer days. All nestled on a 16 hectare sloping bush-clad land with walking tracks winding along the escarpment at the bottom of the property. Or it's just a short journey to many popular look-outs, hiking tracks and rock climbing spots. The recently restored Hydro Majestic Hotel is a five minute walk, and we have an abundance of quality cafes and restaurants within a short drive from the home. Due to the high cost of quality hardwood firewood we are obliged to charge a $100 firewood fee, supply is unlimited though. For the full house letting we will be staying locally and are happy to help as much or as little as desired. The NeighborhoodMedlow Bath is a small village located between Katoomba and Blackheath. It is home to the recently refurbished, historical Hydro Majestic Hotel offering dining, high tea, cocktails and live music. The wonderful cafe Browns Siding is near by for breakfast or lunch. Nearby Blackheath is a busy village with antique stores, cafes, and three star restaurants, not to mention the spectacular Grose Valley and numerous bush walks in the area for you to explore. Getting AroundOur Property, 'Booroolong' is an easy walk from the Medlow Bath railway station. A regular timetable operates from Central station and the trains are a handy way of traveling between towns within the Mountains. If you have a car the trip is about 1.5 hours from Sydney CBD, and there is plenty of on site parking. There is also a local taxi service that knows the address well and can take you anywhere in the upper mountains. Holly Lodge is the perfect getaway accommodation for a romantic weekend, family retreat or just to enjoy nature and activities in the area. Only one and half hours drive from Sydney this cedar chalet is set on its own large tree studded block minutes from Katoomba and Blackheath in the heart of the Blue Mountains. Set amongst beautiful tall pine trees Holly Lodge offers a large loft bedroom upstairs and three-bedrooms downstairs, a cosy sitting area with a large open log-fire, dining table, 46 inch LED TV, DVD and DVD collection, board games and a covered veranda to sit and listen to the birds. We supply Foxtel Go and Stan (both streaming services) as well as Pandora internet radio. There is a fully equipped kitchen and laundry, and beds have electric blankets, quilts and pillows. All beds have pillow top mattresses and heating blankets for a cosy nights sleep. There is a large open fireplace in the living room and a combustion oven for heating. There is also a electric heater for the kids room if needed and a gas oven in the main living area. We have a 49 inch LED TV with a Media PC and Stan / Foxtel Go / Pandora streaming services. There is a strong gas convection heater in the living / dining area as well for extra cold winter nights. We have 2 bathrooms, a main with a full sized bath and toilet and a second one with a toilet and shower. There is an outside laundry with a washing machine and dryer. A fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, electrical oven, gas stove and microwave as well as a large fridge is available. Wildlife abounds including wild birds (birdseed provided) at your door. The property is also home to two alpacas and is often frequented by wombats, wallabies, lyre birds and kangaroos. Included: Quality linen and generous breakfast provisions are supplied for your first morning, including fresh eggs, bacon, yogurt, bread and cereal. We provide fresh apple juice from our local orchard and ground coffee to use in our coffee machine.     The SpaceWe welcome you to our stunning property set on 6 acres on the Shipley Plateau, only 5 minutes drive from Blackheath. Perfect for the extended family or two families. The house has 4 bedrooms and sleeps 8 comfortably. The master bedroom has queen bed and en suite, the second bedroom has a double bed, bedroom 3 has a bunk bed and the fourth bedroom has two single beds that convert to a king size bed if need be. All the beds have electric blankets and both of the bathrooms have heated towel racks and heating lights. All bedrooms have heaters. The living room has a roaring combustion fire with firewood provided. It also has reverse cycle air conditioning/heating and a TV and DVD. The dining setting seats up to eight and the kitchen has a dishwasher, oven and microwave. There is also a laundry with a third toilet, washing machine, drier and iron for your convenience. Additionally there is a large decked area for outdoor dining with a large BBQ as well as a quiet private balcony overlooking the fully fenced dam. The dam is great place to swim in summer! For the kids there is a huge enclosed trampoline and a swing set and an outdoor fire pit where you can toast marshmallows. The property has an abundance of native wildlife, including an array of birdlife that visit each morning and evening. Several wombats live on the property and the paddock is often visited by wallabies and kangaroos. We also have a one bedroom studio cottage on the property and can be rented out for larger groups. I run a yoga business from the Yoga Shed which is approximately 50 metres form the studio. Classes are not often on over the weekends. We have dogs. 1 Kelpie x cattle dos, 1 red kelpie and 1 fox terrier. They are all friendly. We have 1 cat who minds her own business and will stay out of your way.

      This beautiful home is located in Medlow Bath in the Blue Mountains of NSW. W are new to TripAdvisor however our property has been available for holiday accommodation for close to 2 years and we take pride in continually receiving 5 star reviews from our guests. Recently renovated, this contemporary home provides a beautiful space for up to 8 people. There are 4 bedrooms, each with a Queen sized bed. Set on two expansive acres this beautiful home offers guests a very comfortable and spacious place to stay and enjoy all that the Blue Mountains National Park has to offer. The modern kitchen is fully equipped and opens out onto the dining area.
    • The dining table comfortably seats 8 people.
    • There is a spacious verandah with BBQ that overlooks the property.
    • The laundry is fully equipped and includes ironing facilities.
    • The house has two bathrooms (only one with a bath).
    • We include WiFi, TV, Netflix and an amplifier for you to plug in your own music devices. During your stay at our the house the entire property is yours to enjoy. The surrounding properties are between one and five acres that provide for a private and spacious retreat. You will no doubt see more King Parrots and Crimson Rosellas than you will people. However, we are not completely isolated. The Chalet Guesthouse Restaurant is just around the corner and is open for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights (please book in advance) and the Hydro Majestic Hotel offers lunch, high tea or just a great place to enjoy the spectacular view of the Megalong Valley. Medlow Bath is situated within the Blue Mountains National Park. By car it is a 1.5 hour drive from Sydney and only a ten minute drive to Leura, Katoomba and Blackheath. Medlow Bath is on the train line from Central Station.

The NeighborhoodThe neighbourhood is very peaceful and forest like. It's safe and calming without being isolated. It is within walking distance (approx 15min) to the train station, beautiful cliff views, bush walks and the Hydro Majestic hotel. It's also just a 10 minute drive to Katoomba and less to Blackheath. Getting AroundMedlow Bath train station is approximately a 15minute walk from the house. The train trip from Sydney to Medlow Bath takes approximately 2hrs. Trains run to Katoomba and Sydney from Medlow Bath approximately every hour and also in the opposite direction towards Blackheath and MT Victoria. Medlow Bath is one station after Katoomba coming from Sydney. We have one bicycle you can use if you like.
