And with only a short drive to local beaches, you can view whales whilst they make their migration up and down the coast (when in season). A quick five minute walk will have you at the Top Lake Boat Hire & Cafe for your morning coffee or take a ten minute stroll along the boardwalk into the main shops, galleries & cafes of Merimbula. A fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances featuring an oven, kettle, toaster, microwave, gas cooktop and full fridge. The open plan living area features a 42" plasma TV and DVD player with movie library, board games and heating. The main bedroom consists of a queen 'Therawrap' therapeutic bed and a 22" plasma with in-built dvd player and stunning new designer bathroom with rain showerhead. A laundry (shared) is also available for your use along with off street parking and picturesque views over Merimbula Lake from the bedroom, decks and living area. The property is non-smoking, no pets, children only by arrangement and accommodates two comfortably, however a double or single mattress can be set up for an additional cost. A hamper consisting of local produce including free range eggs, bread and jams and a bottle of wine can also be available at an additional cost of $30.00 and will be ready for you upon arrival, however this must be booked in advance. The SpaceThis pleasant apartment is suitable for couples, small groups, travellers, and families wanting a relaxing break or just a comfortable and convenient place to stay. It is fully self contained, with its own entrance. The apartment comprises 2 bedrooms, providing a queen bed, a king single and a double bunk; an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge, and a large combined bathroom/laundry. The lounge couch can fold out to become a bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with a 4 element stove, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge, as well as all the utensils, crockery and cutlery expected. The apartment is situated on the ground floor of the house and looks onto the secluded garden. It enjoys bright sunny mornings while being sheltered from the midday heat. A ceiling fan also keeps things cool on those extra hot days. Location wise, it is next to the nature reserve and only a short walk to the beach, golf club and Tura Shops. For families with babies, we can provide a cot and a high chair. Facilities include: TV, DVD/VCR with a selection of movies and TV shows. Large combined living/kitchen area with views down over the lake with glimpses of the beach over the other cabins. Guest AccessBarbeque areas for guests, central laundry, solar heated swimming pool, volleyball/badminton court, beautiful birds which can be hand fed and a variety of native animals in the surrounding areas. The beach is a short 200mt stroll down the grassland where you can enjoy the beach or lake for a swim, surf when the swell is up or just enjoy laying around reading a book. The Space42 Panamuna is a very private property even though it is the town.There are many spaces in the garden where you can sit,read,enjoy the view. In the back garden there is a gas BBQ and pizza oven. The property backs on to a bush reserve with a short walk to Kianninny Park with BBQ facilities at the waters edge. If you want to BBQ in the park we will provide a full set of cutlery and plates for you to use. Guest AccessGuests have exclusive use of the downstairs apartment:spacious bedroom,lounge,dining area and (URL HIDDEN) is a breakfast station and fridge, toaster and tea and coffee making facilities. We provide a generous breakfast of artisan bread,homemade jams,yoghurt,fruit and cereal. Guests can use the gas BBQ in the garden courtyard and pick vegies from the garden in season. We have free WiFi and will give you the password on arrival. You are welcome to visit the studio and enjoy the art work. We have lived here for many years and have a wide knowledge of the area and its attractions. The NeighborhoodThe greatest asset in this area are the National Parks. There are many each having its own unique appeal...fishing,surfing,walking etc. For MTB cyclists there is 50km of single track in Tathra. We can show you where it starts and ends. Apart from that there are miles of fire trails and national park tracks to ride. Getting AroundIt is better to have your own car to get around this area. This gives you the facility to explore the many beaches,little villages and art galleries of the region. Short walk to surf beach, close to National Parks, golf courses and all the attractions of the lovely holiday town of Merimbula. Merimbula is a great family holiday destination with surfing, swimming, scuba diving, fishing, golfing, national parks, galleries, shops and restaurants. Dolphin Cove is near the Magic Mountain amusement park and Mandeni Family Fun Park. Our climate is lovely , rarely too hot or too cold! Please note we always have a minimum of 2 nights, 3 nights for Easter weekend and 5 nights during the peak Summer holidays. repeat guests and longer stays may attract a discount. Guest accommodation is the downstairs of our house, fully self contained. 4 Bedrooms - King or king singles, Queen, Double and bunks, extra single mattress for the floor for a child. Cot also available. The pool is a shared area. We live upstairs and are available for information but the apartment is fully self contained. Tethering from your digital device works quite well. However many guests find that it is a blessing & a nice change not to be connected.

It has a gracious ambience with cool breezes and spectacular views through opening coloured glass windows. You can practise your dance moves on the polished timber floors or do your yoga stretches on an expanse of red carpet. Guests will have access to eating, living and sleeping in large open plan space. A large dining table is perfect for a dinner party. The grounds are spacious, shady and private, providing ample parking for cars , caravans, trailers, boats or a tent. Guests will have the place to themselves. Privacy is one of it's great assets. Wolumla is within 10 minutes of Merimbula's beaches and various national parks and State forests. The village is an old gold mining town with a picturesque hillside location overlooking the rolling hills of the beautiful Bega Valley. The pub and general store are a short walk down the hill. There is a bus between Bega and Merimbula via Wolumla. The accommodation is set up for a couple with a double bed but can take others if prepared to share the one large space. There are 2 sofa beds and a single bed which can be made up if necessary. Sheets and towels provided, $20 extra per person extra (to couple). The toilet is in the little bathhouse in the garden a few private steps from the back door of the churchhouse. There is a shower over the bath. Guest AccessGuests will have access to eating, living and sleeping in large open plan space. A large dining table is perfect for a dinner party. The SpaceClose To It All is just that! Close to everything that Merimbula has to offer. You can walk to shops, Cafe's, Restaurants, Clubs, the Lake and the Beach. There are three bedrooms upstairs that comfortably accommodate 6 people, the main bedroom and 2nd bedroom have Queen sized beds and the 3rd bedroom has 2 single beds. There is plenty of living space downstairs so as guests may relax and enjoy their stay. Guest AccessThere is a fully equipped kitchen. A flat screen TV and DVD player. Comfortable new leather lounges, relaxing beds with warm woollen blankets. An upstairs balcony with outdoor chairs to enjoy the view or a private fern lined courtyard with table and chairs for having your lunch or dinner. The NeighborhoodIt is so easy to walk to everything and to enjoy the lake and the beach as well as all the shops, cafe's and restaurants. The Fishpen area is so relaxing and pretty and can be enjoyed by all age groups. The main beach is always accessible and because it is such a long beach there is plenty of room for all to enjoy it. Getting AroundEverything is within walking distance so you can leave the car parked in the carport at the front of the residence, or there is visitor parking directly out front as well. The NeighborhoodThis setting is really very special; particularly in the summer because it is so close to one of the best swimming places on the planet...Kianinny. There are a couple of really pleasant walks along the coast which begin at Kianinny. The town shops are a Km away. Getting AroundOne feature of staying in Tathra is the provision of courtesy buses by the Pub and the clubs. These make managing a good night out easy. Other Things to NoteAll linen is provided. Major towns of Bega and Merimbula are 15-20 minutes drive. National parks and secluded beaches and creeks within 30 minutes. Getting AroundRequires a car to drive to nearest village and seaside. Historic Candelo General Store is less than 5km away and has just about everything you need - including a cafe with great coffee and brunches!

The SpaceLocated in Merimbula, an ideal destination between Sydney and Melbourne, and only 2.5 hours from Canberra. Wandarrah Lodge ,is just that, a lodge/hostel NOT a motel. Our style of accommodation could be described as "glorified camping", so if 4 or 5 star is your preferance, Wandarrah Lodge will probably not be a good fit for you. The building is protected by a back to base fire monitoring system. Our main points of difference to motels are the option to cook your own meals in our communal kitchen, thereby extending your holiday budget. There is the opportunity to interact with fellow travelers in our dining /common room or share a game of pool or table tennis. Tea & Coffee is supplied. While we don`t have spa`s and flat screen Tv`s in all the rooms (or any rooms in fact;) we do provide clean budget priced accommodation in a friendly & welcoming atmosphere. And yes, guests do make up their own beds with our freshly laundered linen that is included in the room rate. There is also free wireless internet access throughout the property. Park the car and walk the 150 metre`s to the beach or stroll 750 m into Merimbula`s shopping area with boardwalk cafes and restaurants. There are many world class walks including the "Light to Light Walk" (Ben Boyd National Park) & "Kangarutha Track" (Bournda National Park).Pick up & drop offs can be arranged if required. The SpaceThe cottage was built around 1890 and is one of the older houses in Bega. It has 3 bedrooms, one with a queen bed, one with a double and the third with a single day bed. There is also a spare mattress under the day bed. Two of the bedrooms have french doors opening onto the front verandah. There is a well equipped modern kitchen, with dishwasher and large gas hob/electric oven stove. A comfortable lounge/dining room with a wood heater in the fireplace for the colder months and a modern gas heater for more instant heat. The modern bathroom has a shower over the bath and heated towel rack. Out doors you can enjoy the sunset from the front verandah screened from the road by the lush front garden or the french doors from the dining area open onto a covered dining/sitting area overlooking the large back garden. I live just on the outskirts of Bega so am readily available. The NeighborhoodBega is an old country town and regional centre of the Bega Valley. It is set in the beautiful rolling hills and dairy country that Bega is renowned for. The town has a good selection of cafes, restaurants, shops, pubs and galleries aswell as a swimming pool and historic showground, all within easy walking distance. The Bega river runs alongside the town and is a lovely area for a stroll with designated leash free areas where your dog can swim. Tathra with it's pristine beaches is a 15 minute drive away. Bermagui a small quaint fishing village to the north offers game fishing, good restaurants and the famous blue pool, a natural ocean rock pool. Eden to the south has an interesting, albeit bloody whaling history displayed at the Eden Killer Whale museum and Davidson Whaling Station at Kiah Inlet is a unique place. Wallaga Lake, Brogo Dam and Wallagoot Lake offer good canoeing and kayaking opportunities. The area boasts a number of national parks, historic villages, wineries and the art gallery trail aswell as great local foods. There is a lot on offer for visitors. Getting AroundBega is serviced by bus from Sydney and Melbourne but a car is really essential for exploring the area. There is off street parking for two cars. Merimbula is the nearest airport, approximately 30 minutes away and has hire cars available. Other Things to NoteHouse available all year round. A comfortable bed, spacious bedroom and designer bathroom, with a unique private outlook. Architecturally designed and well appointed, you will feel at home and relaxed. Just across the road from Tathra beach, you will go to sleep hearing the sounds of the surf. We have internet, parking, a washing machine and a delicious breakfast available. The house: Our townhouse is on three levels and there are flights of stairs to your bedroom and bathroom. There is no lift, so some fitness and not too big suitcases are essential. On the ground level there is the entry, then it's up a flight of stairs to the living, dining, kitchen and laundry area, and up another flight of stairs to the bedroom and bathroom level. Your bedroom and bathroom as well as a sunny under cover balcony with timber chairs for relaxing and views up the coast are located here. You will have your own bedroom with adjacent bathroom. It is suitable for a couple or single adult. It is not suitable for children or toddlers. Our bedroom is nearby. Parking is a level walk of approximately 50 metres. Park beside the pink stone letterbox on the left as you first drive in. (Don't drive down the driveway as it is narrow and you won't be able to park.) You will have plenty of privacy. There are warm natural timber floors throughout and crisp cotton bed linen. In winter there is an electric blanket for your extra comfort. A full size wardrobe is included for your clothes and bags. There are 2 comfortable upholstered chairs on the nearby landing for your comfort. A selection of teas are available for your enjoyment. During the cooler months from Easter on, if you would like a simple breakfast of cereal, fruit and tea or coffee we are happy to include that with your stay. Breakfast is in the dining area on the middle level. Location: Located right in the heart of Tathra you can walk to most attractions such as the beach across the road which has life saver patrols during summer and on weekends during school holidays (not July). It is a short walk to Tathra Beach, Tathra Beach Pickle Factory, Tathra Beach Cafe and the fish n chip. For your convenience there is a supermarket within 200 metres. Clubs include Tathra Bowling Club which has a restaurant and Tathra Country Club which has a chinese restaurant. Historic Tathra Wharf is a 15 minute scenic walk - enjoy a coffee and lap up the ambience of this unique attraction. Getting here: Tathra is mid way between Melbourne and Sydney on the Princes Highway. It will take 6 hours to drive here from Sydney and about 7-8 hours to drive from Melbourne. The SpaceOur home has many individual touches as I am an artist. I enjoy creating a place of visual pleasure. My partner Werner and I have furnished the place with interesting treasures, art and furniture from our travels. Our place is constantly evolving as we make changes to both the interior and exterior of the house. Werner is slowly building lovely stone feature walls around our home. We welcome the native fauna into our garden as we back onto a reserve. You will see kangaroos and wallabies regularly grazing in the front or back garden, as well as an amazing variety of birds. From our yard Werner has so far counted 70 species of birds. We get the occasional visit from echidna's, lyrebirds, goannas, blue tongue lizards and possums. Guest AccessWireless internet. The NeighborhoodThere is great access to the National Parks and waterways. Bournda National Park is 150 metres away and Mimosa N/P is also close by. There are walking tracks at our back door. The gorgeous Kianniny is minutes away to take a swim. If you want waves you walk over the hill to Tathra Beach or to Boulder Bay. Tathra has a myriad of cycling tracks through the reserves and National Parks. There are also hard core Mountain Biking Tracks for the fearless. In the vicinity of Tathra and further afield there are many kayaking opportunities in the area. You have the option of open ocean waters, estuaries and rivers. We love the fact that we have a good choice of cafés and restaurants close by. The Locovore at Tathra Wharf is a must and the Blend Cafe can also be highly recommended. Fat Tony's restaurant is also a real treat for the taste buds. There is a good Fish & Chip take-away down by the beach. Tathra has a couple of grocery shops, a great newsagent, Post Office, and a bicycle shop all nearby. Getting AroundCycling and walking are the best ways to see our area. It is recommended to have your own transport as this is a small country village and difficult to go further afield without your own vehicle. Other Things to NoteWe want people to enjoy but respect our home and belongings. Due to our furnishings we prefer bookings with no young children.

You can try your hand at fishing, kayaking or swimming. There are two great surf beaches for body boarding or surfing and paddle boarding. There are local fishing charter boats and in the season, August to November, you can take a Whale watch trip. Dolphins can be frequently seen at all beaches. Lots of fantastic local walks and Bournda National Park or you might even want to climb Mount Imlay. We hear there area some great golf courses nearby as well. The Bar Beach Kiosk is not to be missed for an early morning coffee or a lazy lunch. A little further around is The Wharf Restaurant and Aquarium where local seafood is a specialty. The town centre is 15 minutes walk from Sea La Vie with amazing views of Main Beach, Merimbula Bay and the lake along the way. There are some interesting gift and fashion shops also great restaurants and a cinema. There are two Clubs that provide meals and entertainment and the Bowling Club has a gym. Getting AroundThere are daily flights from Sydney and Melbourne as well as a daily bus services to those cities; including Canberra. The taxi service and local buses provide regular services.     The SpaceLocated in Merimbula, an ideal destination between Sydney and Melbourne, and only 2.5 hours from Canberra. Wandarrah Lodge ,is just that, a lodge/hostel NOT a motel. Our style of accommodation could be described as "glorified camping", so if 4 or 5 star is your preferance, Wandarrah Lodge will probably not be a good fit for you. The building is protected by a back to base fire monitoring system. Our main points of difference to motels are the option to cook your own meals in our communal kitchen, thereby extending your holiday budget. There is the opportunity to interact with fellow travelers in our dining /common room or share a game of pool or table tennis. Tea & Coffee is supplied. While we don`t have spa`s and flat screen Tv`s in all the rooms (or any rooms in fact;) we do provide clean budget priced accommodation in a friendly & welcoming atmosphere. And yes, guests do make up their own beds with our freshly laundered linen that is included in the room rate. There is also free wireless internet access throughout the property. Park the car and walk the 150 metre`s to the beach or stroll 750 m into Merimbula`s shopping area with boardwalk cafes and restaurants. There are many world class walks including the "Light to Light Walk" (Ben Boyd National Park) & "Kangarutha Track" (Bournda National Park).Pick up & drop offs can be arranged if required.     The SpaceThe townhouse will comfortably accommodate 2 to 4 people with a king bed in one bedroom and queen in the other, both lead out to a beautiful green leafy private courtyard. This is not a generic holiday apartment lacking in space and atmosphere but a unique pad filled with quirky art and textiles collected from travels - you'll feel like you're in a different world once inside, yet you are literally within moments of walking to all Merimbula has to offer. Self catering is easy here with excellent food shopping nearby and a well equipped kitchen. We have a carport for your vehicle and extra guest car parking. Please note though if you travel via public transport here to Merimbula our place makes it possible to access everything by foot therefore a car is not necessary. Several national parks nearby, private beaches and lovely country towns for drives, markets, lunch etc. From our place it's also a quick walk to the local shops inc woollies, fresh fish shop, deli, fantastic news agency, bottle shops, cafes, restaurants, pub, bars including new local hipster hotspot Dulcies bar n burgers,clubs & cinema for anything you might need. Mornings here are perfect to go for a walk -head to one of our amazing beaches, have a swim then coffee or breakfast, bliss ! We are situated half way of either main beach or bar beach to walk to for a swim followed by coffee and brekky at bar beach kiosk or crankys main beach. This is the best halfway stopover for the Melbourne Sydney route and easy from Canberra or the mountains. Getting AroundBuses from Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney. From the bus stop it is 5 mins walk to the townhouse. Merimbula Regional airport offers Rex and Free Spirit airlines with flights daily. Taxi it to our place or we can collect you from the airport not a worry. Bicycle hire available from Fishpen and bike tracks between Merimbula and Pambula to use. Other Things to NoteBYO towels. We provide linen and 2 pillows for each bed, should you require extra pillows please bring your own. Whilst we don't have wifi there is free internet at the library 2 mins walk away and free wifi at the clubs. But then you're here to relax right? We are also located on the level which makes it great for walking and coming home from a night out! No steep hills to climb.

    The SpaceIt is a two-storey unit with an outside entrances for both the upstairs and downstairs in case the spiral staircase inside is a bit too tricky to handle! Upstairs there is two bedrooms, the first housing a queen size bed, and the second two king size single beds. The kitchen, loungeroom and first bathroom are also upstairs. Downstairs is 2 bedrooms, one housing a queen size bed, and the other a set of single bunk beds, along with the second bathroom with laundry. Perfect for large families, or two families to fit comfortably in their own space. All that Merimbula has to offer is a mere jump skip and a hop away. The pool is perfect for a quick cool down on those hot days, or just to entertain yourselves while you cook on the barbeque! Guest AccessThe whole thing is all yours! The NeighborhoodThe location is excellent. Just a short walk to all amenities, shopping, clubs, picture theatre. It is also a short walk to the lake and a 10-15minute walk to the beach, or a few minutes drive over the bridge. The complex is small, only 9 units, and very quiet with lots of birds visiting the garden. Getting AroundThere are two car spaces available for parking on the property. All of Merimbula's amenities are within walking distance. Other Things to Note-There is a $50 cleaning fee attached to each booking. -The standard rate is for 2 people. An extra $20 is added for any additional adults. -We expect the unit to be left in a reasonable condition on departure.

    The SpaceThe north facing open plan living area overlooks a nature reserve, giving the feeling of being in the bush. Whilst relaxing on the sunny front deck, you will be viewing the Tathra Nature Reserve and you will also see and hear many birds, and the ocean. My apartment is suitable for three people, a couple and/or single adult – as I have stairs, it is not suitable for toddlers. The living areas have floor boards, bedrooms are carpeted and wet areas are tiled. Guests will share the accommodation with me as the guests bedroom is on the same level as mine and we will be sharing the bathroom (raindrops shower head), but you will have plenty of privacy. A flat screen TV with integrated DVD is in your bedroom, along with a built in wardrobe. The bedroom is located up fourteen stairs, has a comfortable queen bed – from where you will hear the rolling surf of Tathra Beach, which is less than 500 meters away. A single bed for a third guest is located on the ground floor. All linen and towels are provided. This accommodation is located at the bottom of a sloping driveway with level customer parking - park parallel to the front door. Your car is safe on the roadway if you don't wish to drive down the driveway. Guests do not have private entry. Tathra is located within the Sapphire Coast, is surrounded by National Parks and midway between Melbourne and Sydney on the Princes Highway. Driving time is 6 hours from Sydney, 7 hours from Melbourne. Several buses company visit our region, with drop offs in Bega or Merimbula and I will transport you to Tathra. Alternately, there is a one hour flight from Sydney or Melbourne to nearby Merimbula, which is 20 minutes away by car. Free Spirit Airline fly form Essendon, Melbourne to Merimbula 3 times a week. Tathra known for its clean surf beaches, clearly marked bush walking tracks, mountain bike riding trails, art galleries, whale watching and fishing. Listed in the top 100 places to see! A stay between two to five days allows enough time to unwind and recharge as Tathra has lots to offer for people in all age groups. Guest will have access to the beach chairs, beach towels, raindrops shower, linen and towels, a quiet neighbourhood, off street parking, washing machine, free wi-fi I will welcome you on arrival with refreshments and biscuits, while sharing information about Tathra, and discuss the local map with its walking trails, biketracks, shops and beach access. My bedroom is the room next to your bedroom and Monday to Friday my shower time is between 7.45am and 8.00am then I leave for work at 8.45am. I return home from work at 5.15pm. My neighbourhood is located in a cul-de-sac and has native trees and birds, along with the sounds of Tathra Beach waves. Tathra is surrounded by National Parks and a five minute walk through the Nature Reserve will take you to some of Tathra's shops – two Fish n Chippies, a Supermarket, Real Estate, a Gift Shop, Chemist, Bakery and a Pizza Restaurant. A short walk northwards will take you to three more Coffee/Gift Shops and a Bike n Beach hire business. Across this road is Tathra Beach, which is lifesaver patrolled everyday during summer holiday period; every weekend; and during the autumn and spring school holidays. Other local businesses are a Café on the Beach, Bowling Club with a restaurant, Country Club with golf and tennis facilities and a Chinese Restaurant. A 15 minute cliff top walk will take you to the Historic Tathra Wharf for coffee and snacks; and a popular fishing spot. The Wharf historic display is voluntarily maned on weekends. A short distance further you will see the Memorial Gardens which has more Tathra history. Then closeby is the Hotel, The Cliff Place Café, Post Office, another Supermarket, Post Office, Butchery, Hairdresser, Newsagency/Video shop, Laundromat, Bottle Shop, Police Station and Restaurant. If need be, I can arrange dinner bookings for you – all restaurants are within walking distance although courtesy buses are available. Everything you need while you are in Tathra is within walking distance. Closeby there are lots of bush walking tracks in the National Park and plenty of clean beach to walk along. There are several art galleries only a short drive out of Tathra. I work full time from Monday to Friday, I will be home from work after 5.15pm and when you arrive I am able to share and show you the best features of Tathra. If necessary, I can be contacted anytime on my mobile phone. Cooked Breakfast is not included but I have healthy cereals and milk or you are welcome to bring your own cereal, fruit etc. Several local cafe have fantastic breakfasts and will give a discount to my guests. Tea, coffee and milk is provided. My guests will have access to all facilities in my accommodation with the bathroom being shared with me. My accommodation is located in a cul-de-sac in a quiet neighbourhood, my outlook is onto a bush reserve, birds frequently visit and you will hear the ocean waves. Car parking is available at bottom of my driveway and park parallel to the front door. Your car is safe on the roadway if you don't wish to drive down the steep driveway. Guests will have access to kitchen, washing machine, free wi-fi, off street parking and share the bathroom with me. Free Spirit Airlines fly from Essendon, Melbourne to Merimbula 3 times a week. I will transport guests to my house or guests can hire cars at the airport. Buses companies stop in Bega, 20 minutes away, I will transpost guests to my accommodation. Other Things to NoteCar parking is available at bottom of my sloping driveway and then park parallel to the front door. Your car is safe on the roadside if you don't wish to drive down the steep driveway.
