The SpaceCross the bridge and enter our little artsy, woodsy, heaven. Our eco-friendly, timberframe style home was designed by us, and is located along a winding brook on 17 wooded acres in central Vermont. We offer a double bed in a private, sun-filled, first-floor bedroom with separate bathroom. Though the property is on a quiet country road, it is just 15 minutes from the Vermont capital, Montpelier, and even closer to Waterbury, home of Ben and Jerry's and Green Mountain Coffee Roasters. The Mad River Valley is an easy 20-minute drive, and Stowe Village is 30 minutes away. Opportunities for hiking, biking, kayaking, swimming, and fishing abound. There are hiking trails on the property, flower and vegetable gardens, and a babbling brook that is wonderfully soothing to fall asleep to. An on-site hot tub is available and is especially nice under the stars. In addition to being artists, Galen and John are professional massage therapists, and can book you for a treatment for an additional fee. Local bread , cheese, eggs, and cereals are usually on hand, and if the time allows, happy to whip up some eggs or French toast.! Good coffee is brewing early, help yourself!

The SpaceContemporary cape in a country setting. Enjoy being in the country while being close to some of Vermont's best attractions. Visit the state capital in Montpelier, enjoy a craft beer or the Ben & Jerry's factory in Waterbury, explore the Mad River valley, Stowe or shop on Church Street in Burlington. Guest AccessGuests have access to the whole house, except certain personal items, tools, etc. Interaction with GuestsIf we're around we are happy to give any local advise on places to visit and things to do. We may not always be away when you request to stay. In the event that we are home we have an air bed and sleep in the basement. You have both bed rooms and full use of 1st and 2nd floors. We will share the kitchen and bathroom areas. If we're home we'll feed the cats and are also happy to give any area knowledge or tips that we might have. We'll message with you before accepting to let you know if we expect to be around during your stay. Getting AroundA car is necessary. The house is on a dirt road that is very well maintained. In the summer, regular tires are fine. In the winter, you'll need at least all seasons, or preferably snow tires. Other Things to NoteWe have a cell phone service booster that is compatible with Verizon or similar carrier phones. It doesn't work with AT&T providers. But there is good wifi throughout the house. We also have two black cats who come and go as they please.

My place is close to great views of Camel's Hump, and fantastic foliage as well as restaurants and family-friendly activities such as zip-lining, hiking, skiing, biking, rock climbing and swimming. You’ll love my place because of the comfy bed, the coziness of the living room with fireplace and the views of wilderness on our ten acre property which abuts hundreds of acres of undeveloped woodlands..
