The SpaceThis is such a gorgeous flat, that sometimes we wish we lived in it. The views are to die for, and all the rooms are full of light, with plenty of room. The house is very close to Bath (10 mins max), but also in the countryside, so you can go out of the door and walk into the countryside.
You have your own entrance, and there is plenty of parking space. There is a bedroom with a double bed, while the other has a bed which can be either a double or 2 singles. There is also a beautiful 5 acre garden. It would be possible to sleep an extra person if they were happy to sleep in the sitting room; or a travel cot could go in one of the bedrooms (we have a travel cot). If you are a larger party, we have another room which will take 2 people, on the floor below. There is also a summer house in the garden. Guest AccessYou have your own kitchen with cooker, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, condenser dryer, cutlery, cooking equipment etc etc. There is a television and dvd player, and I have a few hundred dvds you can choose from. The flat is all yours. Interaction with GuestsWe are happy to be friendly, and happy to leave people in peace. We will usually be in the house, which is below the flat. The NeighborhoodSouthstoke is one of the most beautiful (and popular) villages in the area. It's south-facing, looking out over 20 miles of hills and valleys with almost no sign of human habitation. Our house was built in 1848. The village is on the doorstep of Bath but also right next door to unspoilt countryside, where you can walk for miles without seeing anyone. It's an amazingly peaceful spot, and you will hear owls at night and woodpeckers in the morning. Getting AroundThe no 13 bus is about 7 minutes from our house and goes in and out of Bath every 20 minutes (takes about 10 minutes except in the rush hour). There's plenty of parking at the house. It takes about 40 minutes to drive from Bristol airport. Other Things to NoteAlthough there are 2 flat roofs adjacent to the flat, they are not be touched. One belongs to our neighbours, the other is only in good nick because no one ever walks on it.
