We have a superb Music Festival on the village green as well as the rapidly growing Milford Food Week. Keyhaven is one of the prettiest places to sail a dinghy. From there you can take a ferry or walk to Hurst Castle; a well known fort built by Henry V111. If you are into walking there are plenty of coastal walks that you can start right from the door. Milford and the New Forest have loads to offer. Cycling, sailing, kite surfing, paddle-boarding are all very popular. Just a few miles to the east of Milford lies Lymington; known internationally as a sailing base. There are two marinas and the town moorings and wonderful Town Quay. We are also close to the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu and the beautifully preserved 18th century shipbuilding village of Bucklers Hard both of which are set in the New Forest National Park. There are buses to and from Milford. and we are 10 to 12 minutes walk from the nearest bus stop. If you do come without a car you will have lots of stuff to do within walking distance. For instance you can easily walk to the village and the beach through the woods hardly having to use the roads. Other Things to NoteWe are happy to have children in the cabin but please note that the stairs are steep and there is a small landing unprotected by a rail. It is clear to an adult that there is no reason to go there but kids would see it as a challenge. We have plenty of space in our garden so if you want to bring any toys like a boat on a trailer, windsurfers, bikes, or a classic car we could probably accommodate. Let us know.

In 1927 it was converted into a family house, whilst retaining many of its original features – timber beams, cartwheel frame window and the stable courtyard which now forms a sunny south facing terrace – which is for the use of the flat. Garden chairs are provided A new kitchen was installed in March 2015 and has integrated induction hob, electric oven, washing machine, dish washer and fridge.
