The NeighborhoodThis rental is located at the corner of a residential street and 700 East, which provides quick, easy access to I-80 and I-15, and downtown. Worried about traffic noise from our neighbor, 700 East? We live here and don’t find it to be an issue…and our guests say they’d come back, so that’s a good sign! Just in case, though, we soundproofed the bedroom windows and provide earplugs for guests. Getting AroundIf you’re coming here for both skiing AND downtown Salt Lake City, our rental is in an ideal location: 10-15 minutes (depending on traffic) from downtown and no more than 30 miles from all the ski resorts. If you have no interest in skiing, that’s fine, too—there is plenty to do within minutes of this rental. The SpaceThis beautiful cottage, built in 1926, was recently renovated. It features thematic vintage arches throughout the house. Enjoy all the comforts of home on the road as the home has a complete kitchen, gas grill, wifi, 3 plasma TVs, cable, patio, bbq, yard and washer/dryer. There is also an Apple TV system to easily order movies or watch anything from your iphone or ipad. The master bedroom is a spacious room with a king bed, and double glass doors that lead to a private patio with a covered pergola, wisteria and a bbq. The master suite also includes a marble tiled bathroom with jetted tub and shower. The kitchen is solid maple cabinets, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and tumbled travertine floors. There is a formal dining room, living room and a family room. The two other bedrooms feature a king and full bed and share a bathroom finished with glass and subway tiles. There's a living room upstairs and a family room downstairs with an air mattress if needed. It's in a great location, about 25 miles to Park City, close to the salt lake resorts, and 15 miles from Salt Lake International Airport and downtown. You can also walk to a grocery store and there are several good restaurants close by, we'll send recommendations with check-in instructions. Fresh linens included as well as a washer/dryer. There is a fenced backyard with grass and a cherry tree. Plenty of street/driveway parking. We love this house and hope you enjoy your stay. The two-floor layout includes one full, upstairs apartment and another full basement apartment—each with a kitchen/kitchenette and living area. Spend time together during the day, then find privacy in the evenings. Every bedroom has either a full, queen, or king bed, and all beds have carefully selected mattresses and luxury bedding. While the adventurers hit the slopes, others can head downtown to shop, eat, and explore Temple Square (all 10 minutes away by car). The Space Wonderful newly renovated half duplex vacation unit centrally located in South Salt Lake city. This is the perfect place to stay for business, pleasure, or a resting place if you are just passing through. It is approximately 1000 square feet with a kitchen, living room, bathroom and two bedrooms. It has a private entrance completely divided from the rest of the house. It is a basement apartment that feels like a home. Wifi super high-speed 50Mbps Cable internet access available free of charge. The living room has a large leather sofa, leather sofa chair, and a very comfy 6 foot monster sac. There is also a 40" Full high definition living room TV connected to a Dish Network DVR. There are two bedrooms, each with it's own unique style and personality. The master bedroom includes a 27" HDTV connected to a DishTV DVR, so you can record all your shows while you are out. The Hopper! - living room and master bedroom are part of a hopper multi-room DVR system. You can watch in the living room, pause, and move to the bedroom to finish. The second bedroom contains a full sized bed with a pull out twin size trundle bed. This room can sleep 3 people. Although if you have 5 in your party you might one to sleep one on the living room couch or the Monster Sac. You also have a twin sized blow up mattress on the upper shelf of the smaller hallway closet. The bathroom contains a shower/tub combo with a clothes washer and dryer. The neighborhood is peaceful and friendly. The house is located on a cul-de-sac, so very little car traffic. You will be close to everything, you cant ask for a better location if you want to visit downtown and the mountains. Travel times: 15 minutes from the international airport 10 minutes to downtown 35 minutes to Brighton, Solitude, Alta, and Snowbird resorts 30 minutes to Park City and Canyons Resort 35 minutes to Deer Valley There is a bus stop near by that can get you just about anywhere you'd like. After you book your reservation, Airbnb will send you a message with all the details about your reservation. Including, where to park, where to get the key, etc. Please read this carefully. check in is 3pm or later, check out is 11am or earlier. If you prefer to check in early or check out late, please let me know, if the schedule permits it, there should be no issues. This place is unique in that you have a full 2 bedroom unit that will feel like a home in a great neighborhood at an affordable price. It will be a challenge to find such a great deal anywhere else! Hope you have a great stay! Although please dont hesitate to call me directly if you need. The NeighborhoodIts a very peaceful section of Salt Lake. This is a residental neighbourhood and has family owned houses. Getting AroundThere is a bus stop one block away which will give you full access to the Utah Trax bus/tram network. Do a search on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) "UTA Transit" to find public transit schedules. Other Things to NotePlease watch out for uneven ground in the back yard but feel free to use it. Seldom a circuit breaker will trip. The breaker box is outside on the back of the house in-between the bathroom and bedroom windows. The 3rd bed is located in the "green bedroom" and it has a pull out drawer (trundle bed) which provides an extra sleeper. Both bedrooms have extra bedding and pillows in the closets. If you would like a 4th bed, I keep a blow up mattress in the small hallway closet on the upper shelf. There is extra bedding stored in both bedroom closets.

The SpaceA cozy, efficient apartment for a couple or a friends’ trip to Salt Lake City. Our 2-bedroom, 1-bath basement unit has extras like luxury bedding on both beds and a 55” Netflix-ready flat screen. Great for traveling business professionals, too! We offer free, whole-apartment WiFi AND a backup Internet provider, just in case one goes down. The best feature, though, is our location: between downtown Salt Lake City (10 minutes) and the ski resorts (20-30 miles). We’re right at a residential corner of 700 for easy access to the city, I-80 and I-15 without the hassles of staying downtown. Who said basement apartments have to be ugly? Ours has plush reclining sofas, soft carpeting, and an eat-in kitchen with all appliances. We even have a washer & dryer. A FEW THINGS TO NOTE That said, we want to be honest with you. A basement apartment isn’t for everyone. The downsides are what you would expect: it’s a bit harder to control temperatures, with less natural light, some noise from overhead neighbors, and stairs to climb (not great for those with mobility issues). We’ve tried to fix or lessen the impact of each of these, and we made sure to use high-quality furnishings and finishes to make it feel less like…well, a basement. Though you can’t access the thermostat, which is located on the main floor, we provide space heaters and fans to help you adjust the space to your comfort. Both of these go a long way! The windows are small (great for privacy) and can be opened for fresh air. And to hopefully cut down on noise, we posted signs to remind upstairs renters to keep noise down, especially during nighttime hours. The budget rate for this apartment reflects its potential drawbacks. Reviewers say our location is worth it, though. Especially if you plan to be out and about more than you plan to stay inside.! The SpaceThis is a huge 2 bedroom main unit of a house located is Salt Lake City. The place has just been remodeled. The livingroom is huge and included is a 50" LED HDTV connected to a Dish Networks DVR. The rooms each include California King sized beds and will sleep everyone comfortably. Please note : The Fireplace is no longer available for use (my apologies). Guest AccessGuests have full access to everything in unit and front and back yards. Interaction with GuestsI live in a different location, so chances are that our paths will not cross. I do live in a house close by and it's normally easy to get a hold of me if there is anything you need along the way. The NeighborhoodThe location is wonderful, so close to everything and situated in a peaceful neighborhood. This was my first home that I owned and I lived in it for 2 years when I moved to beautiful Salt Lake City Getting AroundThere are bus stops one block away. Route 205 runs straight north into downtown, and runs every 15 minutes mon-fri, every 30 minutes on sat, every hour on sunday. For more details lookup "utah transit authority" online. And of course there are several taxi companies only a phone call away.

The SpaceThe space is clean, with a very peaceful vibe. This house is prime for meditation or working from home. This space has a ton of light which will put you in the best of moods. Guest will have access to the kitchen and all other listed amenities. My guest will determine the amount of interaction I will have with them. I have managed several properties and have learned the art/science behind hosting. On the weekends I prefer to make breakfast for my guest. Getting around is easy with Uber. The SpaceThe 700 square ft lower level in my home will be all yours. It is clean, comfortable, private and very cozy. You will have your own entry and drive way too. There are two bedrooms. The front bedroom has a full-sized bed, standard dresser and nightstand with a lamp. The back bedroom has a full-sized bed, two nightstands and two lamps. The beds are on the firmer side with soft and comfy pillow top mattress pads on top of them. The bathroom is 3/4 (no tub). There is a washer and dryer available for your use. The living room has a very comfortable soft couch. It seats three comfortably and there is an ottoman that can be used as a bench or table or as a storage bin which currently contains extra comforters. There is a 50" Smart TV with free access to Netflix, local channels, and other apps plus free access to Wi-Fi. There is a microwave, mini fridge and a coffee maker as well as utensils, plates, toaster and coffee mugs. A small table and two stools are also available. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are installed for your safety. The home has central air and heating. A keyless entry system rather than keys will give you easy access to the home. Guest AccessGuests have access to the entire lower level of the home which includes two furnished bedrooms, a bathroom with shower, a laundry room, and a living room with a Smart-TV and couch. Free Netflix, free Amazon Prime content and Amazon pay-per-view is available. There is a microwave, mini-fridge and coffee maker, but no cooking facilities. The bathroom is stocked with hand soap, shampoo, lotion, bath towels and other essentials. Guests will have access to a hand steam press or iron and ironing board. There is a boot dryer for ski boots and gloves. Guests will also enjoy a private driveway and entryway. The home is located about 1.5 miles from the historic Sugarhouse area which boasts eclectic shopping, bar hopping and unique dinning experiences. Downtown is a short 10 minute drive and the home is very close to public transportation. It's perfect for your stay while attending a conference or taking part in any of the many outdoor activities in the area. Interaction with GuestsInteraction with guests will be moderate. There won't be any shared spaces and the guest area is quite private. I will be available as I live upstairs and can be reached day or night by a phone call or text. There are two older chihuahuas that live upstairs as well. The NeighborhoodThe neighborhood is quaint, very quiet and close to everything exciting going on in Salt Lake City. Many of the neighborhood homes were built in the early to mid 1930's and are endowed with character and charm. This home was built in 1938. There are numerous parks close by as well as small neighborhood coffee houses, unique restaurants and various pubs and grills. The area really is in the center of everything and has something to offer everyone. Getting AroundPublic transportation is very close. There is a TRAX train line station approximately 1.2 miles away from the house and the bus stops just .5 blocks away at the east end of my street. Freeway access to I-80 and I-15 is very close. Drive time to Park City, Snowbird or Alta is about 35 minutes and to downtown is about 10. Other Things to NoteCeiling clearance is about 6'3" throughout the area and a bit less going into the bedrooms, so taller folks would need to be aware of this. Both beds are full sized with down comforters although alternative down comforters and extra blankets and pillows are stored in the under-bed storage bins. The two bedrooms are meant to accommodate a maximum of four people and there are space heaters for those colder days and nights if need be. The chaise sofa will easily seat three but really doesn't work well as a bed and the ottoman can double as a seat. Guests will have access to a ski boot dryer, and an ironing board and iron or a hand steam press. There is an ashtray (flower pot) and chairs outside for smoking. An additional charge of $30/night for a second vehicle will be imposed due to limited parking availability. The door code will be provided a couple days prior to your arrival.

The NeighborhoodThe neighborhood is in a nice quiet location and also just minutes from the freeway, shopping centers, restaurants, bars, Sugar House Park, and more! Getting AroundThere is a bus station a few blocks away and a Trax station in the heart of Sugar House. Other Things to NoteWe have 2 small dogs and a cat. The home was built in 1930.
